Staff are polite & pleasant, rooms are clean, food is really good. Noise can be an issue for some if your facing the strip however on the top floor and closed balcony it really isn’t that bad at all. Would go again. Rooms could do with an update but are of a high standard.

Me and my partner stayed at Sol Tenerife hotel for 7days for a holiday . My first impression was good . They have good enough food , drinks,entertainment ,what I didn’t like is that I found cockroaches in my room and I also heared other people complaining about cockroaches in their rooms , the rooms are full of cockroaches couldn’t get no sleep , and by the way if you are coming here with a family with kids just don’t because the noise outside is bad and you wouldn’t want your kids sleep in a room full of cockroaches. The staff cleans the rooms but I don’t think the staff cleans the rooms properly because I only saw them using a broom instead of a hoover which would be more effective for getting cockroaches out . This hotel is okay for couples only and for people who want to party. This hotel is a 4 star hotel , the food deserves 4 stars but the rooms full of cockroaches deserve 1 star . Over all I’d give this hotel 3 stars or less . The location is pretty good because you are a few minutes walk away from shops , restaurants and bars and more .Here are some proof or cockroaches in the room crawling about !!

Sol Tenerife is a dated hotel in need of a spruce up.
The staff here are lovely and the food is alright.
What lets the place down is the dated rooms, lack of noise deadening (even from within the hotel you can hear the rooms next door far too much especially in the bathrooms)
I’m not going to complain about location noise, if you book a hotel right next to the Veronica’s strip you should know what you’re in for in that respect.
Unfortunately during my stay due to the lack of a lifeguard, a man had sunk to the bottom of the pool unnoticed.
When a lady spotted him the entertainment staff did not hesitate to jump straight in and pull him out. They immediately began CPR and called an ambulance. After a long while of shouting and screaming the ambulance arrived. I have no idea if the man died or not, he was unresponsive when he left so we don’t know.
This was a traumatic experience to watch and it should not have happened. Where were the lifeguards supervising the pool? This is a family hotel, health and safety precautions need to be taken and they need to be stricter.
I would still like to give credit to the fantastic entertainment and bar staff who did make a lot of our stay entertaining, but I shall never return to this hotel.

I feel the hotel is a bit dated and some renovations would give it keep it at a 4 star hotel, it's also located very close the the strip so noise is a bit of an issue while trying to sleep. The spread of food in the morning is brilliant. The main reason I am giving 4 stars is due to its exceptional staff, everyone was friendly, helpful and just brilliant all round. The staff are a credit to this hotel.

This was our 4th visit to Tenerife and our first time staying at Sol Tenerife. Sol Tenerife consists of two large tower blocks and depending on which side of the blocks you stay decides what you will hear in the evening.
On one side you will hear music from Veronica's and on the other side you will hear karaoke from Leonardo's. For us not a problem but some people may find the music too loud and it does go on till about 4am.
The rooms were clean and tidy and were cleaned everyday with towels replaced, the only issue was plug sockets as there are only two. We just unplugged the TV and used it for charging devices.
The breakfast was standard buffet style with a mix of fry up, continental and lots of fruit and sweet treats.
The reception staff are friendly and were very quick to help when needed, we had a problem with a key card and someone came to fix the reader on our door 5 minutes after we had spoken to reception.
They have 3 pool tables, a table tennis table and tennis court.
The entertainment crew were friendly and funny.
There are 2 main pools open till 7pm but no balls or floats are allowed. One issue is the sunbeds, for the amount of guests the hotel can house it does not have enough sunbeds. If your not up for the morning run to secure a bed then you will probably not get one as many guests put their towels on the beds at 8.30 then disappear for the day.
If you want a hotel that is in the middle of the hustle and bustle and right next to the beach then this is the place.

The hotel itself could have been worse. It’s okay if you’re not planning on spending too much time there. But be aware you will be best of renting the safe, after leaving for breakfast forgetting i had taken the ring my boyfriend had given me years before after a shower. We returned to our room cleaned but my ring missing. Looking everywhere we had to accept it was gone. Absolutely gutted. WE HAD EVEN PREVIOUSLY TIPPED OUR ROOM CLEANER??
To add to the blow bring earplugs the strip music doesn’t stop till 4am sometimes even 6 and the sunbed situations?? i wouldn’t even bother trying. You’ll be hand and fist fighting for one.
Breakfast is mediocre but to be expected
( recommend the pancakes if you’re a picky eater) but overall wouldn’t make the effort to stay here again if given the choice.

This hotel is in a great location if you are sleeping in the day and out all night partying. Great for a lads or a girls trip. But if you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday with your partner or family then I wouldn’t advise to stay in this hotel. There is absolutely no sound proofing between hotel rooms and the corridor, you can hear absolutely everything all night. Our hotel room was facing the strip, which is fine because me and my partner are deep sleepers, but it sounded like you had the club speakers in your room😂😳. We was also given a interlocking room, as a couple we was just on our own but we could just let ourselves into the next hotel room which freaked me out and made me feel uncomfortable. Luckily the lock was on our side so the guests in the next room wouldn’t be able to let themselves into our room but is unfair on whoever hasn’t got the lock on their side of the door. You can’t get a sun-bed past 10 as they are all taken or reserved with towels. But on the plus side we didn’t let any of this ruin our holiday and both had a really nice time. Breakfast was nice! Air conditioning in rooms is very good! There is a gate that you can go through at the pool that takes you straight onto the beach! Location is good in the day time as you have a lot to go to in walking distance and Ubers aren’t too expensive to Siam park, Siam mall, Jungle park.
Overall we wouldn’t come back to this hotel, but I wouldn’t stress too much if you have already booked in, we both really enjoyed our holiday. Ps - just bring some ear plugs😂.

Absolutely perfect hotel for us as a couple. The rooms were amazing. The sea view was the best! Breakfast was everything you could want. The promenade is literally just outside the gate and the strip is just up the hill outside the front of the hotel. This hotel is in a perfect location. All staff were amazing especially our ladies that looked after our room. We will definitely be back!

Avoid... like you would Covid19
I understand this place is in Playas and it's "lively" but when you can hear the karaoke from the bar across the road at midnight even through headphones or ear plugs you know it's bad. Especially when we are supposedly in the quiet rooms.
Kept up until 2/3am. Noise from outside unbearable. Can hear people sneeze in the rooms next door the walls are so thin.
I've stayed in lively places before. But when you go in to your room at least there's peace. You won't get that here. Awful stay. I would recommend avoiding this place.
The place looks OK a little worn in places.
The staff at reception seem friendly. But the waiters/bar staff and food staff don't seem to even notice you are there.
