Where to stay in Aswan

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and couldn't be more safe if you had little ones who needed to run around. We had absolutely fantastic massages. The spa is not large, but very nice. There is also a gym, heated pool, very large indoor jacuzzi, saunas in the spa restrooms. My mom and I had a great experience. Our only disappointment was that we ordered a Caesar salad at the bar...

The hotel is located on a small island Elephantine island on the Nile River in the middle of Aswan. The hotel is very nice, modern and safe. There is also a high tower in the area, the service is at a high level and the food is very tasty. You can spend the day sailing on a small boat around the hotel, or you can spend time lying on a deck chair and enjoying the atmosphere and pleasant views of palm...

Fabulous view from our room and the restaurants, great food and a genuine inclination from the staff to help guests. We loved our 2 nights here. The deer enclosure is a treat. We also loved watching all the birds along the river bank.

Centrally located in Aswan. The only trouble is the need to travel across to Elephantine Island by shuttle boat to reach the hotel. But worth it with the beautiful view of the surroundings from the hotel. Cleanliness can be improved especially chairs/tables at the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful resort. Everything was organized to perfection and everybody was super kind. Very neat and we had a great view on the Nile. We certainly hope to come back and stay in the same hotel. Thank you so much for!

What an amazing place! It’s an extremely nice hotels on an island in the Nile. Their pool is perfect! The spa is very pampering. We had a birthday in our group and they helped us celebrate in style! Thank you for the experience!

Ferry to the island is convenient. Peaceful environment. The rooms and lifts are quite old and need some renovation

Not so clean rooms and all, breakfast does not have variety, spa is closed for I do not know long, no gym but one thing is good which is important- you get the best view of the Nile river from this hotel, summery - good to stay 2 nights

Looks nice on the exterior but the rooms are very old. Aircon was very noisy throughout, bed was uncomfortable (uneven), service is average, breakfast is also very average. I wouldn’t recommend it for this price.

The hotel is not as good as expected. There’s no Nile view from our room, located at 2nd floor nor from the restaurant, so we didn’t see Nile from the hotel at all. The service didn’t make us feel welcomed. The receptionist didn’t say hello or welcome, and looked impatient. When we asked if the hotel has first aid kit, as my husband was scratched by a cat and needed sanitary treatment, the receptionist...

Hotel reception is friendly and nice. Location is not super good (it is on the hill). But house keeping is bad. The cleaning person opened our luggage (because he/she figured out our password is 000). Luckily we didn’t put anything valuable in the luggage.

Next to the Nile River, the hotel is very unique, the small garden is very beautiful, and the night view is amazing. It is recommended to choose rooms starting with 2 and 6, which are far from the street and quieter. I watched the sunrise and sunset of the Nile River and felt that the trip was worthwhile. In addition, the Egyptian buffet breakfast can be taken away, which is very friendly.

I was worried about the hotel because of the reviews But it was actually very good♡♡ I stayed at a hotel with a view of the Nile It was very pleasant to walk back to the room at a leisurely pace⛵️ Breakfast🥣 was average But dinner was at the hotel restaurant🍽️ The menu was extensive and very delicious✨

Location Good. Service good (the bellboy michael is very helpful). The hotel room is not clean, has bugs. and the water heater and perssure is suck. Not able to take a good shower after a hot day

The hotel was beyond my expectation. First of all, when we checked in, the front desk saw that we were a family of three and upgraded us to a three-bed room for free. Location in the very city center, on the banks of the river Nile and just opposite to the famous Aswan souk - couldn't be better. Staf very attentive. Nice view across the river Nile to the Elephantine Island. Fellucca harbour just beneath the hotel - only a few steps away from your room.

Great value for price that i paid. We have all that we want in any accommodation - clean good bed, towels, toilet roll supplied, floor mat to keep bathroom dry, hot water supply 24hrs to make simple tea /coffee. just out of Aswan Train Station at 1:30am, walk in for the night. Ended up stay for 3 more nights! front desk help to arrange trip to Abu Simbel. i think we paid lowest $US20 pp in a 14 seater...

The room we stayed in was not well-illuminated. Very dim lights, otherwise a simple, standard room that's fair for its price. Critiques: Beds had spines protruding out that weren't easy on your back and spine; shower curtain was not designed properly, went up to your waist, water gushed out the bottom onto the floor, parking is NOT included, good luck finding one on the adjacent streets. The hotel is clean. The room is really big and good space. The price is little high for it's category. The location is perfect and you are close to market, cafes, train station and Nile decks. The staff there is kind. Breakfast 🥞 is horrible

It’s part of my tour staying @ this hotel. So I don’t know how much the tour agency paid per night. Probably a budget hotel. The location is just 2 min or less walking distance from Aswan railway station, many restaurants or shops around here. Hair dryer is not available, air conditioner doesn’t work well n quite hot inside the room, water is leaking everywhere from the hose when I use shower, adapter...

Good for a short stay, work or so, safe enough, no luxuries

Rooms are okish for the price...not fancy but will do if just sleeping is the only preference for booking a room and the rest of the time is being spent visiting local places

Booked for one night but stayed for 3. Great location, friendly staff, safe area for our bikes, great breakfast. Fast wifi in room 101. Looks like renovations are happening.

Good for the money. Following the egiptian standard, it's not modern nor well maintained, but it's ok for one or two nights. Staff is nice and trustable in our experience. Rooms are just ok. The terrace, old and dirty thb. Breakfast ok. Location is quite good actually, near the old market and close to the Nile. For the services they provide, hey are a bit overpriced tough.

It’s a fine place to stay for a few nights. I wasn’t hassled about buying tours, but the tour I did attempt to book through their travel agent was canceled thirty minutes before I was supposed to leave. (Yes, thirty minutes.) It was supposed to be a two-night cruise to Luxor, so now I have to find my own way there and figure out what to do. Stay there but don’t depend on the guy to book a cruise.

It's very simple and alright if you just looking for a place to crash for the night, but they do keep it clean and offer a nice simple breakfast, they also offer boat trips that are cheaper than out there so make sure to ask for it. The staff is very friendly and it has a good location like 10 min walk from the train station.

Location is good. but it is in a narrow Street and it is noisy there. Rooms are simple but ok. Room service is not that good but breakfast is very good.

stayed for 3 days at this village but not at the Kendaka Hotel. Though I went there 2 times to eat! The food above all is delicious and plenty! You can eat like kings for low prices with a lovely view and beautiful decoration of the Hotel. Would recommend 1000 times!

Our stay was short but was a true Nubian experience, great location, right next to the NiLe , room was clean and comfy and having a r Great open view to the NiLe , morning was impressive! They even prepared breakfast the night before our early departure! A true, amazing Nubian hospitality! Would strongly recommend!

This hotel is wonderful! The art is gorgeous, you're close to all the markets and restaurants, the staff is very helpful and easy to communicate with, I have no complaints! Getting a ride from the airport was so easy. I don't eat meat or dairy and they were so accommodating for breakfast and dinner. The welcome drink is delicious!! I miss it!

Wonderful view and amazing staff. I felt super welcomed when there. The local food is really good, and their attention when preparing the dishes is super nice.

My lady and I wanted to end our 10 day trip to Egypt right and were recommended to stay at the Kendaka House. We loved the colorful ambiance that it provided. This place is cozy, impeccably clean and with great ambiance. The atmosphere is laid back but the staff is very helpful and eager to please. They are very proud of their beautiful place and take good care of it and their guests. You must eat at their restaurant!! The food is divine! Simple but exquisite. I reccomend it very highly!

Reception desk needs the most work. There was a lot of noise from outside. Didnt have toilet paper, and there was a whole situation with the heater. At the reception they wanted us to pay in dollars and only accepting cash, that is the most absurd request knowing the law in EGP, wifi was ok and the breakfast was incredible, almost wanting to go back for that. Definitely overpriced. Lady in the reception...

The property is so beautiful, it takes you away from the city and it's chaos. If you want to relax, enjoy the beautiful Nile river, the birds singing and the peaceful nature, it's a must to visit. The food is authentic and delicious.

It's really nice to spend some relaxing time and see the beauty of the Nubian village
