Occidental Fuengirola

A very nice hotel in good location. We walked everyday along the seafront with many restaurants and shops. Easy to walk into the main town 15/20 minutes. Stayed 6-11 December and booked a Junior Suite with sea views. Very nice with a separate lounge area and bedroom. TV in both rooms with English TV channels. We arrived early but were given an early check-in as our room was ready, which was much appreciated. It was our anniversary and the hotel arranged a complimentary bottle of cava and chocolate cake in our room, which was lovely. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was buffet and always a nice selection. Very good service in the breakfast and dining room. Thank you Hotel Occidental for a lovely holiday.

Just across from the beach we even swam in Nov hard to belive.

Great area to leave your clubs beside reception.

About 5 to 10 min away from lots of restaurants.
There's a market close by on Sundays too .

Really nice hotel right by the beach. Clean, modern with a friendly staff. Depending on which side of the hotel your room is on you can have great views of the sea, the mountains, or both! Only had breakfast at the hotel which was standard for European hotels. Some really great restaurants within walking distance.

Great location! We had deluxe rooms with a comfortable and spacious bed. My minuses would be the paid safe and the fact that the swimming towels are changed every three days. Less than that for a charge. In addition, better sunbeds cost 50 euros per day.

Our stay at Occidental Fuengirola was an absolutely fantastic experience! The location is excellent, practically on the beachfront, making it easy to enjoy the seaside and stunning views. With short distances to shopping, attractions, and public transport, like trains to Malaga, our travels were incredibly convenient.

The hotel service was top-notch, and every detail made our stay feel truly luxurious. Our room was clean and functional, with amazing air conditioning that was perfect for the 38-degree heat. The balcony was a definite plus, and the cleaning service was excellent throughout our stay.

The hotel's secluded courtyard offered great services and a beautiful environment, making it a pleasant place to relax. Food and drinks were available practically all day, and having a small bar by the pool was a nice touch. The pool bar food was delicious, and the service was mostly quick. There were plenty of sunbathing spots, but they were in high demand. If you want to secure a good spot by the pool, be early!

Our booking included only breakfast, which was an excellent start to the day. There was a wide variety of choices, and something for every taste.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel, very clean and all the staff were friendly, food and drink was great. The one criticism would be the we expected a slightly bigger room as we’d paid for a superior room. Overall though it’s a great hotel, ideal location if you want to walk into town , will definitely be back at the hotel next year .

2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. It is a comfortable modern hotel , situated on the seafront. It is well located for access to the centre of Fuengirola. Breakfasts were excellent. We went half board, but ate out half the time. Next time I would go bed and breakfast as Fuengirola has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Staff were professional and friendly. If we return to Fuengirola we would stay here again.
