Lazuli Hotel, Marsa Alam

Overall I had a great experience! The resort is lovely, with a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic staff who go out of their way to help. We especially enjoyed the delicious food and the fact that drinks and snacks were available all day great for relaxing by the pool or beach. The front beach is rocky and has very shallow water. You need to walk the bridge to enjoy the clean deep water and corals. The swimming pool is perfect for cooling off. I also treated myself to a massage, which was very soothing. In the evenings, the parties and animation team are satisfactory. Islam in the animation team is amazing with his lovely energy and Moustafa very helpful golf car driver. It is a great value getaway spot and I’d recommend it for a fun, sun-soaked vacation. It is a home for diverse nationalities from the EU and the Middle East. I appreciate it a lot, Miss. K from the hotel management team for her care and eagerness to check customer satisfaction and work on points of improvement. We will be back again soon :) Thank you!

Overall, the hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food had a good variety and tasted great. There were many pools, and they were big and fun for both kids and adults. The beach was a bit disappointing. It was rocky, and you had to walk on a bridge to reach the deeper water, so it’s not suitable for kids or people who are afraid of deep water. The animation team and activities were okay, but Islam stood out — he was very cheerful and worked really hard to keep everyone entertained. Mustafa (gulf car driver) was always smiling and helpful, and Mazen from security was also very hardworking and kind. Cleanliness could be better — I’d give it 6.5 out of 10. It was okay, but the rooms should be cleaner for a 5-star hotel. Miss K. spoke with us and listened to our feedback very kindly. She said she would take everything into consideration, which we really appreciated.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful stay. The staff are very friendly, especially the beach workers. We would like to thank, in particular, the lifeguard Youssef Ibrahim, who took us swimming in the sea and exploring the coral reefs and fish. service in the restaurant at the highest level, tasty food, my heart was stolen by the grill and seafood dishes. beautiful room with a sea view. It was a wonderful vacation and we are looking forward to the next one. P.S I also recommend horse and quad trips at the hotel.

Great and calm hotel. Very nice and friendly staff and animation team. Food is delicious. Every day there is a different style and taste of food. Healthy food included. Rooms are very good and clean! The resort is big enough. Great gym with helpful trainer. ❤️

Amazing animation team in a wonderful hotel! Different activities every day and cool after parties in its bar. Body the DJ helped us create perfect atmosphere and crush the dance floor. Their beauty salon takes care of every imaginable issue and does it perfectly! Very few souvenir shops in the area.

The "Novotel" hotel in Marsa Alam is a true gem among accommodations where I had the honor of staying. Located right by the sea, it welcomes guests not only with stunning views but also with exceptional service. The staff is incredibly polite, and communication in English makes ordering or changing reservations seamless. Guests are treated with exceptional care and attention. The cuisine at the hotel is a true feast for the senses. Each meal can be composed according to personal preferences, using a rich buffet. As part of the All Inclusive offer, three meals are served, and alcohol is unlimited and free until midnight, making moments spent at the table even more joyful. Additionally, snacks are available between meals, and the pools invite relaxation. The hotel also offers free beach towels, daily towel exchange, and room cleaning. Guests can count on assistance with luggage transport to and from their rooms. Furthermore, the travel agencies in the hotel offer a variety of excursions and transportation to local attractions. Evening entertainment, such as showtime, adds magic to the stay. After the performances, there are discos where the DJ adapts the music to the tastes of all guests, and favorite tracks can be requested. The DJ, with incredible charisma, knows how to excite participants by presenting choreographies for interactive dances. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone!

We had an incredible time at this hotel! The overall design, especially the gardens, was absolutely stunning (the gardeners are doing an amazing job!). Our room was spacious, equipped with everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff ensured our room was spotless every single day. The food was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Every night, there was a BBQ featuring a variety of meats, so there was always something new to enjoy – you definitely won’t get bored of the food! The beach area was fantastic, offering activities like volleyball, pétanque, and even camel rides. One of our favorite features was the pier, where you can snorkel at the end. The underwater world was breathtaking, and the lifeguard was attentive, making sure we felt safe throughout. A huge shout out to the animation team for their incredible effort! The evening shows were fantastic and SO MUCH FUN, and the daily activities like aqua aerobics and volleyball added so much fun to our stay. A special thanks to queen Berta for going above and beyond to make everything even more enjoyable – she’s truly the best! Also, a big thank you to Miriam (I hope I’ve spelled her name correctly; she works in guest relations at the desk next to reception) for helping me organize a birthday surprise. I really appreciate her help! For the downsides: The breakfast bag we received for our early morning flight was disappointing. (This is provided when your flight departs too early for the regular breakfast service.) Unfortunately, it didn’t match the amazing breakfasts we enjoyed at the hotel – we only managed to eat the banana, as the rest wasn’t very appetizing. Lastly, we were constantly disturbed by a variety of sellers trying to promote/sell excursions or the hotel’s amenities. We were constantly being interrupted while we were reading, talking, and even while we were sleeping. We understand this is common in many hotels in Egypt, but it would be a significant improvement if the hotel made an effort to minimize these disturbances. For example, it would be much better if, during check-in, guests were informed about where to find these sellers in case they were interested in booking excursions or spa treatments. Overall, we truly enjoyed staying at this hotel and can’t wait to return!

I praise everything from the reception to the cleaning of the room, the approach of the waiter in the restaurant, the lobby by the pool and of course the animation team, which was excellent. There were also two Czech women in the animation team. The hotel consists mainly of Czech and Polish clients, there were also some clients from Ukraine and Slovakia. We arrived at the hotel at seven in the morning, and although the check-in was supposed to be in the afternoon, they accommodated us an hour after our arrival. You can only expect poorer access to Wi-Fi at the reception, and it is not easy to get to during the day. The food was excellent, of course, quite monotonous, but even so, there was a lot of choice. I definitely recommend water shoes, because there are corals everywhere, from the beach to the exit from the pier. For me, the hotel definitely deserves 5 stars. The environment is clean, well-maintained, in everything they try to meet the needs of their customers.
