- Breakfasts are hearty and delicious, but the coffee is too simple
Cons:
- Don't have basic things like a kettle and a fridge and it was not an Economy room.
- In my room (even after changing to another standard room), there were problems with the air conditioner, which made gurgling noises when running, so it couldn't be left on overnight.
- After taking a shower, a very smelly odor starts coming from the drain, which goes away when it dries out or if you pour cold water over it.
- This is not dependent on the hotel, but you can't open the window at night because there's a bird nest in the center of the lake in front of the hotel, and the birds are very noisy.
Spa was very busy and some maintenance could be done (birch branches had very little leaves...) but all in all a high standard Estonian spa. Loved the mud facial and steam rooms!
Restaurant menu lacks a bit of imagination. Food was ok but compared to other hotel restaurants we've been to in Estonia, Hestia Haapsalu needs a new head chef.
Breakfast was SO GOOD. The pancakes were the type you never get in a buffet, heavy and juicy, please never change this!
Our room was the smaller type and while we got what we paid for it could do with some hooks here and there to hang items.
