THB Maria Isabel - Adults Only Mini-hotel

I stayed here for one night and I was travelling alone at the time. I was nervous I was going to miss the check in time as my flight was delayed and I was due to arrive later than midnight. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating when I arrived and they were so welcoming, which was amazing after such a stressful travel day. The room was really nice with a balcony and what stood out to me was how clean and fresh the sheets smelled. The breakfast was pretty standard for a buffet. There was a chef making hot food, which I didn’t get to try but I liked how there was a barista and the coffee wasn’t just from a pot/ machine.

The service here was absolutely incredible. As a woman staying alone, I felt safe and welcomed. It was the little things like that walking me up to breakfast instead of simply showing me the way and recommending the best beaches for the remainder of my trip. The staff here are honestly incredible and I would 100% come back!

Great hotel (adults only) in a very convenient location: transportation nearby, beach nearby, shops restaurants etc.
Palma aquarium is only a 20 mins walk away.

Super friendly staff, always available for anything you need.
I had half board included, breakfast was everything I needed: assortment in bread and rolls and pastries. Charcuterie was available as well as cheeses, salads and eggs and bacon (cooked in front of you)
Dinner was great, themed differently every evening: ranges of different dishes (cold and hot) soup, bread, salads, cheese, and meats and fish cooked in front of you

One negative: the rooms do let through quite a bit of noise. Didn’t have any issues until new people arrived in the room next to mine. They kept me awake until 2-3am because I could hear every word they said.
But the beds are comfortable, everything was clean, very spacious, bathroom was nice and clean, sizeable balcony
I would definitely come back (but a different time of year, unfortunately the weather wasn’t as it used to be this time of year)

My sister and I recently visited for a short weekend trip abroad. The hotel was clean, bright, and our balcony had a fantastic ocean view. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and there was a variety of quality celiac options at breakfast, which was awesome! Close to the airport and public transport stops. If only it were a little closer to downtown Palma.

I was looking for a great place to stay in Palma, and this place was great! The room was cozy with a spacious bathroom and a fantastic view of the coastline. The hotel was adults-only which was nice; it was pretty quiet for the duration of my stay. The beach is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel and there are plenty of shops, stores, and restaurants nearby. It’s close to PMI airport (5-10min) and downtown Palma/city center (15min) and accesible and private vehicle or public transport. The food (an extra cost or can be added to the reservation) was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and assisted well with any questions I had and during check-in and check-out. When I visit Palma again, I would absolutely stay here.

The experience exceeded all expectations from day one. The facilities are kept in very good conditions; the rooms are impeccable and the view from the 9th floor is unbeatable. In general, the staff strives for effectiveness and efficiency at every task. Hard thing to achieve during a pandemic. But the one task that makes them shine the most is their buffet experience (for both, breakfast and dinner!). The quality of the food is way above average, and the dynamics of the team to strive for flawlessness is simply impressive. In general, it seems as if there is a common force behind it all: a management wish to do it right!

Excellent hotel ,with a wonderful view the breakfast was tasty ,it was really well located near the playa of palma I recommend this hotel.

+ The whole building is in an overall good to very good condition!
+ Good bed and firm mattress.
+ Friendly, courteous and helpful staff at reception / front desk / checkout.
+ Room rate for the stay was quite good for high season. Probably one of the least expensive ⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel in Playa de Palma.
+ Diverse guest mix: 🇫🇷, 🇮🇹, 🇩🇪, 🇳🇱, 🇪🇸, 🇵🇹🇧🇷, 🇨🇭, 🇷🇺, 🇵🇱 i.e. not dominated by one single group.
+ Really good WiFi! Easy to connect to the network, free of charge, and good connection inside the house as well as by the pool!

° Housekeeping.
° Pool and pool area are okay although a bit bland and insipid. Pleasant bathing temperature only in the afternoon; in the morning it's too cold to relax in the cold water. There's plenty of sunloungers around but unfortunately not a single plastic table for putting your belongings. Most international four star hotels put some sort of table between the deck chairs for their guests, but not this one.
° Nice pool bar but with only a small selection of snacks. Prices are moderate however. The QR codes on the table unfortunately neither lead to the snacks menu nor the regular drinks menu but only to their higher priced list of cocktails.
° Room size (sgl) not huge but okay. Bathroom spacious. Small balcony.
° Location: 5 minute walk from the beach area. Next to a plot of unattended land where people are occasionally drinking / partying and BBQing. 5 Euros for a bus ride from the airport, 20 Euros for an early morning taxi ride to the airport with two bags. Bus service from the main road to the airport starts at 7 AM I was told.

- Refrigerator / minibar was way too loud at night! Had to disconnect it from the plug in order to sleep 💤.
- The building itself is an eyesore.
- When booking the room I requested an iron and an ironing board. Never seen one nor the other during my stay...
- You have to pay a daily rate for using the safe and I think even a deposit for the key! That's a no-go even though I know from my own experience that other 4 star hotels on Majorca are doing the exact same nonsense!

Overall, generally speaking, my stay was quite alright. I mainly booked the hotel for the moderate price during high season since I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for my stay. In the end you get what you pay for...
It's more of a 3 star plus / superior hotel than an outright 4 star hotel in my opinion.
Would I come back? For a good price why not?

The reception looks so nice and they give you masks for free. The pool is not the nicest and the water is cold however the beach is a 5 minute walk which is amazing clear water and a long strip of restaurants and shops. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is good.
