Hestia Hotel Haapsalu SPA

I stayed in Hestia Hotel Haapsalu Spa to work on an assignment and it was brilliant. The room was exceptional with inspiring sea view and the leisure activities gave my brain some rest when it was needed. The place was pricey, but worth it.

We loved this property so much that we extended our stay. Rooms.are well appointed and comfortable. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Spa treatments were lovely. Easy walking to nearby cafes, restaurants and some shopping.

Ideal location for the hotel. Near the promenade, the old town, the marina. The hotel rooms are simple but clean. Good WiFi. The spa complex was nice. Breakfast is rich. There was no problem with parking. We had a wonderful holiday.

A gorgeous location and a nicely re-done Hestia. The surroundings really invite you to go for an evening walk.

Spa was very busy and some maintenance could be done (birch branches had very little leaves...) but all in all a high standard Estonian spa. Loved the mud facial and steam rooms!

Restaurant menu lacks a bit of imagination. Food was ok but compared to other hotel restaurants we've been to in Estonia, Hestia Haapsalu needs a new head chef.

Breakfast was SO GOOD. The pancakes were the type you never get in a buffet, heavy and juicy, please never change this!

Our room was the smaller type and while we got what we paid for it could do with some hooks here and there to hang items.

In March 2024 we visited Tallinn Tourest where we participated in a raffle conducted by Hestia Hotels and won a voucher which we could use for any services provided by Hestia Hotels chain. We picked Haapsalu Spa. Booked a package for a night in a superior room for 2 adults. Once we checked into the room and went to wash hands in the bathroom noticed that bidet faucet drips, so decided to ask from the reception to get another room. Without any extra questions receptionist provided us with new key-bracelets to get into new room. The new room was a bit bigger with a better bay-view. Everything was clean. The package included 2 spa-treatments for each guest. In the evening we got a 20 minute water-bed massage which was nice but nothing special. Then we had a 2-courses dinner in the buffet-restaurant. We could choose out of starters, salads, main and desserts selection. The food was good accompanied by an amazing service of the waiter Egon. Haapsalu Hestia hotel has a renovated spa which is not big but quite cosy with a decent number of different saunas and small pools. There is a shower gel offered for visitors in the shower. In the morning we had a hearty breakfast in the in-house buffet-restaurant. There’s a quite generous selection of cold and warm dishes, drinks and desserts. I’d recommend visiting Hestia Haapsalu Spa and staying at the Hotel.

I completely enjoyed my experience at Hestia Hotel Haapsalu Spa. I stayed for one night and price was reasonable. Breakfast in the morning was really good and restaurant was not crowded (it was in January I bet in summer there is other situation).Spa is not big but has all what is needed. Multiple saunas and hot tubes super cool activity especially in winter months. Definetely will be back :)
