Hotel has a massive problem with mosquitoes inside the hotel. Lots of people full of bites although many like myself wore repellent. Trying to have a drink in the bar at night was awful as we were constantly bombarded with mosquitoes. Even in the restaurant the mosquitoes were settling on the glasses and food. It was a good stay at the hotel, we didn't face any problems. The rooms are good, but the air conditioning doesn't work. If you have a room overlooking the highway, it will be difficult to open the balcony door to get some air in, as the air conditioning won't work because the cars will disturb you and make it difficult to sleep. The food was good and varied.

The experience you get from this hotel will fully depend on who you are. English will not have a great time. Spanish guest get better service. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel to ask about whether they had allergy lists above the food due to me and my daughter both having an allergy to peanuts, I never received a reply. We noticed the use of nuts on on certain foods but with no labelling at all...

hotel is in a quite part of cambrils with a lovely beach just a two minute walk away. the rooms was very clean and house keeping came every morning. wardrobe had plenty of space and beds were comfy. the food was okay. same food every day so did get a bit boring and chicken wasn’t always cooked fully. but i would go back again and did enjoy my stay.

We stayed for 2 days, but we were not happy with the shower, the water used to leak into the main room. And the the tea or coffee in the room was never refilled. The food choices in the restaurant was not great so we had food outside. But it was decent not the great experience.

Lovely hotel with fantastic facilities. The buffet breakfast was impressive with a wide choice. The hotel is bigger than we expected and the rooms were a little noisy but it was run well and we had no issues. It’s between Cambrils and Salou and you would need to walk 30mins. There are taxis/buses available either. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel, right beside the beach. We were given a room looking out on the pool area and the beach. Beautiful sea view. Lovely hotel mid way between Cambrils and Salou. We visited right at tge end of the season. We were half board. The reception tried to get us to pay extra to go full board because 'nothing outside the hotel was open' but don't be fooled as if you are happy to walk to Cambril there was plenty of choice! Excellent hotel, would very happily return some day. Awesome food, super nice service, room was great, slept well, also gym was nice. Great location next to a pharmacy and bus stop. 1 minute walk to the beach. My boyfriend and I stayed for a week at the end of September. For the most part the hotel was nice however there were a few instances that didn’t live up to standard and caused unnecessary stress. Its a lovely looking hotel. The bedroom was clean however I didnt like the idea of the single beds. We got a family room which had 2 single beds put together and one single bed which was separate. We absolutely LOVE the Augustus Hotel - this is the 2nd time we've been (and my Mum and Dad stayed over 30 years ago). it's perfect! I can't say anything wrong with it. Visited slightly out of season so our room wasn't fully equipped for self catering, so can't leave any review for that. Otherwise, fabulous. Lovely clean rooms, maid service was everyday. Pool is great with a lifeguard on duty. Food was spot on, so much choice and plenty of it.

It is a 3 start hotel but that's a bit of a stretch. The food is super boring and lacks variety. We stayed in a one bed apartment and were looking for a relaxing holiday. It has recently been refreshed. The sofa bed was very comfortable. However, the pool doesn't open until 11am, it is very noisy with the kids club activities. The kitchen isn't well stocked, not even a bottle opener. Breakfast was good. Apartment cleaned daily. Air conditioning was excellent.

I will give this place a 5 star rating because I have been there a few times and we really love the location, pool and animation team and some of the waiters and waitresses are great too and make your feel at home. Just had a budget week at this hotel half board. We absolutely can't knock it for what we paid. The hotel is central, it's clean, in fact the maids cleaned our room everyday and we must have got clean towels 4 times. Stayed here two nights and picked Mas Gallau only because it looked slightly better than the typical tourist hotels in Salou. Reality: it has virtually no facilities — no gym, no sauna, nothing. The staff was very attentive to all our needs. We arrived and there were some celebrations at the hotel. Some noise until midnight. The rest of the day, quiet. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious.

We had a very good stay, the room was spacious and the surroundings were very pleasant: very nice garden area, paddle tennis court, swimming pool and golf. Rich buffet breakfast and very well priced. Another positive point is that they leave you until 12 to leave the room on the day of departure.

Very friendly service. Typical Catalan food in an authentic setting. Upscale atmosphere. Prices are very fair considering the service and quality of the food, especially when you compare it with current German prices. The typical toasted bread with tomato is a must beforehand, and Mas Galau also serves an excellent homemade aioli.

We spent one night with family, very welcoming staff, spacious room but the hotel is a little dated and especially located next to the road...it's good for golfers but that's it. I find the price high for this hotel but hey there is a golf course hence the high room rate.

The General appearance of the Hotel was clean, stylish and had attention to safety. The room was clean and very pleasing to the eye. plenty of pillows and a well stocked bathroom. Shower cubicle was very roomy.

The hotel is a bit worn, but the room and bathroom were clean. Unfortunately, the mattress was very uncomfortable for me, with a dent in it. There's a large free parking lot just 3 minutes away. Breakfast was good and even available from 6:00 AM! Great!

When i arrived there was no one in the reception, the bar-straff was dealing with the matter of check-in. They acted confused and had no good system took a long time to get the room. Inside the room you heard everything from the neighbours and in the corridor. Not many hours sleep for the noice.

We have stayed here a few times, the rooms are comfortable and the staff friendly. Pretty much what you would expect from this class of hotel. The on house restaurant is a fast food place, not really our cup of tea, but of you like pizzas and burgers it is fine. Good breakfast.

Nice little hotel. Parking is quite difficult as there are no allocated areas, but for the price it's hard to beat. Staff friendly and reply to emails.

Even taking into consideration the hotel was quite small with very basic rooms. But important clean. For us the most important was the help of the people working at reception. You will be able to solve all with them.

We booked this hotel because it was not too far from Port Aventuara theme park. We also got chance to see this quiet little beautiful town with nice beaches and some great places to eat. Highly recommended. The owners were so helpful and suggested some good places to go to. An excellent stay here.
