I recently stayed at the Movenpick with a tour booked through Absolute Egypt Tours and had such a great experience! The hotel itself was beautiful, with comfy rooms and lovely views, but what really stood out was the service

What a fabulous hotel. Brilliant location on an island in the middle of the Nile with stunning views both ways. Sunset and sunrise remarkable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Level of service brilliant.

Mohamed, one of the waiters, was amazing. He actually remembered what we’d ordered before, which made us feel really special. His service was top-notch and added a nice personal touch to our meals

Overall, the staff was friendly, the hotel was super relaxing, and I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a memorable stay. Perfect place to stay for your Nile holiday!

One of the best place for a stay in Aswan. The island is great and the stay is of very high value for price. You always see the General Manager around, staff are two friendly as well

Good Hotel, good view, good food, good staff, some high prices. They have their own boat working 24 hours to get guests from the hotel to the city and back.

Isis Island Hotel is one of the most important five-star hotels in Aswan, and it is on the island of a natural reserve

Overall, our experience at Basma Hotel was a mixed bag. The stunning views and outstanding staff were definite positives, but the persistent AC issue and smelly fridge significantly detracted from our enjoyment

We were highly taken good care of by all the staff, especially the guest services agent Monica, who was so kind to make sure everything we needed was taken care of; she checked on us from time to time to ensure we were satisfied

Everyone was so polite and always had a smile. They would do everything for you, even take breakfast down to our rooms. Next time I'm in Aswan, I will book my next stay here again

Take the Felucca to the Nubian Village close to the Aswan Dam Wall, or visit Kitchener Island on the way. We have been to the village twice and enjoyed excellent meals there. The hotel has a great pool and terrace menu

The Isis Corniche is situated very close to some of the Nile Cruises which depart nearby, namely the Radamis11. The pool is stunning and very nice to cool off in while having a cold beer! Sakarra Beer is great!

The cons are; The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and upgrades, including non closing bathroom door, safe wasn't working ( was replaced on request), pool is not heated, not all areas are wheelchair accessible

The hotel location is very nice, infront of the commercial street, stunning view of the Nile with the restaurant and the pool area Nile view. Rooms are very reasonable in size, and furniture

Location in the very city center, on the banks of the river Nile and just opposite to the famous Aswan souk - couldn't be better. Nice view across the river Nile to the Elephantine Island

The customer service is excellent! My husband and I stayed there for four days and they treated us so well. Anytime we called for any type of service they came to our room so fast. Very clean and excellent room service

It was okay - do not look for something fancy The location was good 5 minutes walk from the train station, view from room was nice but was so noisy to enjoy it as there was a public park in front of hotel and loud songs were being played all day

The staff are friendly and very helpful. It's close to the train station and the rooms have a nice view, they need a few updates though. Overall it's an okay stay for a few nights.

just out of Aswan Train Station at 1:30am, walk in for the night. Ended up stay for 3 more nights! front desk help to arrange trip to Abu Simbel. i think we paid lowest $US20 pp in a 14 seater AC van promised 8filled

The room is really big and good space. The price is little high for it's category. The location is perfect and you are close to market, cafes, train station and Nile decks

Critiques: Beds had spines protruding out that weren't easy on your back and spine; shower curtain was not designed properly, went up to your waist, water gushed out the bottom onto the floor, parking is NOT included, good luck finding one on the adjacent streets

Hair dryer is not available, air conditioner doesn’t work well n quite hot inside the room, water is leaking everywhere from the hose when I use shower, adapter is not available, the door is too difficult to open with the key

It's very simple and alright if you just looking for a place to crash for the night, but they do keep it clean and offer a nice simple breakfast, they also offer boat trips that are cheaper than out there so make sure to ask for it

It’s a fine place to stay for a few nights. I wasn’t hassled about buying tours, but the tour I did attempt to book through their travel agent was canceled thirty minutes before I was supposed to leave

Location is great and the hotel is simple and nice. The room was bigger than I expected. Strong air conditioning and basic breakfast. 10 minutes walk to the market. However, it does not have a Nile front rooms.

The breakfast is the best thing it really helps standing up for a long time. The location is nice and accessible. Most of the rooms don't see the nile. The rooftop is closed most of the time except for breakfast

Very nice place in a Nubian village, if you are looking for a very different experience than in downtown Aswan. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home

If you want a truly authentic experience, stay at this guest house! My friend and I visited from the U. and this place was our favorite in Egypt. The owner took the time to eat with us and show us his beautiful garden

There is a nice terrace with a view on the Nile, the tombs, and the garden of the house where you can enjoy good food for dinner and breakfast

He even brought us to his friend's wedding, which offered an amazing insight into historical Nubian culture. All of his meals were delicious. Please do not hesitate to stay here, you will love it
