The hotel is fantastic, very nice staff, it was close to the beach, the food tasted really good and the rooms were really clean.

The only thing I can recommend is the good breakfast. Facilities: It's relatively new, and the room area is quite large in Europe. The window is blocked by structural steel frames

Overall, I won't stay here next time. It's next to ******, and there are parties nearby at night. Although it's Marriott Ritz, the overall service doesn't feel sincere

Very good hotel, the service staff are very nice. Breakfast can be ordered or buffet. The Michelin restaurant Paco Perez on the first floor is worth a try

I don't know if it's because of the season, there are many pigeons in the hotel swimming pool🕊️

The location is moreso the late night/early morning party scene; it's a taxi or a hike to the cultural heart of the city. Barcelona beaches are close, but a little dirty with trash

We even had a small attention for Valentine's Day, it was a nice surprise ! The hotel is not in the city center but the location is easy to reach by walk or public transport. I had a lovely stay and totally recommend it

Update : Stayed here again in Jan 2024, still my favorite hotel in Barcelona. I strongly recommend trying the rooftop bar, excellent cocktais !

Great service, beautiful rooms!

Super service. Attentive staff. Stayed on the 23rd floor facing the city to the left and the med to the right. Amazing view. Excellent access to the beach. And pretty good restaurants and bars. I highly recommend.

The W stands tall as the only ocean front luxury hotel on this Barcelona Beach area. Red walls, hallway, carpet and elevator. The bed is located in the center of the room and it’s very clean

This hotel is not far away from the beach, from our room we can see the mediterranean sea. It is a bit far from the city center, about 20-30 mins by metro, but it is still acceptable for us

We were less satisfied with the service; it was possible to order pillows with the app, but it kept not working. Reception dit not answer the phone or the provided whatsapp number when asking questions

Location is close to a metro and tram station which is good, but otherwise its not very central so if you are here purely for tourism its a bit further away from most tourist places

Close to the beach, quiet environment The hotel is very grand, but the location is a bit off, and the facilities are relatively old The service is polite, and there are not many people in the off-season It's a good value for money for about 1,000 yuan in January

The good thing about this hotel is it’s in the middle of the city near the beach and 10 minutes walking. You can be anywhere you want in Barcelona the rooms are spacious and super clean

Roof top swimming pool is not large, but there's great view of the harbor up there: it's easy to hang out up there getting a gym workout, reading a book in the Catalonia breeze

The hotel is in a good location, right by the bay, with a bus at the door and a sea view. The front desk was very friendly and gave me a room with a sea view

Location wise, it is a walking distance away from the beach. If I visit Barcelona again, I will definitely consider staying here again!

Stayed 1 night here: absolutely good experience! Room is so spacious, corridor walls are lined with wood like planks, which made us feel that we were walking on a luxurious yacht

Our United flight was canceled and we were provided lodging at the Catalonia Ramblas, and Sabrina gave us the terrace suite! The room was very nice, with a heated towel rack and private pool

Zero noise through the night, very comfortable bed and plenty of comfy pillows, has a great pool which is rare in a big city, lovely staff, breakfast buffet is spot on and great location for the Ramblas and metro and buses

We could not have been happier! We booked a Superior room, but were silently upgraded to a Deluxe room with a view of the pool and the courtyard. The room was quite large, beautifully renovated, with a great bathroom

The hotel is convenient for traveling to and from the airport. As the weather is clear and sunny, strolling around the streets near the hotel is also very enjoyable

Our family recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Central in the historic gothic district in Barcelona and we had an amazing experience. The hotel was immaculate and the beautifully furnished

The rooftop bar had amazing views and an infinity pool. The restaurant on the ground floor had a great bar and terrific food and the breakfast in the main salon was delicious

Terrace is pretty cool gives panaromic view of the city, the pool is tiny. Watchout for the area would never recommend such area for tourists

The 360-degree restaurant on the top floor has a wide view. Have a drink, enjoy the view, and enjoy your body and mind! The breakfast restaurant waiter is warm and thoughtful! A bit far from the subway station

Bed was super comfy, room was spacious and very clean. I was initially concerned about our stay due to reading the reviews on the area of the hotel prior to our trip, however this was nothing to worry about

I gave some feedback that there weren’t wash cloths and they brought something similar a few hours later. The 360 rooftop view is breathtaking and the bartenders craft amazing cocktails on the top floor

When booking we asked for 2 separate beds in our room, but we had to separate them ourselves. Left a note on the bed to ask the cleaning person to keep them separated and they did, very nice

Public areas are quite pretty. The hotel is located on a fairly unattractive square, but close to the marina which is nice. The rooms are fine in decor, and with nice linens

The room was on the 14th floor overlooking the sea. Of the minuses: the windows did not open and the breakfast was not particularly varied. Overall positive emotions.

Rooms are a bit small for my taste and way to dark (only one window with metal cover on the outside - blocks all the view). Bathroom is also small, especially the toilet

Great location for a short walk to the beach

I’m 9 months pregnant and have an almost 3 years old so it’s not easy to go anywhere alone, but everyone made me feel comfortable and made everything super easy and accessible for us

My wife and I were visiting Spain for the first time. We found this hotel to exceed our expectations in both quality as well as atmosphere. Lovely, calm place to stay in Barcelona

We also enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. It is especially family-friendly. We stayed there with our 14 month-old baby and it was great. It is also close to some main attractions with a metro station close-by

There is no better place to stay while in Barcelona. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the Terraceview that I had of the city and ocean was stunning

The hotel suited our trip to Barcelona because we wanted access to the waterfront and to the city by bus and metro. The room was super and we would have used the pool if it was warmer weather

No soundproof, window handle was loosen, my window was right on the pool and outside terace, I coupd gear every noise, day and night. Good variety of food over breaksfast

Okayish rooms, WiFi was nearly non existent in the rooms. Beds for kids (horrible couch which kills everyone's back just coming close) and ours were very uncomfortable. What annoyed me the most was the room service

The neighborhood it's in is fairly quiet, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for. The nice thing about this is that I didn't hear a lot of street noise, even from our second story room

The experience at this hotel was amazing!! Right in the heart of the city so was easy to get around and see the sites. Our room was a great size, had an amazing view, and they even left cake for us

The hotel itself has a ground level and rooftop bar, but the rooftop bar is only open during summer months. Breakfast isn't free but this seems to be a standard practice among Spanish hotels

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay as there was lots of amazingly good tasting food and a large selection of items. Staff were incredibly helpful with anything we needed

The downside is that if you're looking for directly adjacent nightlife, you're going to be disappointed. However, a lively bar or restaurant is only a 5 minute walk away

The toiletries in the room are Bulgari, which are very good. There are also disposable products such as toothbrushes, combs, slippers, etc. that other hotels do not have. There is no problem of poor sound insulation

The Colon Hotel made our stay in Barcelona truly memorable! The location is absolutely unbeatable – right in the heart of the city, directly opposite the stunning Barcelona Cathedral

There are restaurants and a grocery store just steps away. But the best part for me was the Customer Service. They called a taxi for us, I left my phone in the taxi and I thought it was gone

It was clean and the room was soundproof. This helped so much as we have yappy terriers. There’s a nice restaurant in the hotel. The view from the balcony was beautiful

I called the hotel & they tracked down the driver and arranged to have it returned. Any time we needed anything, they were very attentive

I asked for a queen size bed and I got a twin beds bedroom. Breakfast was very average but the place is in prime location very close to Barcelona's football stadium, which for me was not the reason for the trip

The "inside restaurant" closes very early by Spanish standards (22:45) so bear that in mind if you're ariving late, as there is no bar in the hotel past that hour

Unfortunately there was no kettle/coffee available in the room

The lobby and elevators are mediocre but modern. The balcony could be a bit cleaner but is very big and has beach chairs as well as a good view. You’re able to see the beach from the 8th floor

At the reception, they were very flexible with our wishes regarding late checkout and extending the stay of the car in the garage

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times now and I already have my next stay booked! The rooms and clean and comfortable and the staff there have always been very friendly and professional, giving us advice on transportation etc

The hotel is in a great location, truly a superb location. The fact that they have their own garage was very important to us and we are sure that you cannot park a car anywhere in Barcelona for 16 euros/day
