We have just returned from a week at Barcelona Punta beach hotel After reading a lot of the reviews I knew what to expect.. very Spanish! Jet2 doesn’t explain how big this hotel is..it is huge The rooms are large, some of the furniture a bit dated though, a great big bed,safe,plenty of wardrobe space ( never enough hangers) Bathrooms need updated, who uses a bidet these days!! Magic Room was a great family experience. We've done it last year and we liked it very much, so much we decided to repeat the experience this year. Alba and António were great hosts. The rest of the resort is very clean and cosy. It's the 6th time we've spent holidays here, I suppose that says a lot.

Service could be better from the reception to the overall staff. They divide the restaurants into 2 shifts, so you cant eat when you want, and the second shift you start having lunch at 3 pm. Overall the space is good, its close to the beach, weather is great, they just need to improve the restaurant part.

May is definitely a great time to visit! It’s just before the tourist crowds roll in for the summer. The weather is warm and the ocean is cold! This resort has a great pool, is just steps from the beach, and situated on a nature preserve. Quiet, and relaxing.

Hotel is great with a fantastic location and the staff are amazing, however as in many places sunbeds at the pool were reserved and not used and no controls over that leaving many guests with no place to sun bathe

I think that the rooms was clean but sometimes the peope was a few rude.

When we arrived at the Nuevo Portil Hotel we were warmly greeted by Francisco, who was very fluent in English and explained everything to us very detailed. Only problem booked golf with a buggy due to wife's incapacity. First day was so busy took over 5 hours to play 13 holes, so we did not complete the round. Second day no buggy available for our tee time so the golf has been a waste of time.

Nice golf hotel with an excellent service. All staff very professional and the concept off three different choices at the three course dinner worked well. The golf course was in good shape and the greens held high standard. Unfortunately the driving range did not at all meet the standards. Old golf balls hard as stones. We have been there for a few days. I'm going to summarize it. For what it has cost us and to be a 3-star hotel, a TEN. Pool with a phenomenal atmosphere (until 22 HRS) Full breakfast (for that price, what do you want) Overall decent cleanliness. Facilities consistent with their age, but working perfectly. We loved this experience! We did not hesitate to return, the staff was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Like the maids, impeccable cleanliness and extraordinary treatment. The pool was wonderful, comfortable and with plenty of hours for a last minute dip. Nice place and wonderful people.

We have been twice this summer. The staff is very nice, the stay has been very quiet. They are always with a smile and if you need anything they always help you. V We traveled with our one-year-old baby and then returned with the two children. To repeat without a doubt.

Been coming here every 2 years since the turn of the century. Feels like coming to visit a family (in a good way). The rooms are clean and have everything I could ask for. The food is good. The service is excellent! Wouldn't mind some increase in the price in exchange for more elaborate dinners we used to have here.

A typical cheap and cheerful hotel. The irony being on cheap, as its not that cheap. It's clean and close to everything in the area and has all the basic necessities one could need. The hotel has excellent staff and they helped a large group of us from Northern Ireland when we encountered a health issue. The facilities are perfect for both large and small groups. The location as well as the facility as a whole with the extensive park with direct access over the cliffs to the beach, the large rooms. Parts of the hotel especially the bar and the restaurant were recently renovated, which in total contributed to a very nice appearance. The whole hotel fits excellently into the landscape.

The reason I gave a five star review of this Parador lies in the lack of pretentiousness of the place and its downright simplicity. Of couse staff is also professional and kind. Lunch at the outdoors cafeteria and summer restaurant was correct, nothing to write home about. Since the Parador is located atop a small cliff, access to the beach requieres stamina to go through the odd 170 wooden steps...

Hotel and service is good but not more then average.between eating times there is not a lot of snacks to get. dinner rooms are not very large so it can be crowdy and also to get drink there is often time to wait.

The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away, so it's a bit in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are amazing, lots of room and extremely clean. All inclusive is a bit weird as you have to pay for most of the survices even tho you booked all inclusive. Food is good, no more no less. It isn't anything special.

Very good Hotel with a wide range of services and activities to do inside it. The food is good, where you have different dishes for all wishes and tastes. Everyday you have an after dinner show, where you can enjoy and laugh with the performance of Ernesto. You can also participate in the show. Definitely, was an experience which we'll repeat.

Amazing hotel with good service, good food variety and nice bedrooms. Nonetheless, has loads of kids and can be a bit noise in the nights. It's 3min walk from the beach. The hotel has a entertainment team that every day in the morning, afternoon and night have some activities for everyone (pool party, dance party, foam party, slides, hydro party, polo aquatic games).

Overall it’s an ok place. Room is nice, though balconies facing the back pool are very noisy. Breakfast is a mixed bag with some nice items but some of the staff are poorly-trained and could be more hospitable to guests. Services are limited outside of the summer season and the outdoor pool was closed. Definitely some improvements can be made but more or less ok, especially if you’re a golfer.
