Arensburg Boutique Hotel & Spa

I’m very disappointed with breakfast, cheap, unhealthy food, juice from powder, desert is just bread, butter and sugar.. it’s an old hotel with a bunch of problems. Though location is perfect. PS Hotel also has it own small pool and it’s great if you are to visit is when it’s not crowded.

Nice hotel which would need some fixing, because it is a bit outdated. Breakfast was below expectations.

The location is perfect. But sadly the hotel stopped on time and needs to be repaired according to the new tendencies. The hotel started its functions in 2002, and in 2007 they have expanded, but since that time, nothing really. It’s possible to see some accumulated dust on the dark/black walls, chandeliers. The SPA sauna has an unpleasant smell as well.

Very old furniture, totally outdated, shower doors broken, curtains in bathroom almost transparant, around 23.20 terrible sound in the room started. We were notifyed that kitchen maintenance started. Couldnt sleap properly at all. Not good experiance at all. Only good thing, room is large. But when doors opened and random people passing in coridor, all view directly to bed. I dont know, maybe other rooms then nr.9 are diferent, mor new.... but this one desaster. Not for me at all

We thought we booked in a fancy hotel, as the price was quite high. We stayed in “newer” wing of hotel and well, inside seems like it’s older than the building exterior.

In the room, there’s a lot of wine stains on white carpet, the toilet barely flushes (multiple times the turd didn’t flush and you had to flush it manually with bucket) and overall the bathroom looks quite sad. The TV is also quite old, does not fit the “newer wing of building” vibe.

The SPA pool had many small ceramic tiles missing, 2 out of 6 water functions didn’t work and there were no ambient sounds nowhere in the building. That was quite creepy sometimes. Some lights were different ambient colour (some yellow some white, some sockets didn’t have any bulbs anymore), making it feel even cheaper.

But the location is great. Service is very good and breakfast is wonderful. The restaurant is really good as well, I do reccommend visiting that. Would give it 4 stars with all the issues if the place would be cheaper, then expectations would match.

The hotel has overall cosy appearance, central location and good breakfast, but... Air was hot and our tiny room (18) had no A/C. The window could be opened but then it was noisy. The brochure (in Finnish) is misleading - it easily gives the impression that the room is roomy with AC. It is not large either. The personnel in the reception should have responded more serious to our reclamation, e.g. with some small gesture giving minibar products for free (one beer and a bottle water was what we used, 5€?).

We barely visit this hotel again (almost not in the summertime). The room 18 gives not value for money. This was how we felt after two badly slept nights in Hotel Arensburg.
