Hotels in Nerja

This property is beautifully located right on the beach. It is however a much older clientele. We felt out of place as two younger travelers. I would choose an airbnb that is near the city center if you are younger. The people that were enjoying the property looked very happy and the place is spotless!

Wonderful family weekend. Wonderful hotel in the heart of Nerja and on the beach. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Everyone a joy to deal with. Offered Cava on arrival and a complimentary shower/changing room as we didn’t leave the property until 6.00 pm. Highly recommend. Spotless, lovely decor, fantastic setting.

A Lovely stay at the Rui Monica I had a lovely 2 week stay at Rui Monica. The staff were very friendly , Food delicious lots of choice, very good entertainment in the evenings. So easy to get to the beach front from Hotel. I had a little accident were I fell and the staff were amazing so kind, caring and helpful. Antonio the manager was lovely. Thank you all for your kindness and help.

We love RIU Monica and Nerja We always enjoy our stay at RIU Monica. It is very easy to arrive by car, plenty of room in front of the hotel to arrive then find a parking spot or use hotel parking lot. I really enjoy room with a balcony, rooms and the hotel are very, very clean. Gym has a few bikes, rowing machine, eliptical, treadmill, and a few weight machines. Third visit to this first class hotel. Buffet style restaurant with more than enough for whatever you want, staff friendly and polite. All parts of the hotel well looked after and clean

Our first time at the Riu Monica, we were not disappointed, very friendly staff who were all keen to help. Excellent location alongside the beach, a short stroll into the main old town of Nerja. Good food options with buffet breakfast and dinner. Drinks very reasonably priced.

The hotel was clean, and the room was nice. But no tea coffee sugar or milk,but they did supply a kettle 2 x cups and tea spoons. Reception staff had the most miserable faces. A small fridge with 2 small bottles of water that never got replaced. Breakfast was not the best luke warm most days, and you had to go to another hotel(across the road) to eat it. This is a return stay here. Lovely staff,our maid is the best we've ever had left our room spotless and smells fresh ever time she cleaned it. Zoe the jet 2 rep was very helpful. The hotel in general is 4 🌟 Only thing I would suggest is a few more sun bed's please for when we return.

Location of hotel on beach was good but the hotel entrance to access the beach was not open until 10am each day - far too late. Marketed as a private beach but it is not - non hotel guests able to gain access well before 10am. Change of beach towels only allowed between 10am -noon. Great location. Having to queue up to get a sun lounger, not enough sun loungers. The sun beds on the hotel's private beach were absolutely deeadful, they were very old and looked very uncomfortable, also the umbrellas were very tatty and old, NOT THE STANDARD OF A 4 STAR HOTEL

This is a really well run hotel. The staff were really nice to us. We stayed in a superior room with a lovely pool view and nice balcony. The room was really clean but was small. The bed was not good as it was really hard and very squeaky. Breakfast was nice with a really large selection but repetitive choices. Pool and pool deck are fantastic.

Staff were lovely. Food was great and the pool was also nice. We had one issue with a door but it was dealt with swiftly. Would recommend to family and friends as a good budget hotel. You get what you pay for but me and my friends all had a great time.

The staff are excellent in this hotel. Wolfgang is very welcoming and friendly and also helped me when I locked myself out of the safe (likely to be my fault). The location is perfect, just 2mins from the main restaurant area but very quiet. We really liked everything about the hotel however the aircon in the room didn’t work & it was so warm, if we were there mid summer it would have been way too hot. This hotel is perfectly placed for visits to the Caves of Nerja. It has adequate free parking and is only 2 or three miles from beautiful Nerja and numerous beaches. The room was spacious and clean. The furnishings were adequate. The en-suite was "tired" and there was some mould in the shower area. However, for the price - in Nerja and at Easter - the hotel was exceptional value. One night stay We arrived 4 1/2 hours later than planed in the early hours of the morning. The night porter checked us in and was very pleasant and helpful. There was no hot water in the room in the morning but this was because we had a really bad storm during the night which had affected the electricity supply . It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff.

The property was in a nice area of Nerja, not far from downtown and the beaches. Overall, the property could use an update. The air conditioner was not working at first and then when it did it couldn’t be shut down for 3-4 days. They had no other room to move us to. The bathroom also needed an update. Overall, the hotel was pricey for the amenities and condition that it offered.

Fantastic "urbanisation". Clean, attractive & well maintained. Lovely pools. The pool we used had a great pool bar as well. On site cafe & bar. As its built into the side of a hill, some areas are a bit steep, but so pretty, the effort was worth it

The location is very far from beach and centre of town, the information on the apartment said 1 klm from beach area it was more like 4 or 5 we stayed in 2 bedroom apartment it was very old fashioned and dirty had to ask to have lights fixed in kitchen and bedroom, it was situated at the top of very steep hills, not at all suitable for any person with health issues, would not stay here again

Nice apartment but lacks a little bit of attention to detail from a cleaning point of view in the kitchen. Ants in the kitchen, no handles on fridge or freezer to open the doors, freezer drawers and cupboard doors needed to be wiped down. No towel to dry dishes or detergent to wash them. The propery is located right by the beaach with a great pool for adults and kids. It was quiet, and offer some amenities during the day. The daily breakfast was very good, and the new chiringuito bar by the beach is great for a quick lunch or drink.

I liked the hotel room, I like spacious rooms. There is a kitchen. The child does not always want to eat at a cafe for dinner. I was very happy to lie in the bath with foam. My son ran around the hotel to the beach, met other children. Thank you!
