Overall, this hotel is deserving of its 5 star rating. Gorgeous design, absolutely spotless and staff are incredibly friendly. The poolside waiter service is fantastic, as well as the other bars in the evening. I have never seen a hotel so clean and so well put together. My ONLY small complaint, is that the Air conditioning in the rooms isn’t good enough. I am aware of the laws that exist for energy saving, however our AC was kept on 24/7 and our room struggled to go below 24C. This could have been our specific room however. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Although the hotel looks very nice and in a good location when it comes down to services it should have been a -1 star ranking. On our last day we were missing some items from our room. After a good search by ourselves and also the staff of the hotel we left the hotel without these items (e-reader and SIM cards) We also informed the staff and reception we had a very bad feeling about this matter and found it hard to leave with this uncomfortable feeling. Now after 2,5 months we were informed that they found the items in the safe deposit in our room which we and the staff looked in multiple times. We were very happy although we found it strange that only after 2,5 months the items all of a sudden showed up in the safe we checked multiple times just like the staff. This implicates that the room was not used for at least 2,5 months which is very unlikely. On top of this the hotel wants to charge us a fee for retuning the items by post. Now they are also accusing us of accusing them of theft which is not the case. We are only saying the same as the latter in our review.. Very very bad service that is the only thing we are accusing them off.

lava beach is an excellent resort. We throughly enjoyed our stay there last week. Thanks to Daniel and Christina for the very warm welcome, and to Laura for making sure everything was ok! The resort is clean, with beautifully manicured gardens. The choice of food at breakfast and dinner was excellent; including the vegetarian options. The hotel is very near the beach, we walked there and hired a sun lounger for the day-the water is pristine! Overall, a fantastic stay- one small grumble- our AC was rather slow and sluggish.

The hotel is not worth 5 stars. At first glance, it might seem like it is, and some services are indeed 5-star quality. But the overall feeling is more like 4 stars. Loud music in the evenings until late is allowed, but a child playing in the pool… that’s not! We asked the lifeguard if we could use an inflatable ring and were given permission, only to be told the next day by management that it was not allowed. Maybe that’s still understandable (we can go along with that), but even playing with a small ball wasn’t allowed, and on the last day we were even told that “playing” of any kind was not permitted!

The hotel isn’t just not child-friendly — it’s outright child unfriendly! They should position themselves as an adults-only hotel. Then we would have booked something else!

Such a shame, because this really put a damper on the joy of our vacation.

We had a wonderful time - we were here for a brief mini moon and the hotel was gorgeous. Really quiet location, lovely pool, loads of facilities.

Also, for an all inclusive, excellent food options. Different each day, felt very high spec, lovely drinks choices.

And everyone who worked there was just really lovely, we had a wonderful time and felt very treated. We’ve recommended to all our friends to go if they visit Lanzarote!

Beautiful place, very clean. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially in reception.
In my opinion a couple of issues let it down. One of these issues were the chairs, probably OK for men but not for a woman of 5ft 3. They looked aesthetically pleasing but not at all comfortable.
The other main issue was at dinner. I think in a 5 star hotel you shouldn't have to pay to have water at your table.
Dinner was a buffet service and there was plenty of choice but not necessarily things that went together. The chef that was cooking on the hot plate needed to be more friendly and cheerful, didn't speak much English and was very
sparing with his portions.
There was a lovely roof top bar with a great view but was only open on limited days which was a real shame, also no toilet which meant you needed to get in the lift to reception if you needed the loo.

The best hotel that we have stayed in Lanzarote and we have been coming for many years. The reception team are very professional and helpful, the breakfasts are exceptional, the rooms are srepotless and beautifully furnished, the gardens are delightful and the large heated pool is a joy to swim in. Well done!

A new, fresh, beautiful hotel, very well positioned in front of the beach. The staff was extremely friendly. Great pool area, and a very clean place to stay altogether.

A few things though: I am French and so are my parents who joined me and stayed at the hotel. I speak English and Spanish, but my parents don't and we would have appreciated menus and general info provided in French as well as other languages.

We had dinner at the Aroma restaurant, and I don't recommend it. We could only order the tasting menu, which consisted in a lot of small dishes. No problem with that, but there was too much time waiting between each course, and also, a small portion of food should be mind-blowing, but sadly, it wasn't. It was a lot of money for the quality of food provided.
The waiter was lovely tough.

Last thing: The live music in the evenings was great. Good acts. However, once the live shows were over, we would have appreciated a more "chilled" type of music played in the background afterwards.
Not pop and rock hits blasting, but something more smooth and sophisticated to finish our drinks and evening in style.

Nothing is perfect, but it can always improve. All in all, a very good place to stay, and an enjoyable week at Lava Beach.

Lovely 4 night stay in a premier room overlooking the sea. Fantastic facilities and food was great. Convenient for the airport. Impeccably clean. Good gym with mini golf and padel tennis too.
