An absolutely beautiful, well run hotel. The overall design, decor and relaxed ambience make this place truly special. Staff are fantastic and do everything they can do make your stay a great experience (Gabriella the concierge even giving me a lift to the ATM, to save me the walk - when I was in a rush to get cash).
Breakfast&dinner buffet are both of a high standard, and the nightly themes help to change it up a bit.
Pool area is one of the best I've experienced, no stress around getting sun beds, most people are respectful of the hotels policy, which means beds are always available. Plus it's just beautiful.
Rooms are great, most have superb views (sea/mountain) which ever side you are on. They are cleaned regularly to a great standard. Good a/c.

We stayed here for 5 nights and only went after reading all these reviews, our 6 year old twins travelled with us and we are expecting some sorts of entertainment for kids, however there was nothing of that sort beside a children club room with the basics, paints, colors, movies.
Breakfast needs to be looked at seriously and need quite a lot of a revamp. We paid a handsome amount for the 5 nights and was expecting a real 5****
Kids only had the swimming pools to go to hence we had to arrange activities outside the hotel to keep them busy.
Rooms were a good size and the house keeping cleaned the room up to 3-4 times a day which is great, but a lot of other things matter too.

This was an awesome experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I came here with a friend for her birthday and they treated us like royalty. They called every taxi, they recommended perfect restaurants to eat, they even gave us Champagne and dessert on her birthday!! The resort is located close to everything! If you plan to stay on the resort they have great food and plenty to do. The only negative is the pool closes at 7 but I found out that’s everywhere. I will definitely be back!! I want to take this time to thank everyone at La Plantación!!

We are currently at the hotel and this is the third time we have visited. It is still as fantastic as our first visits!! The staff are all so friendly and will do anything for you! The pools are fantastic, there are kids pools and adult only pools. Food is brilliant with plenty to choose from at breakfast and pool bar is great at lunch. We had the buffet dinner for the first time the other night and it was lovely too.
Rooms are so clean and beautifully decorated. Nice touches like bed turndown service in evenings.
Bar area is fab and Euro games have been shown much to my sons’ delight. They have used the kids’ club on previous stays but I thought they might be too big this time. However, the kids club staff invited them to the spa morning and they both loved it and were very well looked after.
The hotel is located up a hill, slightly out of the centre of Costa Adeje. We like this as it is a nice 15 min wander down into town in the evening and cool enough to walk back up at night when you’re finished meal, bars, shopping etc. Loads to choose from!

This place was phenomenal! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Tenerife. The hotel and the area is very clean and feels fresh. The staff are lovely, especially the lady at breakfast who greets you! Breakfast was good, could have a few more gluten free options but is sufficient for a hotel. The room is VERY spacious, more than the photos online which is a bonus and the pool areas are really great! We wandered around 2 other 5 star hotels on our stay inside but would say this one is definitely the best! Theres a lot of walking to explore within too and I love the interiors and exteriors with the plants and serene settings.

Blessed with an awesome location this property is ancient….air condition doesn’t work, super old bed and mattress. I am glad I did not buy full board. Morning breakfast is awful with smelly bakery fruits gone bad. Breakfast closes at 11 and they start wrapping up and taking away spreads by 10.30. We arrived at 9.45 AM to be seated and were welcomed with an enthusiastic waiter complaining everyone wants to come at 10 AM…..I guess a reminder while on vacation you better wake up for sunrise for breakfast. Took him half hour to seat us. The pictures on this hotels website are stunning unlike the property I give that to the photographer did an awesome job. Overall staff is nice however you come here expecting a 5 star facility it will be a huge disappointment.

EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY staff, during breakfast. They would constantly approach us and ask us whether we have finished our breakfast taking away our plates with food still being on it. Being rude, talking in a very bad manner. At night someone was making noise, after complaints the reception made an inappropriate "joke" and never tried to warn the person singing and making noise. SPA had a lot of issues, buttons did not work ( on jacuzzi ). The worst part was when we asked to take one fruit for our baby, and even though i understand that it may not be allowed the waiter told us " no you cannot!" And instantly took away the fruits so we wouldn't pick any.

5 star hotel. The only disadvantages: - it only takes a couple of minutes to get to the beach, but you need to return from it along a steep hill under the scorching sun, and you need to go around the entire hotel, making a big detour - the renovation is already a bit old for such a hotel - the pillow menu, I found by chance on the last day, vacation, under the dirty laundry bag in the dressing room. Why not near the bed where it should be? When asking the maids if there was even a menu, no one spoke English. - they didn’t clean the room, one of the balconies, probably for a week, there was a lot of sand there.. - very arrogant maids. We lived in one of the best, 2-room suites. The maids just barged in on us, talking very loudly to each other and completely ignoring us!! That's just terrible. I repeat, they don’t speak English and didn’t react to my indignation at all! But there are many more advantages!!
