Our stay was most enjoyable. This was our 4th stay at the Riu Monica. We stayed for 3 weeks and we were well looked after. Wifi was free anywhere in the hotel. This property is beautifully located right on the beach. It is however a much older clientele. We felt out of place as two younger travelers. I would choose an airbnb that is near the city center if you are younger. The people that were enjoying the property looked very happy and the place is spotless!

Don't get corner room over the smoking area or you can't sit on balcony for fumes. Sun in morning for about sixty minutes if lucky. Bus service to Nerja very good. Staff are very good, food ok gets a bit repetitive after two weeks, it's value for the price paid.

Location is out of town but it's a lovely walk along the sea front or you can catch a bus which is only 1 euro. Taxis cost 8 euros. Staff are amazing. Food a bit bland but fresh and plentiful. Spa is brilliant, only 14 euros. The room service not great, they do the bare minimum. I would say more of a 3 star than 4. It's a bit remote, you really need a car. Local buses from downtown stop at 8.45pm.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Paid extra for a sea view room and loved it! Buffet pretty descent. Staff friendly. If you don't have the full all inclusive, at dinner, there are no free drinks included, not even water, so take your own with you if you don't want to be charged. My wife and I had a great time. The water was beautiful, beach was clean, the food was delicious , all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Especially the receptionist Marivi, she was so kind to us and very helpful, felt like we were talking to a dear friend. She definitely made our stay that more special. The propery is located right by the beaach with a great pool for adults and kids. It was quiet, and offer some amenities during the day. The daily breakfast was very good, and the new chiringuito bar by the beach is great for a quick lunch or drink.

I am just back from Nerja. Stayed in The Perla Marina . Wonderful hotel, great location. Beautiful restaurants nearby. Jamaica is well worth a visit. Ruskens for lunch and a good glass of wine. I have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel, we made an error with our booking and didn’t ask for twin beds, the Reception Staff kindly changed our room for us even though it was our mistake. Location of hotel on beach was good but the hotel entrance to access the beach was not open until 10am each day - far too late. Marketed as a private beach but it is not - non hotel guests able to gain access well before 10am. Change of beach towels only allowed between 10am -noon. A fantastic hotel. The location is amazing, with beautiful gardens to escape the heat, and gorgeous views of the beach and ocean. Staff was great, in particular Luz and Antonio from reception. Excellent location of this Parador, good size rooms with good beds and bedlinens, but the Parador itself and the rooms are not up to Parador standards and were below my expectations. Quality/Price ratio is poor.

It was my first stay at the Parador Hotel. It was a nice hotel with a good distance from the center of Nerja. It was clean and comfortable. It was a shame that I only stayed for one night.

Excellent hotel, quiet rooms, warm and friendly hotel staff, the hotel terrace faces the Mediterranean Sea, and you can go directly to the beach by swiping the room card to use the elevator. The breakfast is rich, the free dinner dishes are good, and the service is in place.

I had a most enjoyable B&B stay recently with my family staying nearby. Room was spotlessly clean well serviced it had a pool view. All public room's were lovely. I don't want to be too critical of this hotel as we got a reasonable deal with easyjet holidays and in fairness I think we got what what we paid for. HOWEVER a word of caution in the restaurant, the food labelling is poor and on several occasions was wrong in displaying potential allergens. This is a really well run hotel. The staff were really nice to us. We stayed in a superior room with a lovely pool view and nice balcony. The room was really clean but was small. The bed was not good as it was really hard and very squeaky. Breakfast was nice with a really large selection but repetitive choices. Pool and pool deck are fantastic.

Comfort and value. Great pool facilities and apartment was clean with everything you need. The closest beach is Burriana beach but is bit of walk. There's public bus but it only comes hourly. My family enjoyed the stay and would come back again.

Good A 5-night stay in Nerja, mainly for relaxation, beach time, and outings in the town. The accommodation was located quite far from the center of Nerja, on a mountainside. Ideally, you need a car. Otherwise, a bus runs every hour to access the center and the beaches. The apartment matched the description, with all amenities.

Exceptionally clean and fantastic location! Only issue I had was with the constant humming from the electric box in the room. It was very loud. I got ear plugs on the 1st day but even with them, I could still hear the noise. Street noise was there also.

This hotel is perfectly placed for visits to the Caves of Nerja. It has adequate free parking and is only 2 or three miles from beautiful Nerja and numerous beaches. The room was spacious and clean. One night stay We arrived 4 1/2 hours later than planed in the early hours of the morning. The night porter checked us in and was very pleasant and helpful. It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff.

The property was in a nice area of Nerja, not far from downtown and the beaches. Overall, the property could use an update. The air conditioner was not working at first and then when it did it couldn’t be shut down for 3-4 days. They had no other room to move us to. The bathroom also needed an update. Overall, the hotel was pricey for the amenities and condition that it offered.

The location is very far from beach and centre of town, the information on the apartment said 1 klm from beach area it was more like 4 or 5 we stayed in 2 bedroom apartment it was very old fashioned and dirty had to ask to have lights fixed in kitchen and bedroom, it was situated at the top of very steep hills, not at all suitable for any person with health issues, would not stay here again

Nice apartment but lacks a little bit of attention to detail from a cleaning point of view in the kitchen. Ants in the kitchen, no handles on fridge or freezer to open the doors, freezer drawers and cupboard doors needed to be wiped down. No towel to dry dishes or detergent to wash them.
