We have enjoyed a really relaxing 2 week break at this lovely hotel. We are a family of 5 ( including 3 teenagers) and had 2 family junior suites which were really spacious and kept spotlessly clean. The grounds are perfectly maintained too. The airport transfer is really quick we were at the hotel in no time! There are two large pool areas - the entertainment happens around the splash park and the snack bar is here too. This is a couple of minutes walk from the sports pool over the bridge or through the path. Our daughter is a wheelchair user and we found the whole site to be perfectly accessible and there were several other wheelchair users there during our stay. Evening entertainment is varied and we particularly enjoyed the Queen tribute act which performs each week. We walked into Cambrils one evening and found it to be a lovely, vibrant town full of restaurants and bars. Apparently there is a little train that goes from the hotel. This is the nearest town to the hotel. The staff all work really hard and are very professional. The hotel runs like a well-oiled machine. Particularly, we would like to thank Paula & Adam in the restaurant as well as Ariana, Javi & Peter in the bar. The inflatables and water polo were very much enjoyed by our family and thanks to Valeria & the entertainment team. Be sure to make your reservation at the rooftop restaurant (the only à la carte which can be booked once per stay) at the beginning of your stay. We really enjoyed this special evening, the wonderful service and food. The food quality and choice in the main buffet restaurant is really good. The information about food contents could be better as our vegetarian daughter inadvertently chose two items during our stay which contained meat without it being detailed on the label. The hotel did seem to cater for gluten free diets which has its own area in the restaurant. We have also really enjoyed the beach front location of the hotel, both whilst in the restaurants and throughout the day, making frequent trips to have a dip in the sea! The family went out on the stand-up paddle boards and there are lots of other activities to try. There is such a range of ages and nationalities. We would highly recommend this hotel. It has something to offer for everyone.

Went on a weeks holiday with a family of 10 consisting of 6 adults, a 13 year old, 11 year old, 6 year old and an 8 month infant. Absolutely brilliant and would go back in a heart beat. Shuttle journey from the airport was very comfortable and short. Didn’t wait too long at reception and stayed in a Junior suite where cot bed was waiting and room very clean. Rooms were very spacious, air conditioned and nice balcony overlooking the grassed forecourt area. The restaurant and food was varied and fresh, the chicken was excellent every night! Plenty of high chairs and choice for kids. If I was forced to pick a slight niggle was the entertainment started at 10pm however still plenty to do and see. There were 2 particular staff who were super friendly but everyone wanting to help including the bar manager on a busy evening to come shift tables to suite our large party. We spent most of our time in the splash pool which was excellent for kids and plenty of shade for those wanting to stay out the sun! We were all inclusive so the sangria and Estella was used by the adults with options on Fanta’s, Coke zeros and ice cream for the kids. All food was fresh with kitchens open to front of house. Can’t wait to book again and go next year all being well.

Generally, it was 3 star experience.
Advantages: good cleaning service, buffet food was okay most of the time, hotel is located very close to the sea.
The biggest disadvantage is an “all inclusive”, it is definitely not comparable with Turkish all inclusive. First of all, visitors who paid for all inclusive are not getting anything in mini-bar, not even a water. You can get water from the bar from a water cooler, but you have to have your own bottle. Also, their “all inclusive” does not include a lot of drinks from the bar, and restaurant near the main bar and in front of the sea. The “all inclusive” ice cream is a joke, instead of the normal ice cream you are getting a smallest version of only 2 or 3 basic ice creams, for all other ones you need to pay. Also, the “snack bar” is located outside of the hotel, food itself was not too bad, but pretty basic, the area was very small and near the children’s swimming pool. For the beach towels you need to give 10€ deposit in cash, and if you want sun lounger with umbrella on the beach you need to pay 25€ for one day use. The hotel bar on the beach is also non “all inclusive”.
So, out of all hotel locations you only can use your all inclusive benefit in 2 bars and 1 “snack bar” + buffet.
Overall, hotel is not bad but not good.
Would only recommend to go there with option bed+breakfast, and pay for the rest meals and drinks. It will be cheaper and you will not feel like an outsider or beggar, going around the hotel asking where you can eat. Because that how we felt exactly.
P.S. Russian lady in the adults only bar was providing an amazing service and was very helpful and kind :)

We went as a family of 4 (14 being the youngest), all inclusive for 2 weeks in july. Hotel itself is right next to the "beach" and the option to beable to dine out with a view of the sea was definitely a huge bonus. Hotel was very clean and well kept, pools were cleaned daily plenty of space and no fighting for sunbeds. However the down sides.... this is the first that we experienced the unfriendliness that i have heard about in spain I would say this is the cambrills area not spain in general! some of the evening bar staff were lovely however most were fairly rude almost like they were told not to interact with the guests. Attempted to speak spanish all be it limited which wasnt recieved very well and the staff only spoke english to us regardless of us continuing to try and make the effort. On arrival we were asked if we had been there before we said we hadnt and were then just handed a map of the hotel! Nothing was made clear to us what was included in the all inclusive, there was no snacks other than crisps and mini cornetto or twister lollipop which we thought was odd. After 5 days we were told by another guest about the splash park next door (open 10-8) which is where you got the snacks/food and " entertainment ". To be fair the food at the splash park was far better than the food in the main hotel. The restaurant food was cold, with a fairly limited choice considering the vast size of the hotel. The evening entertainment doesnt start until 10pm and lasts an hour, there was nothing in the run up to the main event. The beach outside the hotel is not a fluffy sandy beach more of a crushed shell sand (obviously not the hotels fault) The walk into cambrills is about 40 minutes, where there are alot of restaurants and shops a pleasant walk along the sea, but not a friendly atmosphere when you get there. Overall the hotel its self propbably deserves the 4* rating, the staff definitely not and the area is not one we will return to sadly it just wasnt for us.

Really surprised by the negative reviews here. The hotel was a lovely setting, so much space and never felt crowded even at peak times. Pools are beautiful and the lane swimming is respected by all and available for those wanted to use the pool to swim in. Buffets were plentiful and something for all. Nice touch to have a lower placed buffet so children can reach their own food. Immaculate rooms, mopped and serviced daily. Have nothing negative I could say at all about our week here with 3 children (7,10,14) Sangria is lovely and cold! Got my vote

Wife and I wanted a good value, week away somewhere warm. After trawling through various options, we elected to come to Cambrils on a Jet2 all-inclusive package. We were expecting the hotel to be clean, welcoming and satisfactory. I'm delighted to say our experience was far in excess of our own expectations. The hotel is immaculate. From reception, through the gardens, to the rooms and into the dining area, it's beautifully kept. Some reviewers will moan about having to cross the dry river bed to get to the eastern side of the property where the spa, children's pool and snack bar are. This did not impact us as a couple travelling. We spent our entire time by the adults only pool, which was quiet and the rules gently, but firmly enforced. Neither was there any evidence of 6am lounger grabbing or any loutish behaviour. We did notice that most of the guests seemed to be mainly Spanish, French and German with a few Scots and Irish thrown in sporadically. Our room was a standard double, ground floor by the adult pool. Not luxurious, but exceptionally clean, good sized bathroom, great shower and functional. I thought the bed was comfortable, Mrs. K did not, but then she likes our memory foam one at home and I don't. C'est la vie... I'm a fussy eater at the best of times, and I had doubts about the quality of what we were likely to be served at the buffet; not my favourite dining style. I have to say we were very impressed at the variety on offer, the very high quality produce and the organisation of it. Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food was superb. Our only issue was that we didn't like the coffee very much. That was it! :) We've already discussed going back. There's a recommended bike rental store up the road from the hotel, Cambrils town easily accessible on foot (25mins), bike (10 mins) and you can go all the way up to Salou, if you wish, as we did. Further afield, there are regular buses from Cambrils to Taragona and Port Aventura, and trains to Barcelona. There is also a boat that runs from Cambrils to Salou and various other water-borne activities are available. A great week away and would definitely go back. 10/10

Wow! This place had us blown away. We have stayed in many All inclusive hotels, some good and some shocking! I always go by reviews and this one paid off! The best hotel and best hospitality. Everyone has a friendly smile and goes above and beyond to make your stay. Super helpful and friendly! The resort itself is big! Lots of lovely areas and different pools. The spa and gym is great! Good sized gym with lots of equipment to vary different exercise’s you wish to do. The spa has a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cold plunge bucket. The view is incredible, out one gate and straight by the beach. The food also had us blown away! Such a variety to cater for all people (I can be very picky!) I’m not one for seafood but one night they had such a massive selection which made me wish that I liked it as it looked incredible. From blue crap, sea snails, prawns, shrimps, salmon, white fish and muscles! Amazing salad selection and even a great roast! We’ve had steak, gammon, chicken, lamb shanks and pork. Taxis are expensive this way and there isn’t much to explore around. However, buses from the nearest town (Cambrils - 30min walk) are every ten minutes and can take you to Salou (€2.15) or Tarragona (€3.40) They also go other places but those were the ones we went too as Tarragona is big and has lots of Roman history to explore. All inclusive was the best thing we ended up doing! The menu is big and I was surprised to see branded alcohol available! I will add the photo of the menu. Green dots mean all inclusive and red means we get 20% off that selected drink. The rooms are lovely and big, clean and the housekeeping staff have kept it cleaned and topped up every day! 10/10 experience and will definitely be back again! Our ages: 29 and 28.

This hotel deserves to be upgraded to a five star! I have never been to a hotel where the buffet food is so good. The variety is amazing and you are offered the best quality cooked menu. Apart from this the snack bars are fabulous! My daughter and I used to go have breakfast, I would generally have fruit, a yoghurt and perhaps some cheeses. Jo would have the cooked breakfast which included a variety of sausage, cooked tomato, beans, fried, scrambled or omelette for eggs. Around one we’d walk to the beach cafe which again offered a variety of well cooked foods. I loved the seasoned half chicken with some salad where as jo would have the homemade burgers and chips. One day I had salmon and an avocado salad. It was delicious. There are a few beautiful beach areas to to enjoy. They were just putting up the umbrellas when we were there so this is going to look lovely once the season opens. A variety of waterspouts available at a cost next to the beach bar. The bedrooms are spotless spacious and modern. The shower cubicles are huge and there is both a rain shower and a hand held shower. Entertainment was good, a variety of different acts. Staff were top notch we loved them all and there are countless members of staff to name ! All incredibly hard working and would bend over backwards to help you. The grounds if the hotels were breathtaking with olive trees and wisteria arches to name a few. We were out of season but I can only imagine how beautiful these would be in bloom. Pool areas again a variety with free Bali beds!! Yes free Bali beds if you wanted one and are lucky enough to get one. The indoor pool is lovely but you need to wear a swimming cap. €3 available at the reception. Great gym and also different classes eg spinning if you’re that way inclined Everything spotless and they cleverly cordon off the areas so there’s no reserving beds at 7 o clock Situated on the far end of cambrils you can take a leisurely stroll into this beautiful town. It’s about a half hour gentle walk. But not taxing and all in the flat. You can get a bus into salou if you fancy a change of scenery and the bus stop is located at the furthest end of the harbour. It’s €2.50 for a bus ride or you can buy a pass for €10.50 from the Bus Plana shop across the road from the bus stop. Added little extras are things like just tapping your room key at the dinner hall , none of this looking for your name on a register. Obviously the way try cordon off the pool do there’s no reserving beds which is my pet hate as it leads to annoyance! Ok there are one or two things that could be better. Firstly there should be welcome trays of drinks on arrival. When you’ve been travelling you are usually so thirsty and thus would add to your welcome. Secondly saddly the shower, shampoo dispenser in the bathroom hardly allow you to get any product out. They would be much better with the upside down squeeze out bottles or addressing the ones they have as they were a waste of time. Thir

Absolutely fantastic resort. Rooms are modern & spotless, food is lovely & varied, and the staff are great - nothing is too much bother, they're cheery and make you feel so welcome.

The bar staff in particular were exceptional - especially with my little boy. He said to me during our 3rd stay "They're my friends. They really look after me!"

Would highly recommend this resort. Although in a quiet location, the resort provides all you need - several swimming pools, large grounds and a beachfront location.

We will definitely return many times again over the years I would think! 😊

Rooms are a very nice size with plenty of room for our family of 4.
Staff are fantastic throughout the hotel.
Location is close to the airport that transfer was very quick. Hotel on the beach which was ok but not great. Cab to portaventura theme park was only 20 minutes and cost about 35€.
