Hotel Cala del Pi - Adults Only in Platja d'Aro

The hotel is very elegant but not over the top. It has an up to date first class feel. The views of the water were outstanding. The staff and management at the front desk, breakfast area, bar and pool were all very accommodating and professional. I especially enjoyed the miles of walking/ jogging pathways that run along the coast. The views on these paths were breathtaking.

The gardens are fabulous and the pool is also great . You are also above a lovely secluded beach so you can take a swim there too . They have also opened a new area next door whilst we were there . It’s has another pool; loads of loungers; a bar and 3 extras suites above . Plus the spa is incredible - pool, jacuzzi; cold room; sauna and multiple different showers and jets to try . The room we had was superb . Well laid out; sufficient cupboards; luxurious gowns and slippers. The decor is laid back elegant in tones of ecru, oak and white . The couches and bed are fabulously comfortable and the bed linen is crisp. The towels are an excellent quality as well as the toiletry products . The bathroom or changing room could do with somewhere to hang the bath towels as there are only 2 hooks in the bathroom and the gowns were on those. The hotel is a blissful oasis of quiet and calm . The staff are a delight and friendly. The main town is about 10-15 minutes walk and there are many restaurants and shops . The breakfast at the hotel is incredible and the pastry, cake and bread section is next level . We enjoyed the lunch on the patio and the main restaurant . The gym is really well equipped and well laid out . It does however require mats and a weight Likewise the attached bathroom had no handwash and there is no disinfectant available to clean the machines after use . Plus it was not cleaned in 2 and a half days so I eventually spoke to the front desk . Then again, 2 days later, there were only 3 towels available first thing in the morning and the machines had not been cleaned .

Hotel Cala del Pi is a beautiful hotel. The staff were amazing - friendly and responsive; the decor is elegant and tasteful; every room is spotlessly clean; the food is all to a high standard; and the environment is supremely relaxing and restful.

Beautiful, immaculate, plush rooms. The hotel is right on the beach and there is easy access to Cami de Ronda. The food at the hotel restaurant and cafe is seasonal and delicious. The spa is wonderful too. Highly recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway in Costa Brava.

Very lovely and hard working staff ! A good 5 star starts with good staff , this staff does a step extra … if you order a drink they do not mind if they have to serve you at a far end or the hotel, they come with the bottles to you , so you see you get what you ordered… The minus points that we found had nothing to do with staff …. The knobs from the closet are hard to open if at all if your hands just used cream your body …. The straws you get with a drink are plastic free no really no plastic, these straws you can eat and taste good ! Therefore we found it strange to see after every turndown that our coffee spoons were put into plastic rapping This are really small things … the setting is perfect as you do feel you are in a busy holiday place

This hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the view and the spaciousness of our suite. Wow the bathroom and closet area were amazing! The breakfast was limited and would have liked some healthier choices like a porridge and granola and plain yogurts. The pool and beach area are really comfortable and there was always a nice spot to relax. We felt that the staff was not well educated about the surrounding areas and had some trouble answering our questions and that we were on our own for. Overall, the staff is very friendly and we liked the location since it was center of Costa Brava and it was easy for day trips to close by towns and wineries.

I can’t say enough about our amazing experience! From the moment we arrived until our departure the staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and so close to the beach, coastal walking paths and the town center. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Cala Del Pi became true place to rest, recharge, explore and enjoy for us. Three years in a row…we come back. Incredible team straight from the moment of entry into hotel, please try spa (massage) treatment and gastronomical adventure on the breathtaking terrace!…Indeed, renovated rooms are absolutely to satisfy comfort and luxury ‘hunger’. Easy access to the beach, surrounded by pine-trees, walking distance to Platja D’Aro promenade…unlimited number of those small details to come back there and recommend it to other people. Magnificent location and facilities, impeccable service, peaceful, I had the best time ever and left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Would definitely recommend.
Special shout out to the welcome desk and restaurant staff who's excellent service was the cherry on top of a fantastic cake.
