I've yet never stayed at this hotel but it's a four star hotel and is beautifully situated at the playa, yet no more than 10-15 min slow walk from the center of Punta Umbria. Seen at night from the water, the hotel roof shines with a deep and strong blue colour. Very cool!

Good, modern place. Swimming pool could be bigger. The beach is at Walking distance, that is fantastic. But to the city centre or grocery shopping you must have a car.

The stay was great. Great weather, near to the beach, clean pools. Not 5 stars because when the hotel is full, there is a lot of noise, the WiFi gets bad and it's hard to find a place in the pool.

When we arrived at the Nuevo Portil Hotel we were warmly greeted by Francisco, who was very fluent in English and explained everything to us very detailed. Only problem booked golf with a buggy due to wife's incapacity. First day was so busy took over 5 hours to play 13 holes, so we did not complete the round. Second day no buggy available for our tee time so the golf has been a waste of time.

Nice golf hotel with an excellent service. All staff very professional and the concept off three different choices at the three course dinner worked well. The golf course was in good shape and the greens held high standard. Unfortunately the driving range did not at all meet the standards. Old golf balls hard as stones. Kind of surprised you had to pay for them. But still I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel has excellent staff and they helped a large group of us from Northern Ireland when we encountered a health issue. The facilities are perfect for both large and small groups. Nice hotel & appartment hotel situated on a 36 hole golf court. Very nice groundings. A guest train from the hotel to the port goes on regular basis.

Very good hotel and buffet restaurant. Has 2 excellent but difficult golf courses. Fly to Faro and they pick you up. Good pro shop buggies electric trolleys push trolleys available. Good staff all round. Great swimming pool good walks nearby. All inclusive available after 5pm.
