But in my personal experience, the cleanliness was acceptable. Previously, I stayed in a Pyramid View room at Mena House in Cairo, and honestly, I found the cleanliness to be similar

I did a massage there and it was really amazing — very relaxing and exactly what I needed. The jacuzzi is clean and calm, and the whole spa atmosphere is peaceful

Rooms are lovely with views of the Nile and the pool area especially is beautiful. The boat to the island is easy enough and is roughly every 10 minutes operating all day & night

If I ever come back to Aswan, I would definitely stay at Pyramisa again and go to spa for sure. Everything was perfect, and the people working there really make the place special

Although it's on an island, taking the hotel's shuttle boat to and from the island was much more convenient than I expected

Good thing about this hotel is its location on the river and “ok” bazar behind it, which offers local gold jewelry, fruits and vegetables, clothes and other local things for a price you must negotiate ( as everything in Africa)

I totally understand locals when they really try to run any business as good as they can, but they are poor and thank god I’m sitting on clean sheets and some pressure of water in the shower helps me to wash off the dust from the streets

Linens were clean, shower had low pressure of water and they only gave two small pieces is soap and one roll of toilet paper. You only can imagine how local people live if they call this an “hotel”

El prince guesthouse was a really beautiful guesthouse in the middle of the nile in the elephantine island!! The view from the roof was amazing and the stuff were really friendly , polite and ready to help us with every little detail from making sth to drink or eat to give any info for the place or get us to the other side!! Stuff also arranged us a ride with the camels to monastery of saint simon...

My wife and I stayed at Prince Guesthouse. Staff was friendly and accommodating and Elephantine Island is super chill and a quick and cheap boat ride to get there (10 Egyptian pounds each way per person)

From the dock about a 5 minute walk to the hostal. The views from terrace up top are great. Room and bathroom very basic but again the vibe is super chill

Also rooms were clean and cozy!!! We strongly recommend it !!!
