I have stayed at the Hotel Sophia a few times. I have always had a car, so the location has been ideal as I don't need to drive into the city to check-in. That being said, the city is only 10 mins by road. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the decor appears to be all new. The staff are very polite and exceptionally attentive, and the restaurant is high quality. The connection to the shopping centre is great for couples; we once went to watch a late night film in the cinema and never had to leave the building.

Clean, nice, with friendly service. The restaurant is worth visiting. I haven't had such a good hotel buffet breakfast in a long time. Thank you!

Amazing breakfast. Modern big rooms with a nice shower. You can take the elevator and get out in the modern shoppingmall with many restaurants and a cheap but good Gym. Hotel restaurant is also good. 10 minute car drive to the Centrum or take a scooter (3km)

Found this place by accident, but was very satisfied with everything. Room was clean and big, with a small fridge in it. Breakfast was nice as well. I suggest this place.

Very nice hotel, great location next to a mall, good enough breakfast, and the staff were supernice. There was just one small detail that was not perfect. Sewage system in the shower was not able to cope with the water flow from shower and flooded all the bathroom. Water even started flowing into the room. It took some time after I took shower for the water to go away. Needs urgent fixing.

Nice hotel at the edge of Tartu. Ideal for those who are travelling by car. Nice modern, clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Shopping centre nearby.

Great hotel, very friendly staff including restaurant, AMAZING breakfast, big choice, good quality. Only thing could hear people above walking very loudly was hard to fall asleep. Other than that worth it even with small kids

Great hotel! Beautiful rooms whit big windows and cozy beds. Good food! 2-5 minute walk to Lõunakeskus. Staff wasn’t rude at all. Need a place to stay? Hotel Sophia is perfect for that!

New modern hotel. It is not located in the center, but is conveniently located for access by car. There is plenty of free parking nearby. The room had a sauna, the room was large, large windows and a lot of light. We liked the hotel and can recommend it.
