Hotel Millor Sol

We stayed at the hotel in September. We liked the hotel, it is excellent for a 3-star hotel. Of course, the rooms are not the most modern, there was no kettle and refrigerator in the room. I would like to note the excellent breakfasts and dinners, the food is very varied. Very friendly and welcoming staff, especially Oxana. A wonderful hotel in this class. I recommend it.

Everything at this hotel is great! However the Snack Bar Menu is very. I ordered Gambas, the waiter returned to say unfortunately none available. I then ordered Chicken menu…he again returned to say the kitchen doesn’t have that too. I finally ordered a Serrano Tomato sandwich which was delicious. I’ve been here 12 days now. Today I thought I’d order what I knew was available. Can you believe it, my waiter returned and said unfortunately there is no Serrano anymore! I personally find that really the Cef is totally incompetent in his planning accordingly!🤮

I can only recommend Hotel Millor Sol, we had 4 nights in Calla Millor and are so happy with our choice. The hotel is a bit further away from all the other hotels, a bit away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The walk to the beach was about 7-10 mins which we really liked as we visited local supermarkets and restaurants on the way. The staff were exceptional, extremely helpful, courteous, attentive and all with a very authentic and friendly manner. We also rented bicycles from the hotel for two days and were able to explore Cala Bona and the coastal area up to Costa dels Pins, highly recommended. The breakfast had everything you needed and the pool was supervised the whole time. Outdoor area and the rooms were nice and clean. All in all, I can highly recommend the hotel.

Staying at millor Sol now. Been here for 4 weeks. Lovley hotel. Everyone of the staff here are fantastic from reception staff to bar staff and restaurant. Young girl in restaurant with plait is lovley and smiley Reception staff so polite and helpful every time you walk past they make a point of saying hello have a good day all with big smiles. The food is great with a wide selection at both breakfast and dinner. The pool area is lovely. No one running down putting towels on to reserve there sunbeds. Whatever time of day you can always get one. Bar staff are also really nice we kept asking them for ice ( as no fridge in rooms) and they always give it to us no problem The only negative thing ( apart from no fridge in room ) is the entertainment It’s not good at all. Finally got a chance to visit! My family used to stay here a lot during the 1980s, so I wanted to visit now too! We arrived very late at night as our transfer was quite long, but there was staff to check us straight in, very informative and told us everything we needed to know about the hotel. Our room was quite basic and dated but it was spotlessly clean and very functional. The bed was comfy but the pillows were too thin and the beds kept sliding apart as it was two singles pushed together. We had a great view of the pool and mountains from our balcony, and could also watch the entertainment from our balcony at night, which we loved too! The breakfast was included in our stay and was good, some different foods which I didn’t eat but there was a good selection of food and the apple juice was delicious! The staff were all very attentive, taking dirty plates away quickly and cleaning tab,Ed the minute they were empty. The snack bar was good too, quite reasonably priced and lots of choices and big portions too. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the Hotel restaurant during our stay. The car hire is great, with two companies to choose from, the hotel receptionist just rang our chosen car company, and they came the next day, and we got a great offer of 3 for 2 days so that was very handy too, there is quite a lot of on-site parking at the hotel which was good. The pool was great, plenty of sun beds to choose from throughout the day too, so we never had to worry about not getting a sun bed. They’re all close to the pool too which was handy, the pool was always cleaned every morning. The pool was a nice size too. The staff were all nice and helpful, especially Oxanda who was always smiley on reception and would always help with any issues if needed. The only issues were ants in our room, and the drain in the bathroom smelt a lot. Other than that, we had an excellent holiday, and would definitely come back!

We were worried about visiting with the recent reviews on here but our stay was the opposite of those. We honestly couldn’t fault anything. Our first floor room was a great size and excellently clean. (Housekeeping attended daily) We had no issues with noise Normally although half board we don’t eat much in the hotel however dined 4 of the 7 nights and had a good experience on all. All the staff were friendly and helpful Great location for walking to beach, shops, bars and restaurants Highly recommend, excellent value for money

❌ rooms need a refurb not great first impression our mirror had a crack, thin walls could hear our very noisy neighbours but fine with earplugs.
Buffet had lots of variety, read another recent review saying otherwise but they must have gone late because we were really impressed with variety. In Spanish theme night we had moules and fresh paella, made to order grilled steak and gambas and chicken fillets. Always variety of meat, veggies and carbs. Easy to eat a high protein balanced meal. Salad bar was great and we really enjoyed, we both have big appetites and felt very well fed. I found the desserts too sweet but was able to get fresh fruit and some very nice rice puddings and creme caramel.
Our room was so clean, the cleaners do an amazing job. Although room was basic it was clean and freshly painted. Sheets clean and towels lovely.
Shanelly Carrington the singer was so entertaining- talented and engaging we loved her!
I’d reccomend this hotel - we felt we did well to stay here on a modest budget. We were two friends sharing a twin room comfortably. Place wasn’t crawling with kids, there’s a modest entertainment provision but there’s other hotels about with more and slides and stuff so means this stays chill for those travelling without kiddies. Walking past other hotels we thought the pool at Millor Sol is really superior with its space and size.
Staff were friendly and attentive. We didn’t have drinks at dinner and had lovely chats and jokes with staff. Reception attentive and helpful. Thank you to all staff for a lovely 4 nights and if I come back to Cala Millor I’ll be back to Millor Sol and would reccomend it.
There is a large Aldi and bus terminal 7 minutes away.
