Riu La Mola Hotel

Everything about our stay was excellent from start to finish. We stayed for 5 nights. We were in a double room on floor 2. The room was decorated very nicely with new modern decor. The room was very clean and cleaned very well everyday. There was everything in the room we required including a fridge and terrace with partial sea view. Only negatives about the room was that I couldn’t connect the TV to my account and water leaked all over the bathroom floor from the shower. The food at the hotel was again excellent with a wide variety for breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant. We visited both the Al a carte restaurants and both were excellent in terms of food and service from the staff. The Krystal restaurant in particular was superb. It was the best meal I have experienced in many years. The pools were very good especially the one next to the beach with good sun beds and spectacular views. So nice to be able to just walk onto the beach. The pool bar was again good however there was sometimes a long wait for table service however the food and drinks were good and good value for money. The evening entertainment was aimed at families which was ok but I would have liked some more adult entertainment such as more singers, musicians etc. Again sometimes wait to be served by the waiters. I must say that every member of staff was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Love the place, we always have. And now it’s even just a little bit better. Even all the tiling has been replaced with a much nicer finish and cooler surface. Food was outstanding and was always struggling to fit a bit of everything on plate. Couldn’t choose ! Staff are always soooo nice and really make it too notch ! Been going for over 12 years now.

A fabulous one week stay. We could not fault anything ! The food was superb, the staff were so friendly, rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. Thank you Riu Palace La Mola for a wonderful stay.

We have had the best time . The hotel is beautiful , very clean and new and they’ve done a great job with the refurbishment . We chose a bungalow which was lovely , unique and quiet . The reception staff were excellent and the app worked great booking the restaurants which were great for a different variety and view . Felt very rested .

Very good hotel. Nice facility and design. Amazing food, all fresh and very tasty. I like that it wasn't a lot entertainment, only some around swimming pool. Aqua gym was amazing!

From check in all good .room wow. Best of everything, A/C working, also ceiling fan [perfect] bathroom with walk in shower ,flat screen tv set in wall. Bed hugh and comfy plus lots of pillows. Location on beach,but also 4 pools and lots of beds at pools and bali beds. Buffet breakfast and dinner great selection, u won't go hungry. Look after yourself for lunch. Only obersavation lots of stairs internally between buildings as its at different levels so if u can't handle stairs u got a problem.but there are lifts in all buildings ,but we used the road at side of hotel ,it's easier than stairs.

We absoulutely loved our stay at RIU La Mola. They had great entertainment for kids and food was amazing, we were spoiled for choice. The swimming pool and other facilities were really good too, and very handy to have the hotel at the beach front. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Wish it was a longer trip.

We stayed at the RIU Palace Formentera for 2 nights in April and it was absolute bliss. We treated ourselves to a bungalow right in the centre of the resort – it was definitely worth the extra money. Not only did it come with its own private pool, but we were also the very first guests to stay in the newly refurbished room after the resort’s winter renovation! While a couple of minor things were missing (no tea/coffee/sugar on arrival, a kettle wire tucked behind a unit, and the shower boiler hadn’t yet been switched on), it honestly didn’t matter to us at all – the room was pristine, modern, and full of that brand-new freshness. And the RIU app is absolutely brilliant! You can request housekeeping, maintenance, or anything else directly through it and the response time is impressively quick. You even get live updates, access to menus, wine lists, the activity schedule, and can book restaurants right from your phone. Speaking of restaurants – Krystal is a must-visit! It’s included in your stay (one visit per stay) and was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Elegant menu, exceptional service, and a beautiful setting. The buffet restaurant also exceeded all expectations – probably the best buffet dinner I’ve ever had. Incredible meats, multiple sauces, fresh salads, grilled options… it was like fine dining in a buffet setting. The entire resort is immaculate – the recent refurb has taken it to another level. It feels stylish, upmarket, and serene. The views from the lower pool next to the beach are stunning, and there’s plenty of parking on site. The bungalow beds are huge and super comfortable, modern TVs in the room, high-quality toiletries, and drinks throughout the resort are both reasonably priced and well made. Breakfast was another highlight – such a wide variety, all fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Every single aspect of our stay felt relaxed, luxurious, and well thought-out. Highly, highly recommend this hotel. Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet, great food, or just a luxurious getaway, RIU Palace Formentera delivers. We’ll definitely be back!
