BQ Can Picafort Hotel

We have had a very nice 12 night stay (2 adults and 1 10 Yr old girl). Excellent buffet breakfast with staff that clearly work very hard. We ate out most days but had the evening buffet twice which was very good. The location is a 2 min walk from the beach however this section of the beach is overcrowded in the summer. We had a hire car which meant we could drive 2km to a quieter section of the same beach. The rooms are good and very quiet at night - we all slept very well.

The front desk staff were helpful and efficient however rarely smiled - I am certain this is due to how busy and stressed they all seemed and tired from a busy summer, we didn't take it personally.

The guests at the hotel and Can Picafort itself is predominantly German- If you are a British family with kids and looking to meet other British families then Can Picafort may not be the best fit for you.

Overall we three made our own fun and had a great holiday and the standards of the hotel were very high and good value.

Had a great holiday in BQ Can Picafort, was really close to the lovely sandy beach and clean and warm sea. The only 2 minuses were: no kettle and caps to make your own tea/coffee and the mini fridge was not cooling that much, if you put in cold drink it would keep it sort of cold, but it won't cool a room temperature drink for you. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Reception is happy to give you parasols for the beach for free, which was great.

This was a really lovely hotel which is conveniently located to the bus from the airport, a great supermarket, the main shopping/entertainment district and access to many beaches. Everything was easily accessible within a few minutes walk, while also located on a quiet street to avoid the general noise that comes with the nightlife on the strip. Staff were all friendly, particularly the restaurant servers who were always smiling, warm/welcoming and attentive. For amenities, there were two pools in two different buildings, two cafes which you could leisurely relax and work, and an excellent restaurant for elective half board of buffet breakfast (8am-1030am) and dinner (630pm-900pm) with drinks at an additional cost. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay here for accessibility; however, the only notable item for me was just the conjoining rooms that we had to be more mindful of how noise may travel. Otherwise it was lovely and comfortable with your own patio and view.

The hotel met our expectations. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly, the pools are nice and clean. The position of the hotel is also excellent, only 200m to the excellent beach, shops and restaurants.
Disadvantages: pool open only until 6pm, no kettle for water in the room and a safe which is charged extra (this should be a standard service).

Just had an excellent 5 days here. Staff were great and very friendly, even encouraging my attempts to practice my Spanish on them.
The buffet breakfast has great variety and the evening buffet is very good value.
One small issue I have the pool hours of 10am-6pm could be extended an hour each side for those who don't like sitting on the beach, no matter how beautiful they are.

The BQ is situated in a central location within the fantastic little resort of Ca'n Picafort. It is only a couple of streets back from the promenade and beach but enough out of the busy flow to get some peace. The reception area is bright and breezy, with relaxed seating areas, which are often busy with guests using the free WiFi, which unfortunately is restricted to the reception area. There are 2 lifts and a central staircase to the upper floors. Bedrooms either face the pool area or the street and are 'compact' in size. Don't get me wrong, the rooms are great with TV, balcony and a well equipped bathroom. The rooms are serviced every day. Our stay was half board and it was my first experience of that. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Buffet style with an additional grilling station where you food is prepared in front of you. There was a huge choice of food - though drinks were chargeable. Finally, the hotel has two pool areas - one at the main hotel aimed mainly at the adults and another across the street aimed at families and kids. Both have snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Beautiful hotel. So bright and clean. Service brilliant. Staff so friendly. Would definitely come back again.

Spotlessly clean. Very helpful friendly staff. Food was plentiful and good quality. We had 3 rooms and all clean and roomy. We were on a cycling holiday. The hotel has a bike store room with tool station and wash. We could not find any fault with the hotel.

Day 2 and loving it. The variety of food at the buffet as quite tasty. The pools are clean and I enjoyed the aqua aerobics. Can't wait to see what day 3 brings.
