I always judge hotels by what I pay. This worked out at 20-something Euros a night wirh an all-you-can-eat breakfast included.

With that in mind, this hotel is fantastic value for money. The decor is quite dated, but again for what we paid, I'm certainly not complaining.

There was an issue with our neighbours playing music very loud in the early hours. We called reception and they dealt with the issue immediately. Staff were fantastic tbf.

If you're expecting the Ritz at 20 euros a night, you're not being realistic. If you come with realistic expectations it's a fantastic hotel a stone-throw away from the beach.

We're already planning on coming back next year. We had a great time.

I went there for a week long all-inclusive holiday. It wasn't what we were expecting, to be honest.
Room was more like a hostel to be honest, damaged furniture balcony door was damaged and you couldn't lock the door, we had a tv in the room but no remote for it so couldn't use.. only to find out you needed to pay a deposit for one?
Rust in the bath damaged bathroom door, and the dividers on the balcony were had cracked glass,
Bedding wasn't changed for the whole week either, I stripped one of the beds after the second day only to find that they had put the same bedding back on when we returned! Apparentl, this is the normal here.

We didn't use the pool at the hotel at all as the beach was close, and most of the times the sunloungers had towels on them and the area didn't seem to get a lot of the sun,

Food, was basic at best. Nota lott of variety, and most was pretty bland and tasteless.

Drinks were good, but u need to
Pay 1 euro deposit for a single plastic cup 50cl, which you then bring back to get refilled, just seemed a bit of a faff to be honest.. cutting costs on using and cleaning glasses

Service, at front desk was very happy and welcoming and the women behind the bar were good aswell but the rest of the staff were miserable, not a smile among the lot, we asked for cutlery one day sitting in the restaurant at an empty table and a lady literally huffed at us as she stomped off to get some..

Overall the location made up for all the negative bits as loret de mar is beautiful and the beach is less than 5min walk from hotel.
I can see what this hotel is trying to be, a low budget hotel and keeping costs down, but for me I can't recommend it and I won't be staying here again.

Copacabana, got there early hours. Guy on reception great. Gave out door cards, and the directions. The reception area is nice. Went to our room. Oh dear, the lifts are big enough for four people (small). Hallway clean. Room, first lighting poor. Three single beds, two pushed together. Covers old worn through in spots. Can’t remember last time hotel room did not have, a fridge of some kind. TV, but have to hire a remote. Balcony tiny, staring at fire escape, that’s luck of the draw. The radiator, is from the 1960s school. Didn’t try aircon. The walls are rough in need of a paint, at the least. Oh yeah thin as tissue paper, could hear every cough and word , not just next door. The breakfast is the usual for a budget hotel. Under cooked bacon, sausage cooked on one side. There’s boiled eggs, scrambled which was nice. The usual meats and cheeses, for the continental, also lot of fruit. Only one cereal. One toaster, slowest I’ve ever seen. Didn’t try the two other meals. Other guests described as awful. Pool is small, about a dozen sun beds. The staff from reception to bar to cleaners are great. Oh yeah clip holding the shower head, which sprayed everywhere, was broken, bath very slippery. Was reported and nothing done. All in all, it’s a budget break, we’re hear for a week, to long. Two three days, would be enough. You get what you pay for, this is £30 or so a night. Would we come back, no. There’s much better in this lovely resort. Yeah decent walk to town and beach. All down hill. There is a sun trap outside, one side am, move round pm. All in just needs a referb. In the accommodation floors. Last winge all inclusive, beer in third of a pint cups. Think that’s terrible.

I'm going to preface this review with the assurance that I was aware this was a 3* hotel at the time of booking.

The staff were, by and large, very friendly especially the bar staff. We did notice a certain level of frostiness from the female reception staff. My travelling companion and I are both female and having spoken within other female guests, this seemed to be something of a pattern. The male reception staff were always eager to help us.

Upon entering the hotel, we noted that the communal areas and facilities were in good order and to the expected standard.

The check-in process was smooth, but, after entering the room, a number of issues and annoyances came to light.

Firstly, the room décor and furniture were dated and tired but the room was clean.

We had booked a double room however there was only one chair, bedside table, bin etc which made for some functional difficulties in using the room.

Furthermore, there was only two single sockets in the room. One of the sockets was faulty – this was reported to the hotel staff but nothing was done to remedy it during our stay. This lack of sockets made things very difficult, for example getting ready for a night out became a real chore as we were hot-swapping our various appliances and whatnot.

The walls were paper thin so be prepared to get to know your neighbours' business very well. The other patrons were a boisterous bunch, so was noisy 24/7.

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, leaving me with a sore back by night 3.

The balcony had no privacy, neighbours were easily visible through and round the screening.

We stayed on an all-inclusive basis – whilst I can't comment on the food on offer there was a good selection of drinks on though I and other guests suspected that the drinks were being watered down.

After 10 vodka and cokes I would expect to be feeling fairly merry, sadly not the case here.

Overall, whilst the hotel is not without issue – I'd say the room is more 2 star but the rest of the hotel is 3, I'd say the hotel is best suited to shorter stays for groups of young people. A week was too much and the issues I've mentioned above made for an uncomfortable stay.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Copacabana. The rooms are a little dated however they are cleaned every day with fresh towels provided every day. The food is good at breakfast. Dinner options are ok and the staff are great. Also it's a 5 minute walk to the beach

Hotel location is really good , only a couple minute walk to the beach. Rooms were very bland with super outdated furniture and need a desperate renovation. The bathrooms would flood and were mouldy and we also didn’t receive any soap or hand soap. There are also no hair dryers in the rooms, when we asked for one down in reception they had none. One major flaw was there was no mini fridge in the rooms so your not able to keep personal drinks and items cold especially in the heatwaves here . Food was pretty bland, very limited selection. Customer service was decent but didn’t notify you anything about times of food and the stay in general. Only positive overall was price of hotel and location but could do with a massive change in hotel rooms and food.

At the end of the day it's a budget hotel and for 35 euros a night with breakfast you can't expect much but please paint the rooms.
The staff were fantastic and so was the service.
The reception area is all marble and very nice and so is the bar area.
The restaurant serves the same food every day but is quite nice tasting.
The bar staff are very generous with the shots and they all speak good English.
Opposite the hotel is a tobacco shop that is very cheap.

hi!! i stayed here for 3 nights for my 18th birthday with my mum, and its safe to say we had no issues at the hotel. the location is beautiful, and inside i think its good for a standard hotel for a couple nights. the staff were really nice and friendly, and was very happy & positive. even sang ‘happy birthday’ to me at lunch & gave me a blanket when it was a bit cold on the first night. the dining area was nice & we had no problems with the food whatsoever. the food was lovely with the different ranges of food & the drinks we enjoyed too. one of the dining hosts was really cute too 🙈 the wifi worked perfectly fine. the rooms are very very basic, but its just a place to sleep & shower at the end of the day. the shower worked fine & the bathroom looked pleasant. gave us shampoo & a little bar of soap. the cleaner also comes in everyday to wipe & clean the bathroom, and also gives new towels everyday which was really nice. the view we had on our balcony was a really cute view of the street & its a lovely and peaceful walk from the hotel to the centre where there are stores & to the beach! thank you for making my birthday wonderful & thank you for the amazing stay!

In dire need of refurbishment. The rooms are clean and tidy. The food is pretty bad. Breakfast is a joke. Cold Boiled eggs, beans and a selection of cheese and meat. Also bread with a toaster. Evening meal not too bad. Stayed as part of an all male party so not too bothered as we only slept at the hotel. Would not recommend!

Quite a nice place, not far from the sea, lots of cafes and small shops around the area. Not far from the supermarket Mercadona.
