Playa Park Zensation in Corralejo

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday. As a family of 3 generations we all found the hotel to be great. For myself in particular as a Coeliac I found the hotel to be exceptional. From my first contact with the restaurant staff it appeared that everyone was aware of my situation. There was always a good selection of food at every meal for me. The staff were all quite knowledgeable of the requirements and the need to avoid cross contamination. I was also pleased that there was gluten free beer available at every bar! Overall our experience was brilliant and would thoroughly recommend, especially for those who are gluten free.

This is our 2nd visit here, the last being just a year ago and we couldn’t wait to come back. Friendliest, and most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered. Genuinely lovely people. Hotel is really clean and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of areas to relax in and out of the sun. Pool area is big enough to not feel too crowded. Roof top infinity pool and bar definitely worth a visit. Location is perfect, you can walk to Beach and centre but it’s far enough away to not be too noisy. As a single mum I feel very safe here. Food was delicious and would do all inclusive every time. Enough variety for everyone and they do switch it up - Italian, Asian etc. The drinks were also decent quality unlike other all inclusive places I’ve been. All in all, this is one our favourite hotels and we will definitely be back. My teenage son was happy to explore on the Hoppy electric scooters and the pool area, shops and beach provided more than enough entertainment for my 20 year old daughter and I.

We chose Playa Park as a 5 day holiday in May and we’ve really enjoyed it, upon arrival we had been upgraded to the rooftop pool which has been nice, although the main pool has been quiet and we’ve always been able to get good sun beds by the pool. Not many are reserved in the morning. We have thoroughly enjoyed the food, if you are a picky eater I wouldn’t recommend as much, but me and my partner are not so we have enjoyed the selection and the food is tasty. The drinks selection is brilliant, lots of selection and branded drinks such as proper Fanta and real Coca Cola. The pool was cold but that can’t be helped, once you’re in it was lovely. The room has been cleaned every day, fresh bedsheets and fresh towels and the room has always smelt lovely when we’ve returned. Aesthetics of the hotel are beautiful, really nice and clean hotel. Lifeguards on duty regularly. Entertainment GREAT we’ve had a right laugh, karaoke, acrobatics show, and more. Staff are so kind and nice to chat to, we have had Iszabella as our rep for our stay and she’s lovely and funny. The sun shines on the sunbeds so it’s nice and hot always. There’s pool tables and ping pong which we had fun, my partner agrees that this has been a lovely hotel and we would return. A few mini marts nearby for snacks such a Hiperdino which we enjoyed visiting. Beach 15 minute walk. Overall would recommend Playa Park we’ve had a great stay and have nothing bad to say about the place

Just home after 6 nights here with my adult daughter. It was lovely . All staff friendly and helpful. Super clean - rooms done every day. Yes some sad people do reserve sun beds v early then don’t use for ages but there were always beds available throughout the day. Pool towels provided at a cost of 11€ but you get 10€ back when return. And yes have to give room number when order drink or go restaurant - not exactly a hardship Food good quality and variety. some shops and bars 5 mins away . Market Sunday and Thursday . Would recommend this hotel

Stayed in the zensation block, rooms are really lovely, hotel very clean, good choice of food with themed nights. The spa is lovely and the massages are well worth it, rooftop pool and bar a lovely quiet area to relax, evening entertainment different each night and wasn’t bad a good time had if you don’t want to leave the hotel in the evening, I would recommend this hotel

We could not fault this hotel. From check in to check out, it was amazing. The staff were outstanding, especially a couple in the pool bar in the evening. The food was very good in the main restaurant breakfast being our favourite. We took the wine from the pool bar into the restaurant as preferred it, it was still part of the package. There were water stations in both areas. We had a standard double, which was spacious and was cleaned daily. Lovely balcony. Pool area got quite busy in the mornings. We went for walks in the morning, into the dunes and the coastal walk around the town. Location was perfect. On our return, we managed to get beds further away from the pool bar on the grass area. Had to pay a euro for your towel and would recommend towel clips. The hotel was so clean, from the frontage to the whole of the inside. We will be back. Thank you all.

Hotel room was clean, with the best shower I’ve ever had on holiday and a lovely colour scheme. We had a terrace room opposite the kids pool. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice both sweet and savoury. Dinner was a big letdown though, food was generally bland and lukewarm although again a lot of choice and being able to help yourself to wine, beer or a soft drink was great touch. It’s a great spot and a nice walk to town or the beach. We got out every day for a nice walk.

Location:I really wasn’t sure where to stay - on the beach which is way out of town or in the town- eventually I decided midway at the Playa Park Zenzation. Nearby is a bus stop that takes you to the beach/ dunes by the RUI hotels 1 euro 40- this beach is stunning , especially if you keep walking along further away from the hotels. About 5 minutes walk from Playa Zenzation there is a lovely square full of shops which has frequent market stalls.The main area of Corralejo is about a 20 minutes walk, or a 7 euro taxi.The town is long with lots of different separated small beaches.The shops include big stores such as Mango,Spar,Skechers as well as some of the normal tourist stores, lots of restaurants and some nice shopping centres.At the end is a marina where a variety of boat trips can be organised. Hotel: The hotel doesn’t look much from the outside as it seems to be in the middle of nowhere but once you’re in it’s very modern and clean.Rooms surround the main pools - a large one ( which was v cold) a medium pool ( heated) - suitable for adults and children, and a tiny splash pool for little kids. There is also a hot tub.The pool area is immaculately cared for by staff. I upgraded to the newest building/ block and the room was excellent - it had a fridge and a kettle ( which the other rooms don’t) .Staying in this block also allowed access to a rooftop infinity pool (which was very cold) and to a separate bar and levels of loungers- well worth paying the extra if you want to avoid the masses (plus it wasn’t very suitable for kids so was lovely and quiet). Sun loungers downstairs and upstairs were plentiful.The majority of people there were middle aged or older with just a few children. Food: the staff did a fabulous job of providing a mass / variety of food for everyone- this included drinks eg Coke, wine ,coffee.The premier restaurant was part of my upgrade (just one evening though)- a real treat -you ordered from the chef as well as choosing food eg I got a steak to go with the other food.The downstairs bar was well used and popular but very quiet. Facilities: Day/ night entertainment- low key/ optional. Spa - lovely spa - really relaxing/ reasonable price- there is a choice of massage/ treatments too ( my favourite part of the trip).

Had a lovely week here. The staff couldn’t have done more. Despite the language barrier for some the humour shined through. Stunning view from roof top pool, rooms were cleaned everyday, food was outstanding with lots to choose from and when I booked in for a massage they gave me a fluffy white robe and slippers!! Nice touch zensational!! The ambiance of the whole place was chilled and friendly. Great shops and waterfront restaurants not too far away. Would definitely go here again. 🥰
