I was unsure of what to expect from this hotel due to mixed reviews. Overall I found it excellent but I guess it depends on what you're after. The rooms are very spacious and modern with good storage, mini fridge, safe, cleaned daily, balcony with fantastic views (we had sea and mountain views being on the right hand side of the hotel). Only thing that could be improved is the mattress on the bed, both myself and my husband found them very hard though we did get more used to it as the week went on. The bathroom had a bath and overhead shower, a shelf underneath the sink would have been useful to store toiletries etc but other than that it was fine. Shampoo, shower gel and soap are provided as are little eco/essential packs which we thought were a fab idea! Contained toothbrush, razor, tissues, combs etc, little things that if you'd forgotten to pack could be really useful to see you through until you got to a supermarket. The hotel itself is fairly quiet, we're used to more lively hotels but honestly I appreciated the quietness of it. There are 2 pools and because they don't open until 10am (locked gates) there were always beds available, especially around the smaller pool and gardens. Entertainment was limited but the hotel is situated in such a great place that it was good to get out. It's a 3-4 minute walk down to the beach where there are a few bars and a couple of lovely chiringitos and a supermarket and other shops. There is also a small train station next door to the hotel with trains running every 20 minutes so you can jump on the train and go into fuengirola (only 2 stops away) and visit the marina and the old town and the other way the train goes as far as Malaga. The food in the hotel was really good, I'd read reviews about there being little variety etc but I found the opposite. Always plenty to choose from and so tasty, absolutely no complaints. We were half board a and you could alternate between lunch and dinner as you wished. Complimentary crisps were available at the pool bar with drinks and there is also a fresh water dispenser available. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel has 9 floors, we were on the 8th and there are only 2 smallish lifts to serve the whole hotel so it did mean that there were queues at the lifts at times and they did get extremely hot! There are 180 stairs upto the 8th floor so we used the stairs at times but only as much as our 4 year olds legs would manage. Overall, lovely relaxing holiday and I'd definitely return to this hotel/area.

We've just returned from a week at this hotel and have no complaints. The room was clean and spacious, with house keeping in every day. The safe was free to use. The food was lovely and there was always plenty of choice, even for my fussy eater. The snack bar food is great too ,and this is the first time crisps and nuts have been available on all inclusive. The selection of ice lollies/Ice cream is great too. The location of the hotel is perfect for the beach and for using the train, which was very easy to do, just tap on/off at each station.( smaller stations dont have barrier so remember to tap of on the platform before leaving the station). If you are coming up the hill to the hotel before 8pm, you can use the side gate, just need your room key to open it. Also good to mention, we ordered pack lunch for the 2 days we went out for the day. Order at reception by 6pm for the follow day. (They give you food and drinks to take) The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss but the resort itself is lovely for a walk in the evenings. Ive read about rude staff but every member of staff we encountered was polite and helpful. The restaurant and bar staff work extremely hard and were kind and helpful. Overall we had a great week ☺️

I returned, last week, from my third visit this year to this great hotel. Everything is still fantastic and I have already made two reservations for next year. The staff in all of the departments; Reception, Restaurant, Bars, Cleaning, Pool and Maintenance are all wonderful people who work really hard and tirelessly to provide a great service. They will always help you with a genuine smile. Rooms are spotlessly clean, modern and spacious with a good sized balcony, most, if not all, with a sea view. Safe, mini fridge and wifi are all included in the price. The food in the restaurant is delicious. The menu is varied and plentiful. Snacks like mini burgers, hot dogs and crisps/nuts are available to All inclusive guests outside of meal times during the day at the pool bar. Pizzas can be bought here too. I didn’t try any of the pool bar food because I was never hungry, having eaten the main meals. Both bars are well staffed. During busy periods I never waited more than one or two minutes to be served. Drinks with the All Inclusive package are good enough and include various cocktails, although not international brands, apart from the draught beer which is San Miguel. There is varied entertainment at both bars. During the day time there are pool games, aqua aerobics etc and in the evening there is a variety of acts in the main bar. i particularly enjoyed the Flamenco show. The gardens are well kept and there is plenty of space, particularly at the bottom pool, it’s a bit more crowded at the top pool by the bar. I always managed to get a lounger and I never joined the usual queue that starts before the pool opening time. For me, the hotel’s location is ideal. It is in a quiet, mainly residential area. The local train stop is just behind the hotel for travelling to Fuengirola one way or as far as Malaga Central the other way. The hotel is located on a hill, easy on the way down to the beach and shops, bars and restaurants (about 5 minutes), but uphill on the return trip. I’m a pensioner and I had no problems on the return trip. I certainly have no complaints. I only wish that the hotel opened in the winter season. My sincere thanks again to all of the wonderful, hard working genuine and friendly staff who made me feel so welcome and gave me a truly wonderful holiday.

A fair review of a reasonably priced hotel. I would give this hotel a 3 star plus rating. We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions the first before the rooms were upgraded. Firstly please compare the price of this hotel to others before putting scathing remarks on TripAdvisor. This hotel can work out cheaper than many self catering options. The hotel has lovely grounds with lawned areas for sunbathing, beds are spaced out. In high season, just like any other hotel beds are more difficult to obtain, particularly if you have a favourite spot. There are 2 swimming pools the top pool is used for activities. The staff are very helpful, we have never come across rude staff on any of our visits. Reception staff will always try to rectify any issues and we have always found them very helpful when ordering taxis or asking for information. On one occasion late at night, the gentleman on reception came to our landing, after several reports of noise it was sorted immediately. The hotel is typically Spanish in decor, the restaurant still uses white table cloths which we haven't had in any other hotels along the coast from Fuengirola to Torremolinos. However I will agree with reviews that state the food needs improving. Lunch always seems better than evening meal, our opinion only. You can change evening meal for lunch with no notice. But please bring back fresh cheese and biscuits after dinner instead of just cheese in oil. Food can be cold, we have had the same problem in other hotels which have cost us half as much again. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the toilets near the restaurant are constantly being cleaned. The rooms are larger than many other hotels, no charge for a fridge or for the safe. Bring your own travel kettle or buy one if you like to make a hot drink. Regarding the locking of gates in some areas. It is Spanish law that pool areas cannot be opened unless there is a life guard on duty. The gates open approximately 10am to the pool areas, and they are closed early evening. The side gate to the road the hotel is situated on, closes at the same time. This is to comply with Spanish Law and stop guests having access to the pool areas when it is not in use. There are different rules in different areas of the Costa del Sol for certain things. There is an outside terrace area which is open all the time. The main entrance to the hotel is always open. The entertainment from what we have seen is typical hotel entertainment not the best but not the worse. We usually go to one of the bars near the hotel or sit outsude on the terrace. Overall the hotel is good value bearing in mind the cost of SC accommodation in the area. The hotel has fantastic access to the train station, we have never had problems regarding noise from the trains. The bus service is a short walk down the hill. It might not be the best location for wheelchair users as the approach is on a fairly steep incline. There are bars, cafes, shops and restaurants immed

We stayed at the hotel for a week with my wife. Check in at the reception only takes a couple of minutes, check out even less. All staff were friendly and helpful, we requested an extra pillow was not a problem. There is a buffet style service in the Restaurant , for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My wife has sever Ceoliac disease, but Antonio the Metre had taken a good care of us. He made sure she always had a nice variety of gluten free food. The buffet was great different each day ,the food was delicious, and restaurant was nice and clean . The only reason I'm not giving 5 star is because the rooms could use some updates . We had everything we need but there were let downs like the beds weren't the same height. Both chairs were wobbly, be careful in the bathroom the tiles are very slippery ! The walls are paper thin. There is no handle or knob on the balcony doors. You can clip it to close it but there is still a bit of wiggle room which makes the Air Con system shut down if the sensors aren't close enough to each other. All in all we enjoyed our stay and had a great time! The location is great too. 5 minutes to the beach , and the train stops behind the hotel if you want to visit nearby cities.

This hotel was a huge disappointment and in no way deserves its 4-star rating. From the moment we arrived, things felt off – and unfortunately, they only got worse. The food was awful: bland, repetitive, and often cold. There was very little variety, and the quality was poor throughout our stay. Dining felt more like a chore than a part of the holiday to enjoy. One of the most concerning issues was the lifeguard. He was completely disengaged – sitting with his headphones in, listening to music, and scrolling on his phone, totally unaware of what was happening in the pool. With young children swimming and playing, this level of negligence is unacceptable and could easily lead to a serious accident. It’s shocking that a hotel claiming to be family-friendly would tolerate this kind of behavior. The staff were generally rude and unapproachable. There was a noticeable lack of hospitality and no interest in making guests feel welcome. Any questions or concerns were met with attitude and dismissiveness. As for the hotel itself – it honestly felt more like a zoo than a resort. Gates and doors were locked throughout the property, only being opened at set times. Guests were herded around according to the hotel’s strict and bizarre rules. I’ve never experienced anything like it on a holiday, and it made the whole atmosphere feel controlled and uncomfortable. Evenings were dull and lifeless. No music, no entertainment, and certainly no atmosphere. It was as if they didn’t even try to offer anything for guests to enjoy once the sun went down. Overall, this hotel was a major letdown. Between the unsafe pool supervision, unwelcoming staff, poor food, and joyless environment, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. You’re not getting a 4-star experience here — not even close.

Really good hotel in a great location. Super clean , lovely food a whole variety so you won’t get hungry. Staff friendly and helpful. Beware you have to pay for your drinks when you’re full board which nobody tells you about. Other than that absolutely amazing, close to the beach , restaurants and supermarkets. Entertainment mainly bingo but lots of older people here and lights go off in the balcony at 10pm which didn’t bother us. Maybe more information about your stay would be good when you check in like what you’re entitled to etc.
26.04.2025
The room is large, facing the sea, with an outdoor swimming pool, performances in the evening, good breakfast, suitable for vacation, very convenient transportation, a small train station is a two-minute walk away, and the hotel is at the back door

Hotel - spotlessly clean Cleaners cleaned room everyday Always cleaning in communal areas Situated next to metro so easily accessible to explore other areas Situated on top of hill Would not recommend to those with mobility issues We struggled walking down and getting a taxi to return Rooms - the best I’ve stayed in. Huge. Two large beds. Two large built in wardrobes. Tv. Hair dryer. Walk in shower. Everything you need Only negative is the balcony chairs. Although thick, sturdy plastic, need upgrading. Pool - freezing but we were out of season I suppose. Plenty of space and sun lounger. Not sure how it would be in high season. Only main pool open Bar - pool bar closed but we were out of season. So was a bit of a trek up to main bar (especially if wet) Main bar - plenty of seats, drinks were good (all inclusive) most drinks (local brand) available, range of cocktails Entertainment - one animation team. She tried her best. More activities maybe in high season but very limited. Evening entertainment should be looked at. Same show twice in one week. Not the best. Food- what you expect for all inclusive. Choices should be varied throughout day. Most kept warm in oil. Antonio the head waiter took great care of me due to having allergies. Although more variety should be thought of for persons with allergies as I couldn’t eat from most main areas only the fresh cooking area. He gave me a lovely cheese and ham platter most evenings.
