Super helpful staff made sure the checkin process was breezy. They informed about all the things in the hostel and helped with how to commute and what to see in the city. The place is really close to the Beach and other basic things. They have their own walking tour and party hop nights almost daily. They also have PS and Wii for people who love it. Their breakfast spread is quite lavish too.
Very friendly staff. It's a hostel, so don't expect too much from the rooms. Some rooms are very small, others have a bit more space to move around in. The location is pretty good, a 5 minutes walk from the subway and close to the beach as well. Also the prices are pretty cheap.
Wonderful hostel with very friendly staff. Shout-out to Anna and George for making the stay more than just a place to sleep.
Awesome hostel that's in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Fairly close to public transport and literally 5 to 10 minutes from the beach. May not be on the beach but the walk is nice. Good cafes, bars and restaurants in the area. Hostel is clean, comfortable and convenient. Friendly, helpful staff with a good vibe and atmosphere about the place. Totally enjoyed my stay here.

Located in a nice quiet area but far from the center which is not bad if they offer a low price for your dates. However it needs to be refurbished and the should pay more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and especially bathrooms.
The hostel is budget friendly. Quality of rooms and the service is worth the money. But the location and the state of sanitation and the no if bathrooms can be improved. Not a lot of clear instructions or information is provided on how to use the swimming pools and the play area provided by the property. A group of three or four cannibal wild board roam freely around the property who reside in the...
We stayed for one night and overall enjoyed our experience. The checkin staff were very friendly and helped us out with a small problem that we had. However, dinner was below our expectations and quite expensive. It was 8€ for a pizza from the freezer and 8€ for a very small serving of meatballs and potatoes. We paid a little more on Hostelworld and the breakfast only included a pastry or toast with...
The hostel is a bit off Barecolna Central but that is exactly what makes it so special. It is peaceful, no pollution, no cars. The hosts are super nice. The people staying there are wonderful. Highly recommended.
Nice clean hostel in beautiful location, fairly convenient to city centre, especially like that they employ mentally & physically disabled. Individual bed-lights & charging points but only one bathroom in 12-bed dorm. Swimming pool empty when I was there and no kitchen I could find!
Lovely environment. Each bed has its own charger, lamp and little shelf. And lockers available. Feels very secure. Friendly and social breakfast and lots of nice guests of all ages and nationalities.

Spent about 5 days here. The overall experience is positive. Some issues faced by me, though minor, have also been pointed out by other reviews repeatedly. - The room key sometimes stops working and you have to go to the desk to have it fixed. They say not to put it with your phone or magnetic surfaces but it still randomly stops working. - The elevator is indeed the slowest in all of Europe. It was...
I want to start by saying that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the location is fantastic, the breakfast options are yummy, and the room size is just right. Everything that I went to and did was easily in walking distance or able to get too by train/bus/taxi. The atmosphere was positive, upbeat, and the decoration was stunning. I love the "bohemian" style interior design. The small breakfast...
Great location, it was convenient to most tourist attractions. It was clean and service was amazing. Big shout out to Surib, Jenny at the reception and their manager, Xavier. They were always ready to go the extra mile! Well done team and thanks for making my stay comfortable.
Not the best hostel experience, but also not the worst. Did have higher expectations though, considering the price. We booked a private double room, but we may as well have slept in a dorm because we were right next to the shared bathroom for the floor and got minimal sleep, so the private ended up being pointless. It was very difficult to fall asleep to slamming cubicle doors and hand dryers for ...
Great hostel! The rooms were nice, and there was a ton to do there. Very clean and modern.
Had many problems with our air conditioner but they upgraded us to an extremely nice room for free! Cool atmosphere & friendly staff but beware, most rooms are very small. Lots of cool events going on for young people as well, would reccomend to someone in their 20's but not to a family or anyone of older age.

Friendly hostel and staff made sure it was secure, clean and not too loud. Great job!
It was a great stay, the staff was really friendly, Gian Luca in special, he spent even time with the guests after work
The hostel stands in a strategic position to visit Barcelona and still is very cheap! I loved the design of bedrooms and commun rooms. Everything is very clean and the staff is really really nice and they help you with everything. Highly recommended :)
I recommend you all to visit this wonderful hostel. Available to book online or after arriving. You will meet international inmates. Full of activities and in the middle of the city. Friendly team, quiet atmosphere, good mattress, warm and clean blanket, nice balcony over the street, very clean toilets and showers and fully equipped.
This hostal is well located, the people are nice, the rooms and bathrooms is clean and they offer free dinner and a lot of activities that helps you to know the city better ! I truely recomand it !

I really liked the hostel. It's small, cosy and nicely designed. The staff is amazing, family atmosphere and comfy beds. The only negative points. The shower runs very shortly, the common area was quite cool, the beds have plastic under the bedsheets which makes movements louder and assume it will make you sweat in summer, also there were no duvet covers, which I find a bit odd and maybe not super...
Came back to barcelona and stayed here again its just a really cool place and it brings people together with activities and all around friendliness from staff. There is curtains on the beds and also the mattress was memoryfoam and I slept like a log. I'd say it's the hostel I've ever stayed in on my travels around Europe. Il be back again for sure
Excellent location, close to public transport and the port (beach just a couple of minutes away by bus). Very nice rooms and staff, extremely friendly and welcoming environment. Elise especially was absolutely great! I highly recommend staying at this hostel. 10/10 :)
i am so glad I found pars teatro! I lucked out with this being my first solo travel hostel experience. it’s very cozy and comfortable, there’s a communal social feel and you really get to know other travelers in the common room and kitchen, who quickly become friends. i love the theme, it’s whimsical and playful and has lots of character which is so much more welcoming and delightful than other hostels...
Had an amazing time at Teatro. Brian at the front desk became a friend rather than just an employee. The staff puts a great deal of effort into your Barcelona experience. They take you out to a bar and a club every night with free entrance, which goes a long way in Barcelona. Erik, who works the night shifts, is always good for a game of chess as long as you don’t mind losing. Thanks Teatro!
Fun people, clean bathrooms, lovely interior, best hostel choice! Props to Ali, had the funniest nights with her ?

I had a really great experience with the hostel everyone was super nice even i had a good talk with 2 receptionists they were really helpful to provide all the information. And they also had pub Crawls which are supper amazing. I met martin, he was an open minded and a fun loving person person. If i visit Barcelona i hope see him again.
One of my favourite hostel experiences so far! * The common area where you can chill & eat food brings everybody together. They offer dinner every night for €4 and it was so nice! * Really good if you are travelling alone as there is always something going on, you meet so many people daily. * Facilities were good & beds were comfy * The staff are also cool, so many good chats. Toni & Gerardo I love...
Ovetall good ambient and working crew. Cleanliness around the toilet/shower areas could be adressed. A good place to spend the night!
Good vibe overall, they have stuff going on at night and even serve meals. Common areas are huge and homely, and the bathrooms and dorms are clean and high quality. Huge party hostel with a lot of Americans as well as some Europeans, Latin Americans, etc. The one major con is that they open the windows in the dorms, and falling asleep is really hard with noise from the street below. As long as you...
best hostel I've ever stayed at! When you walk in, you're immediately greeted with a warm welcome from Pedro, Fernando, or Tony. It was a very modern and English friendly hostel but don’t plan on being able to chill in the rooms. They are small and cramped. That being said there were plenty of common areas where if you wanted some alone time you could find it. Great view of the city and everything was accessible via tram or metro.
They are great, but the breakfast is the same, View is fantastic and no one cleans the rooms or toilets and the showers have to keep on pressing which is frustrating. Lifts were a bit broken and vending machines are scam I had to get my money back but the terrace was great. So overall not bad.
Good and clean room with fantastic view from 8th floor, tiny but bigger than we expected. Reasonably quiet despite San Juan celebrations!
While the rooms are small, they’re so clean and modern that it was no bother. Amazing views of Barcelona (from the room and the rooftop terrace) & even though the windows don’t open there is aircon. There’s plenty of communal areas and a well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfy spring mattresses and they even had UK & EU outlets at each bed. The only negatives are just that the location isn’t really...
Amazing friendly staff that will help you with anything at all hours. They're not afraid to join you for a drink either and just chat (or sing) with you. The rooms are great, cozy and comfortable; with a good locker system and lovely showers. The bar and terrace is spacious and comfy with events on every night of the week. Good location with restaurants and supermarkets nearby and a 2 min walk to...
Came back after not knowing what had happened to me with blood and mud on my face and whoever El is, she is the nicest person ever! Never got to thank her in the morning! Excellent place in the center of Barcelona! Customer service was great! Would stay again! Some things you could add to make Urbany Barcelona Go even better would be Ice machines so we could get ice for our water bottles, and even a water bottle filling station. Let's start with the good. Brilliant location, and very easy to access from the airport. The lockers provided are really modern and the best I've seen in a hostel. The rooftop was cool, I used the small pool multiple times However the staff were a miserable bunch and the least helpful I've ever come across. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and waking up one morning to two housekeepers using slurs and...
Reasonable walking distance to many touristic sites as well as restaurants. A couple fruit stores nearby reasonably priced with fresh food and delightful coffee shops. Comfortable rooms but would be nice if there's more hanging places for small clothing pieces that needs to be dried up
The staff was awesome, funny, kind and very helpful. The breakfast was a variety of lots of things. I would add more fruits but it was very good! The two rooms where I slept where super clean, accessible, comfortable and quiet (most important) The lockers that you open with your key card where big enough for all my luggage, the shower warm, kind of annoying that you have to press all the time the button...
There is a huge variety of activities during the night what is super fun for getting to meet people. Its perfect location allows you to be close to the metro, food, pubs, clubs and shops. For skateboarders going to skate Barcelona it is perfect as MACBA is 10 minutes away and their is also lots of ledges close by. The staff members are super nice and are very helpful. :)
After traveling around since over three month now, I can clearly say this was one of the best hostels so far! Only thing they could improve is a bit unstable WiFi.

Decently sized rooms, but low ventilation so in a room where 10 people are showering a lot and have dirty clothes, it starts to smell. Nice service and always a smile behind the desk. They offer a pub crawl for 15 euros, we joined twice and had great fun both times, good way to learn the nightlife and get to know new people. There is free wifi, but this doesn't work too well in the rooms, in the lobby...
As a solo female traveler, I found this place very welcoming and safe-feeling. The staff is super helpful, the free breakfast is nice, the overall stay was very affordable, and the place has amenities like an outdoor space to relax with a pool. They also keep everything very clean. I definitely recommend staying here if you are exploring the beautiful beaches nearby :)

Experience for One day is good. Staff is good👍 About room is too much small. Tourist tax 6.06€ is too much. And in room not available towels. Is you need towel you need to pay 3 € for each towel and 10€ deposit. And main point price is very good for this zone
The beds weren’t clean, there’s was no privacy, the power sockets were very far from the beds. Also, the guy at check-in was very rude and totally not understanding of the problem we were having with the payment. The bathroom was quite clean though and also private. I recommend staying here only if you’re in a large group of people in order to take a whole room just for yourselves.
The included breakfast is good for the price. The beds are nice. No one pays any attention to quiet hours, so bear that in mind. Also, laundry is expensive here.
Facilities were well maintained and clean, staff were excellent. I stayed in a dorm that felt a bit crowded being almost full. However, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was fairly varried generous.

Pretty decent hostel, clean and quiet. It is close to two metro stations so we found it easy to use the public transportation. Realy nice place for such price. Calm, friendly and close to the center.
The staff in the hostel is amazing, very helpful and nice. The location is perfect if you plan on walking on your trip. Bathrooms and showers aren't the most comfortable since they are very small. Even though this wasn't the prettiest hostel I've stayed in Barcelona, it has been my favorite!

Overall a decent stay. Clean and somewhat comfortable (found the bed a bit too hard). The free dinner was an absolute joke (mini hot dogs with cheese) so we went elsewhere. Lockers are far too small for belongings.
A perfect hostel, all the staff were so chill, amazing bike tour and everything was so clean. It has everything you need and the staff always went further to do help us even when we were being difficult. If I'm ever in Barcelona I will return to bed & bike!
Very cosy! Clean kitchen and friendly staff. We could bring our own bikes inside. Perfect for bike packers. Free bike sightseeing tours in the morning!
Completely awesome place. Location is great and even by foot or with bike everything is near. Beds, kitchen and bathroom was clean, for hostel above average. But the best thing were people working there. Thanks to free group dinners and their hospitality I felt like home. I love to try new places but when returning to Spain I'll go there again.
This is an outstanding hostel. Being able to roll out of bed and get sorted with a nice bike from reception at a reasonable price was such a game changer for my experience in Barcelona, especially with the free bike tour!
