Hostal Mar y Huerta Hotel

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect as usually go for 4 star hotels etc . Arrived slightly earlier than the stated check in time but the friendly lady on reception said our room was ready which was good . We had a good room based on the 3rd floor overlooking the street but also had a view of the sea which was nice . The sun shines on the balcony until the afternoon so good for seeing the sunrise . The room was clean as was the rest of the place . Good tv in the room with English channels and decent aircon . Only one plug socket in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. All staff we encountered were polite and friendly : Bar staff, reception and cleaners . They did happy hour in the bar each night 9-10 and some nights do a quiz which is fun. We were bed and breakfast and only went once as the time is fairly limited to 8:30-10am We weren’t that keen on the food but easy to find places locally to get a later breakfast. We didn’t use the pool but it didn’t seem that busy. Location is excellent and a short walk to the beach and there is a shop over the road. Bus stop across the road. We Would return.

Just home after a 5 night stay and it was our first time too. It was just me and my mum and we both loved the hotel. There was nothing to fault. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing and the pool area has a great vibe. Unfortunately on our last few days of our holiday took a bad turn. I fell ill and I have an awful cough. It got that bad I had to go to the doctors beside as I couldn’t wait till I got home. It turned out I have an infection in my throat and trachea. We put it down to the air-con at first. But a family member of ours stayed here last month and also came down with the exact same illness that I have. It was a coincidence that I happened to fall ill whilst here too just like her. A few others we chatted to complained of coughing and loosing their voice. It has concerned me and my mum. We both now don’t want to return as we fear of getting ill like this again. I have been to many places with air-con and I have never experienced this.

Where to start? This hotel is faultless.bvery modern, cosy well decorated, very clean. Everything about it is stunning. The restaurant for breakfast, the bar, the pool, the views, the rooms, lounges at reception. It is right in the centre if everything . On the beachfront. Lovely balconies . Supermarkets, shops all around as well as bars and restaurants all along the beach and waterfront. All with stunning views. Even a Tribute bar with acts every night! Boat ferries to 6 other resorts/playa. Glass Bottom Boat that goes to other bays. Brilliant bus service with Bus stop outside to Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town. Buses every 20 minutes. Highly recommend this hotel. 😄

great value for money.

The room was clean, spacious and practical, the view is just stunning. Bathroom was ok, has everything it needs, the bed was ok too. Bit noisy in the hallway with people leaving but that didn't bother me, just listen to the little birds outside and you'll be fine

Fantastic little place, spotlessly clean, rooms are good, we asked for a seaview room and the view will take some beating. We could watch the sunrise with a coffee from bed. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff are all very helpful. We have booked to return.

Perfect location staff first class everyone was so helpful the breakfast had lots of choice. Only negative the rooms were very small and dated but very clean would definitely go to this hotel again.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff and service. This is a little gem of a find and definitely worth 3 stars not 2. We had a family room, which featured two bedrooms with 5 single beds, TV's and Aircon, a dining room with a table and chairs then two bathrooms with toilets, sinks and showers, one with a bath. the room was very well presented and clean. Breakfast was included and was fresh, hot and delicious, plenty of choice the chef is English and was very friendly. Lovely pool area which isn't massive but clean with sufficient sunbeds and parasols. Small park area and a lovely well stocked, friendly and reasonably priced bar. Food on the daytime is well priced and delicious with a good choice. location wise the beach is a few footsteps away, the taxi rank/bus a few more in the opposite direction. Plenty of restaurants and bars on offer and a delicious ice cream café just outside the reception of the hotel. Book this place for a family friendly relaxing holiday! The only gripe is the beds could be a little softer.
