I would advise you to rent snorkelling fins and goggles for 30 egyptian pound each from city center for 1 day. And you can do snorkelling all day in hotel's beach. If you understand why you are going to Dahab and your goal is snorkeling, diving, freediving, family vacation, then this is the best place. Excellent restaurant, good animation, cheerful and friendly staff. Blue Hole is 3 kilometers away, you can walk there. The reef near the hotel is very interesting.

I had been there for 3 nights for honeymoon in side sea view room breakfast and dinner package. The room was bit different in size and design however it was clean and the view was absolutely breathtaking.
