Cozy place with a wonderful view and welcoming host. Highly recommended if you want the full authentic experience of Aswan.
Absolutely gorgeous view and the host is incredibly polite, respectful, and accommodating. The rooms are not too shabby. Highly recommend this place if you’re a solo tourist and want a great place to stay at as you explore Aswan.
The most beautiful place I reside in Aswan, where I felt more comfortable than the most luxurious hotels in Aswan. Nature is something really wonderful. Thank you Mr. Ahmed for your great generosity
Great experience at this guest house. The location and view is superb and the host super welcoming and friendly. In particular we loved the location. Facing the botanical garden instead of the city adds enormously to the peaceful atmosphere. The room had a great view with balcony and was clean and has a kettle with coffee and tea provided. Upon arrival and departure we were also offered refreshments...
f you're looking for an off the beaten path stay, quiet, and homey this is the one! After a short ride across the Nile our host greeted us at the dock and took us to our room on the island. The beds were very comfortable and water pressure/temperature was great. From the balcony you could see other islands, boats, donkeys, and the locals going about their day to day. A home cooked breakfast on the...

Wonderful night. Lovely quiet view over the river looking towards the hustle and bustle of Aswan downtown. Basic tasty local food. Very friendly and attentive staff.
We stayed 3 nights with the family and enjoyed our stay! This is a basic, air conditioned and very clean hotel with very friendly staff and a fantastic view over the Nile from a roof terrace that always has a nice breeze! Breakfast is good and in the evening a typical Egyptian dinner can be ordered. To get to the East Bank one can take a ferry that runs constantly until 22:00.
Super nice place! Beautiful Nubian house, Perfect if you like hostel / little hotel vibes. Super nice for staying with friends, they have a very big terrace upstairs to chill while admiring the Nile!
A perfect gateway and a perfect, nice, clean and cosy place where you can enjoy your time away from all the noise and crowd. Will definitely visit again soon. Thank you so much for all the help and assistance and for being so nice and decent. Walid is very helpful and I enjoyed our daily conversations.
It's really comforting place. You feel home easily. Everybody there meet you with a smile full of love. Rooms are clean. Roof has a great Nile view . You can go easily to Aswan the city with a very near , cheap ferry. Go and you will not regret
The owners here are amazing! The house is designed like a traditional Nubian house with some western luxurys. The people there are amazing, they keep everything completely clean, even with a dust storm rolling though! The accommodation is great if you're not a big fan of massive hotels etc, this place has great character! The staff also will organise everything for you there for a reasonable price...

My husband and I (USA) stayed 5 nights. What a lovely home and quiet time on the west bank of Aswan. Abdul took care of everything for us, including trips to Abu Simbel, the Temple of Philae, and a cruise down the Nile on his own boat. He even brought us to his friend's wedding, which offered an amazing insight into historical Nubian culture. All of his meals were delicious. We did not want to leave...
Very nice place in a Nubian village, if you are looking for a very different experience than in downtown Aswan. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home. There is a nice terrace with a view on the Nile, the tombs, and the garden of the house where you can enjoy good food for dinner and breakfast. Confort in the room is basic, but if you enjoy the terrace and the garden, you may not need...
Abdel was a great host, very kind and welcoming. Really hospitable, took us to the city and showed us the best places to eat. Beautiful location, away from the house of the city. Organized a great tour for us to abu simbel which we would recommend. The accommodation was very clean and very relaxing. He also cooks a great breakfast!
If you want a truly authentic experience, stay at this guest house! My friend and I visited from the U.S. and this place was our favorite in Egypt. The owner took the time to eat with us and show us his beautiful garden. The guest house is right next to the desert and we walked straight to the Aswan Nobles Tombs from there. The house is on the west bank, so it's quieter and the air is fresh. The view...
nice place with the best view from the westbank on luxor. they organize great trips. Not only the standard camel ride but also bicycle tours, trips to Sudan, Luxor, Abu Simbel etc. Abdul spreekt nederlands.

great and smily people. nice location, the only thing is you are stuck to the ferry if you want to get around. everything requires a trip to the village by boat. we needed ticket to Philae island but luckily staff helped us by getting them from the ticket office in the village.
