Beach: public, sandy (Playa Centro) in 30 m from hotel (1st coastal line). On the beach umbrellas, chairs, mattresses: free. At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge. The beach is 5 km away.

This hotel has excellent staff. The rooms were clean and serviced every day with clean towels if you required them. The food was excellent quality, quantity and great variation, fresh fish from the grill every day. The bar staff were also very friendly and efficient with their service, tables were cleaned regularly and ashtrays were emptied. The area was great and the proximity to the station enabled travelling around very easy. Overall I would give it a 10/10. Well done Hotel SORRA D,or

I had a fantastic experience at the Ibersol Hotel. The location was perfect, right next to the railway station, making it easy to get around and travel to Barcelona. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I made a mistake with my reservation dates, the receptionist quickly resolved the issue for me without any hassle. The entire staff, including the restaurant staff and chefs, were attentive and friendly. The food options were outstanding, and I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with kids. My sincere thanks to everyone at the Ibersol Hotel.

Stayed here for 5 nights, rooms and hotel were very clean, with cleaners coming in everyday.
Clean pool and alot of seating, pool was a bit cold but that is just personal preference.
Food was amazing, always food availability, and good variety each day, dining area is clean and staff are on it, replenishing the buffet quickly.
Wish there was a kettle for tea/coffee in the room but there was a machine downstairs.
Only problem I had was that our cards kept resetting, they wouldn't get us into the room, I had to go down multiple times to get them reset, this was quite frustrating.
Area is good with lots of shops and right next to train station and beach.

In general the stay was good, the buffet with little variety but quality. The only thing to improve is the animation team because there was a boy who was always late to the activities,He took a lot of confidence with the clients in order to make meaningless jokes and for my taste he was too "affectionate" with the clients. Besides, I was surprised by the lack of attention when interacting with the clients at the level of inviting them to activities and in the club he only focused on playing music as if he were a DJ without dancing or doing choreography or anything. You asked for a song and I understand That he couldn't make all the requests, apart from that his attitude was very cocky (as if he didn't care about everything). What a difference from Carolina, She really knows how to interact with clients, at all times she made us feel at home and did enjoyable and fun activities. We will return for her

Excellent staff couldn’t do enough for us. Very clean throughout the entire hotel.
Bar staff were lovely & worked so hard every night.
Food choices were outstanding & restaurant staff & chefs very attentive.
The location is excellent with the quiet train on the doorstep to take you up & down the coast.

We travelled as a four my husband and I and my daughter and her boyfriend.
We were a little dubious after reading some of the reviews but were actually quite surprised.
Our transfer bus from the hotel dropped us a short walk away as I don't think there is anywhere to get close to the hotel but it is only a short walk. It also picked us up there. Just outside the splash hotel.
The rooms were acceptable, clean and the maid came every morning to make the bed and clean the bathroom. We were on the 4th floor and she came about 11am, she was happy to come in whilst we sat on the balcony.
The double beds are small and not the comfiest. Shower was always hot and had plenty of pressure. There's Netflix programmed on the TV and we were able to sign into our account.
We had two rooms one that overlooked the pool and one that over looked the sea. Rooms 411 and 412. The sea facing room had the sum on the balcony all day and the room facing the pool got it into the late evening. The balcony facing the sea are bigger than the balcony facing the pool and the view is fantastic.
The train station is just outside the hotel and is very convenient with trains running regularly. We visited Barcelona which is about 1hour 20 minutes away and costs just over 11euros return. Get off the stop after the main Barcelona one. Once in Barcelona we got an underground pass for 10 stops in zone 1 which was about 12 euros.
We also visited LLoret De Mar and Callela both costing around 5 euros. To get to Lioret DeMar you get of the train at Blanes and get a bus for 2euro60. Lots to do there for younger generation. There's some fast food restaurants. For Callela its a direct rain and has some shops and again a McDonalds if you were travelling with teenagers like we were. There is a few shops in Malgret De Mar and the walk down to the next town is not far.
The food at the hotel was repetitive and towards the end of the seven days became very boring and it was never hot just luke warm. We ate in a restaurant in the next town once and in McDonalds a couple of times.
All inclusive you have to pay for a beaker when you arrive to get your drinks in and you get this back at the end of your stay. 2 euro. The drinks on all inclusive are limited and the red wine is vile. The evening entertainment is music from a system and the only night there was entertainment of any kind it was so busy we couldn't see it. There's a pol table and a air hockey machine in the bar. A karaoke pub a short walk away.
All in all not a bad hotel for the money. The pool is not heated and none of us got into the water but it was May and the weather was not great all week. Contrary to what we had read the sun does get to the pool area for most of the day on the left side of the pool. We were always able to get a sunbed and if not the beach is just through the walkway under the rail tracks. There was no sunbeds on the beach but I was happy just laying on my towel.
Not a bad hotel for the money.

Great service, great food. No hassle, just enjoy what is.
The food there was really great and there was enough healthy choice. Even Halal options for different requirements.
All inclusive was used minimally as there was no need to drink alcohol. Also drinking from plastic cups was not that enjoyable experience. They were exchanged for tokens. Once you return the plastic cup, you will get the token back.
Being located next to the train station is a consideration of intervals of noise levels from incoming and outgoing trains that can also honk. Facing the seafront assures the noise experience but this may not be an issue.
Sorra d'Or is translated as Golden Sand. That's the name of the hotel.

First off, such rude bar staff! Couple rude people on reception too. Bar area you were made to feel unwelcome by staff and we were scolded for taking a coffee as we wasn't all inclusive, only half board! Food was awful, spent a lot of money eating elsewhere! Rooms were spotless and cleaners very polite and welcoming, the most welcoming of staff tbh! The shops are great, beach is beautiful but would never return to this hotel.

About rooms, It depends on where you get the room, you can stare at the high wall like you'r in prison or you will have a view on the Beach. In most cases, the rooms were clean, no kettle, means no tea or coffee, walls made of cardboard, you can hear everything around you and they can hear you so you have to whisper. Neighbors banged on each other's walls every night and knocked on each other's doors to keep it down even though no one was 'loud'. The STAFF is overwhelmed with work because they are Disorganized, so no one perceives you and they approach you with the attitude what do you want now, not helpful and some of them even RUDE. There's no way they're going to let you in anywhere a minute earlier than the allotted time, either in the room or in the restaurant. It was always to all of us something or broken like toilet, sef, balcony door or shower.. , or wrong room... AND ALL INCLUSIVE IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE first you have to pay 2€ pp on reception For the tokens Which one you give On the bar in exchange for a drink in a plastic cup,also in many cases you don't get that 2€ pp back because it's not written anywhere in computer Although you can't get token if you don't pay first, and you still have to pay for some of the drinks or coffee etc. Bar is working from 10:00 i think till 23:00 and when is And when it's exactly 11:00 p.m., there's no way you're going to get your last glass of drink, a refill even though you're sitting at the bar. Vladimir is the only guy at bar who was Smiling and cheerful and kind. The beach is very close and beautiful it is the only big plus. Food is OK, tasty, fish bony, lots of fresh fruit, cakes from Lidl like small muffins for example.
Pool freezing and too small. Don't walk alone at night and Be very careful of the pickpockets You won't know when or how, but they'll steal from you if you're not careful. My bag although They had nothing to take but bananas has been wide open three times in one day and it's never been opened in my entire life.

Room was very clean and being located by the train station was very handy. However, there is not much to do in the immediate area and the only entertainment in the hotel is a DJ in the night. The pool does not get any sun due to the position but the kids still had fun.
