Spent about 5 days here. The overall experience is positive. Some issues faced by me, though minor, have also been pointed out by other reviews repeatedly. - The room key sometimes stops working and you have to go to the desk to have it fixed. Not the best hostel experience, but also not the worst. Did have higher expectations though, considering the price. We booked a private double room, but we may as well have slept in a dorm because we were right next to the shared bathroom for the floor and got minimal sleep, so the private ended up being pointless. Had many problems with our air conditioner but they upgraded us to an extremely nice room for free! Cool atmosphere & friendly staff but beware, most rooms are very small. Lots of cool events going on for young people as well, would reccomend to someone in their 20's but not to a family or anyone of older age.

Amazing hostel. Took my breath away visually. Sadly, the elevator is finnicky and taxis don't know the location. So close to perfection.

The hostel stands in a strategic position to visit Barcelona and still is very cheap! I loved the design of bedrooms and commun rooms. Everything is very clean and the staff is really really nice and they help you with everything. Highly recommended :)

I recommend you all to visit this wonderful hostel. Available to book online or after arriving. You will meet international inmates. Full of activities and in the middle of the city. Friendly team, quiet atmosphere, good mattress, warm and clean blanket, nice balcony over the street, very clean toilets and showers and fully equipped.

This hostal is well located, the people are nice, the rooms and bathrooms is clean and they offer free dinner and a lot of activities that helps you to know the city better ! I truely recomand it !

I've stayed in several hostel in Barca. This wins! Amazing hostel to meet new friends! They have tasty free communal dinners each night, good open minded people seem to stay here, good bar crawl that you only pay once and can go as much as you like. Great location. Go for it!

AMAZING!! The people who work here are so helpful, laid back and people you want to remain friends with for life. I loved all the events they had available for you to join if you wished (pub crawl, paella cooking lesson, beach) The rooms were spacious and comfy and you are given a card that opens a locker for you under the bed to store your stuff. Decently sized rooms, but low ventilation so in a room where 10 people are showering a lot and have dirty clothes, it starts to smell. Nice service and always a smile behind the desk. They offer a pub crawl for 15 euros, we joined twice and had great fun both times, good way to learn the nightlife and get to know new people. As a solo female traveler, I found this place very welcoming and safe-feeling. The staff is super helpful, the free breakfast is nice, the overall stay was very affordable, and the place has amenities like an outdoor space to relax with a pool. They also keep everything very clean. I definitely recommend staying here if you are exploring the beautiful beaches nearby :)

Pretty decent hostel, clean and quiet. It is close to two metro stations so we found it easy to use the public transportation. However I believe it's a bit overpriced because it's quite remote and the beds are uncomfortable. The rooms is the normal size for hostels. The breakfast was alright. What annoyed me was that the shower and sink was placed in a room and the toilet in another, so if someone was showering and you went to the toilet you couldn't wash your hands, that's just bad layout. But the rooftop had a really nice view.

Clean and good value for money. The hostel is a little further from the main attractions however close to some good bars and clubs. The aircon in the room was a little too hot and you couldn't control it. All of the staff were really helpful and friendly couldn't fault them at all.

It was a very modern and English friendly hostel but don’t plan on being able to chill in the rooms. They are small and cramped. That being said there were plenty of common areas where if you wanted some alone time you could find it. Great view of the city and everything was accessible via tram or metro.

They are great, but the breakfast is the same, View is fantastic and no one cleans the rooms or toilets and the showers have to keep on pressing which is frustrating. Lifts were a bit broken and vending machines are scam I had to get my money back but the terrace was great. So overall not bad.

Amazing friendly staff that will help you with anything at all hours. They're not afraid to join you for a drink either and just chat (or sing) with you. Came back after not knowing what had happened to me with blood and mud on my face and whoever El is, she is the nicest person ever! Never got to thank her in the morning! But the whole staff was really nice, great price, great rooms with English plug sockets, really can't complain apart from wanting to have beer on the 3rd floor!

Experience for One day is good. Staff is good👍 About room is too much small. Tourist tax 6.06€ is too much. And in room not available towels. Is you need towel you need to pay 3 € for each towel and 10€ deposit. And main point price is very good for this zone

The beds weren’t clean, there’s was no privacy, the power sockets were very far from the beds. Also, the guy at check-in was very rude and totally not understanding of the problem we were having with the payment. The bathroom was quite clean though and also private. I recommend staying here only if you’re in a large group of people in order to take a whole room just for yourselves.

The included breakfast is good for the price. The beds are nice. No one pays any attention to quiet hours, so bear that in mind. Also, laundry is expensive here.

Facilities were well maintained and clean, staff were excellent. I stayed in a dorm that felt a bit crowded being almost full. However, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was fairly varried generous.

Came back to barcelona and stayed here again its just a really cool place and it brings people together with activities and all around friendliness from staff. There is curtains on the beds and also the mattress was memoryfoam and I slept like a log. I'd say it's the hostel I've ever stayed in on my travels around Europe. Il be back again for sure

i am so glad I found pars teatro! I lucked out with this being my first solo travel hostel experience. it’s very cozy and comfortable, there’s a communal social feel and you really get to know other travelers in the common room and kitchen, who quickly become friends. i love the theme, it’s whimsical and playful and has lots of character which is so much more welcoming and delightful than other hostels...

Had an amazing time at Teatro. Brian at the front desk became a friend rather than just an employee. The staff puts a great deal of effort into your Barcelona experience. They take you out to a bar and a club every night with free entrance, which goes a long way in Barcelona. Erik, who works the night shifts, is always good for a game of chess as long as you don’t mind losing. Thanks Teatro!

Excellent place in the center of Barcelona! Customer service was great! Would stay again! Some things you could add to make Urbany Barcelona Go even better would be Ice machines so we could get ice for our water bottles, and even a water bottle filling station. Reasonable walking distance to many touristic sites as well as restaurants. A couple fruit stores nearby reasonably priced with fresh food and delightful coffee shops. Comfortable rooms but would be nice if there's more hanging places for small clothing pieces that needs to be dried up

There is a huge variety of activities during the night what is super fun for getting to meet people. Its perfect location allows you to be close to the metro, food, pubs, clubs and shops. For skateboarders going to skate Barcelona it is perfect as MACBA is 10 minutes away and their is also lots of ledges close by. The staff members are super nice and are very helpful. :)

After traveling around since over three month now, I can clearly say this was one of the best hostels so far! Only thing they could improve is a bit unstable WiFi.

I had a really great experience with the hostel everyone was super nice even i had a good talk with 2 receptionists they were really helpful to provide all the information. Super helpful staff made sure the checkin process was breezy. They informed about all the things in the hostel and helped with how to commute and what to see in the city. The place is really close to the Beach and other basic things. They have their own walking tour and party hop nights almost daily. They also have PS and Wii for people who love it. Their breakfast spread is quite lavish too.

Very friendly staff. It's a hostel, so don't expect too much from the rooms. Some rooms are very small, others have a bit more space to move around in. The location is pretty good, a 5 minutes walk from the subway and close to the beach as well. Also the prices are pretty cheap.

Awesome hostel that's in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Fairly close to public transport and literally 5 to 10 minutes from the beach. May not be on the beach but the walk is nice. Located in a nice quiet area but far from the center which is not bad if they offer a low price for your dates. However it needs to be refurbished and the should pay more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and especially bathrooms.

The hostel is a bit off Barecolna Central but that is exactly what makes it so special. It is peaceful, no pollution, no cars. The hosts are super nice. The people staying there are wonderful. Highly recommended.

Nice clean hostel in beautiful location, fairly convenient to city centre, especially like that they employ mentally & physically disabled. Individual bed-lights & charging points but only one bathroom in 12-bed dorm. Swimming pool empty when I was there and no kitchen I could find!

Lovely environment. Each bed has its own charger, lamp and little shelf. And lockers available. Feels very secure. Friendly and social breakfast and lots of nice guests of all ages and nationalities.

A perfect hostel, all the staff were so chill, amazing bike tour and everything was so clean. It has everything you need and the staff always went further to do help us even when we were being difficult. If I'm ever in Barcelona I will return to bed & bike!

Completely awesome place. Location is great and even by foot or with bike everything is near. Beds, kitchen and bathroom was clean, for hostel above average. But the best thing were people working there. Thanks to free group dinners and their hospitality I felt like home. I love to try new places but when returning to Spain I'll go there again.

Hostel Artistic is a good lodging option for the price. It offers guests spacious private rooms that have balconies,TVs and mini refrigerators. Providing guests with easy access to Las Ramblas, the port and beach, and other popular attractions, the hostel's excellent location in Barcelona's El Gotic district is another pro.

Had a great experience stayin at Diagonal House. The place is clean and airy and all the facilities provided were superb. You get to meet a lot of people from various places which is and enriching experience in itself. Apart from that it has a great location with a lot of things nearby. I would definitely go back to this place the next time I visit Barcelona.

The staff in the hostel is amazing, very helpful and nice. The location is perfect if you plan on walking on your trip. Bathrooms and showers aren't the most comfortable since they are very small. Even though this wasn't the prettiest hostel I've stayed in Barcelona, it has been my favorite!
