It would be 4 star if they had a decide restaurant. The staff is fabulous! - everyone from the door to your hotel floor. However, every 4 star hotel I've stayed in had a real restaurant and bar. This one does not. And the food isn't good. Wings, pizza, kids food. Thank God for the great location. Lots of options. If you upgrade the restaurant and food, you will be a real winner!

This is my third stay at this hotel and unfortunately it will be my last. Today I had a visitor for just a little bit. What he is going to do in my room is my business. Spain is a democracy, where gay marriage is legal. I made sure to go downstairs to greet him but as soon as I got to my room I got a phone call from the reception demanding that my visitor show his ID as a “security measure”. It was 4 pm on a Saturday. I’ve had this happen in Turkey, indonesia, Vietnam and Morocco. Nowhere else, especially in the European Union. This is completely unacceptable and a violation of my and his privacy. I went downstairs and argued vehemently with the reception staff but they would not hear it. They told me to get the police and that it was hotel policy. I demanded to see it as nowhere had I signed this agreement and it was nowhere mentioned on the booking site. This usually appears in the section: hotel policies or important information. I will contact the site I booked it from today to make them aware of this policy so that they demand the hotel add it to their description. This is the first time this has happened at this hotel considering it’s my third stay here and I was here ten days ago! Please be aware when booking that if you have a visitor, you need to make sure they can show / are willing to show ID otherwise they won’t be able to come up. They even ask to take a picture of the ID and if they only have a digital one they request that they send it to their email. I have asked a Catalan friend who is a mosso (police officer) here Barcelona and this is completely ILLEGAL as they are not hotel guests. I am wondering whether it’s some kind of discrimination from some of the staff regarding the orientation of the guests.STAY AWAY. The Franco days are not far at this hotel. I am completely disgusted.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Metro station is just across the street. Many good cafes and restaurants are nearby.
The room itself is okay, big with AC and the possibility of making a cup of tee or coffee.
However, the walls are thin, so you can hear everything at night. There was also mould in the shower. The swimming pool is quite small only 1 meter deep and bar wasn't even open. Overall, I think it's too pricey. You can find better places for this price in Barcelona.

Stayed in June 2024 for the Rammstein concert at Estadi Olimpic stadium. Location was great for this. Hotel staff were excellent. Cold fridge in room was good. Shower was as hot as you like and powerful. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 star review was the bed. It was noisy and felt like it might break.

Friendly & helpful staff with good english, clean room with good matelas, big lobby to rest if you arrive before check in. Location is good, close from supermarket and 30 min walk from the famous traditional market.

Metro station L3 line in front of the hotel. 50 minutes from the airport (S9s + L3 lines). Far from beach. Lidl 5 min walk same for carrefour express. Buffet in hotel for breakfast. Pool (not heated), gym, jacuzzi all on fourth floor so choose wisely. 409 is the largest room on 4th floor. Underground parking, elevators. Cleaning service speaks Spanish and Catalan.

Great location to explore the city and a quick hike to Montjuic.
The service was superb and staff was very helpful in all regards. Breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from.
