HSM Canarios Park

Great value hotel. We had a lovely holiday with the children here. If you arrive with you’re paying for a 3* hotel in mind you won’t have any issues, I think some people think they’re at a 5* when leaving negative reviews.
The food was lovely with lots to choose from, there was always something to eat and a good variety of meats. There was plenty to choose from with the drinks so no issues there. Lots of pools to choose from which was great with the kids, a lovely beach a walk away from the hotel and a park on the resort. The place was clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The hotel reception staff were great and very accommodating moving us room to one with a balcony upon request. My only issue with the hotel and our over all experience was the kids club staff, we found them to be very rude and some of the activities were at a charge, which is ok but if your don’t have cash there is no ATM on site. On our last day one of the kids club staff actually stood at the gate not letting anyone in unless they pay €10 for T-shirt making. There was no letting the children in just to play and not participate in the T-shirt making. I would have liked to of put 5* and resolved my issues at the hotel but unfortunately I didn’t have time to speak with reception before my bus arrived. All in all we had a very positive experience here.

Food lovely and lots of variety. Restaurant staff work really hard. It’s actual Pepsi Max provided at the bar and in the restaurant and is self serve. Pool at the back of hotel was warm which was great.. Room cleaned daily but I did get bitten by something. it would have been useful if they had provided with more explanations when checking in as didn’t realise the other pool was across the car park and the daily activities were shown on a screen near the stairs. Evening entertainment not the best.

1)Food & Drink
Food was great and the menu is changing every day during the week. Plenty of meals to choose from and we always found something good to eat. (There is plenty of space for improvement in the desert section and also in the way the restaurant operates) Food was always tasty and fresh and also the restaurant working hours are a big advantage (you will never stay hungry or miss a meal). Variety of drinks at the bar
Definitely worth it for the price and considering that this is a 3* hotel

2)Sometimes overcrowded
The hotel has a very big accommodation capacity (rooms and beds for people to sleep) but during my stay there is seems that the services ( restaurant and bars and entertainment stage area ) are struggling to keep up. Staff working hard to please everyone and seen customers become a bit wild and inconsiderate by blocking other people's view.

3) Just as a suggestion towards the management next to the entertainment stage I would say that you need a few Bug/Fly killer ( electrical device to eliminate the bugs)

4) Entertainment
Kids club/kids entertainment is absolutely amazing. The entertainment staff is great and the kids can have loads of fun and have plenty of activities suitable for all ages/genders.
Loads of activities and competitions for teenagers and adults as well.
Different shows every night after the mini disco and bingo.

I've seen a lot of areas that would need improvement and would help the hotel improve their customer service and improve the way the hotel operates and could be helpful. So in case any of the managers wants to get in touch just send me a private message and we can chat!

Arriving at the hotel we was met at reception by a very blunt receptionist! He gave us wristbands and a little information we needed and went to our room! He wasn’t the most welcoming but we knew what we needed and was with 2 tired toddlers so just went to our room! Room was basic and small but ok for sleep! Our first morning waited for the bus service to the beach waited more than 50 minutes (arrived 9.20) and first 2 mini buses was full and then the driver kicked us off the bus for people that spoke Spanish! Along with another family we complained at reception and the man there was great he phoned the driver and insisted we would be on the next bus, then another Spanish woman (she spoke Spanish) physically pushed me out of the way in order to get on the 3rd bus so that ruined our day but she even argued with the driver that she was more entitled than us for that bus even tho we had been waiting 50 minutes at this point! We was fed up really!
Food was basic but we all found something to eat everyday!
The adult entertainment staff were amazing and got everyone involved in activities everyday we didn’t take our children to kids club so can’t comment on that!
ALL the bar staff were also fantastic couldn’t be more friendly and helpful worked so hard all day I don’t have anything negative to say on bar staff and also the people in restaurant were fantastic polite and friendly!
Pools were lovely always found a sun lounger and parasol!

Overall had a great time!

For the price we paid for a week all inclusive this place was great.
Clean basic room, yes the restaurant is buffet but good selection of food varied each day chicken fresh fish lamb, burgers lovely deserts drinks fabulous staff who were all very polite and happy. Entertainment, again for what we paid I didn't expect something different on each night as well as activities on each day but there was👍
The beach is a little walk away so maybe take this into consideration for older people or families with buggies etc but you can also get a taxi into the town for 4 euros!

I think the people writing negative reviews about this place need to consider what is being offered for the cost. There was also red/ white wine on tap in the restaurant 👌I mean how much do you pay nowadays for just one glass!

Just got back from a 5 night stay with wife and 2 kids and for a 3 star hotel it's really good value for money. The food was good the staff were brilliant and really helpful and the entrainment was really good to. A couple of things that could be improved would be a bit more variation with the food as it was pretty much the same every day and the rooms especially the showers need to be updated. All in all though I've stayed in worse 4 stars so really good for the money

Highly recommended. Plenty of beautifull spaces to visit not far from hotel. Good food. Lovely desserts. Clean rooms. Beautifull sea view. Tasty drinks. For kids absolutely Heaven! Evening shows great. Latino show was amazing. Kids clubs. Aqua gym. Everything get 5 stars from me.

Took my family here this week. GREAT hotel. Great room cleaned every fresh towels every day. Reception staff could not be more helpful very knowledgeable on the local area. There is a very small shop on site the woman that works in is very helpful and loves a sing and a dance. There are 3 pools at the hotel plenty of places to sit and relax. Bar staff on all 3 bars are amazing, with a good varity of drinks and cocktails. One restaurant onsite with a good choice of food and alot of seats and tables. The entertainment team are very good here the put on for kids and adults, always happy and cheerful. All in all a great place to stay. We will be coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
