Wonderful little Spanish oasis! The spa treatment from Nieves was incredible - a definite must here :) Very comfortable and clean, does what you need it to do at this hotel. Always get a sunbed. Very helpful staff on reception and a fun entertainment package. Food at the hotel is great, as expected for a buffet, £40pp a little steep. Only con of the hotel is location - I'd say you need a car, or to stay at the hotel, as El Rompido is a good 45 minute walk away. Overall, a lovely holiday and would recommend for a peaceful trip at a nice hotel.

Just had a great holiday at The Garden. I went as a solo as I needed to get away from teaching!!! This is a high quality place for a holiday. The hotel , pools and surroundings are beautiful. The pools are excellent. There was nothing negative to say about my time here. There is a lot of staff employed here and they are very friendly and helpful. I feel like they really go the extra mile. They work very hard and seem sincere about it. The food is amazing. The buffet is extensive and it isn’t the same food every day. I’ve not had a poolside holiday for over twenty years as I thought they’d be boring. I relaxed very quickly. The place isn’t over crowded - I needed it to be relaxed and not lots of people. I needed a break. This place was a real tonic. I will be definitely coming back again next year.

We stayed for 5 nights and very much enjoyed ourselves, the staff were always very helpful. The room was lovely and clean, and the buffet style food was also very nice. A few things that could maybe be improved: the pools were great however the chlorine levels must be extremely high as my blonde hair turned a bit green and some of my bikinis green also (this hasn't happened before at previous pools in Spain). The extras such as archery or tennis are only for the selected members price only, we came to the hotel wanting to take part in these and weren't aware that this would be an added fee, our agency that we booked through mentioned these were all inclusive so I'll bring it up with them as well, my feedback on that is to possibly make it clear on guest arrival. Finally the food, I myself loved the food, however my partner who is vegetarian had limited options each night so he only ate pizza and chips. Other than that we had a fabulous time and would recommend our friends and family to come here, it's a lovely holiday resort that's quiet and relaxing.

The hotel was clean and spacious with great air condition. Pleasantly surprised how big the room was with great views. The hotel is quiet and there was always sundowners avaliable. I liked the fact that there were no inflatables and no kids. The staff were all friendly and helpful The food was really enjoyable with a great choice. The coffee at the bar was fabulous, and the selection of drinks was great. My wife enjoyed the wine with dinner but didn't enjoy the wine at the bars however, the Cava made up for it. There is room for improvement for wine at the bars and the coffee for breakfast. We would absolutely come back. Thank you for a great stay

I had the massage of a lifetime with Nieves. I needed a message to relieve tension in my neck and head. I didn't expect to find such a professional masseuse at your hotel. Nieves is an experienced professional. I highly recommend her.

The hotel is dated and a rabbit warren to figure out. Arriving late at night there was a basic meal of salad we could have or bread with yogurt. The food was nice for a pile it up and eat with different themes each night. Breakfast again was the same thing but a good variety of choice - unsure about the boiled bacon and white sausage - the beans were cold but the staff in the restaurant approachable and friendly. Meal time on an evening was 8pm which was fairly late - and the local village which is a 5 mile round trip walk away. We hired bikes from the hotel for €9 each for half the day. We had seen the small village in 20 mins. The beach was small - and we declined the ferry to take us over to the other side of the resort. A couple we spoke to said they had a great time. You need to bring your own bottle of water to enable you to fill up the water bottle left in the room. Please take a coffee cup and glass with you from breakfast as you are left with a paper cup which won’t last the week. There is also no coffee in the room so make sure to bring your own. Ice creams are €3.50 but you get 30% off as all inclusive. The day trip to Seville was amazing and would highly recommend. The night entertainment involved picking couples from the audience and insultingly asking other people to guess their age - as you can imagine this was not particularly funny. It’s a very strange hotel and I would liken it to the hotel Cortez…..from American horror Story. It’s the vibe - which is literally non existent. Wi-Fi is good.

Positives: gorgeous, well maintained and very relaxing hotel with lovely and attentive staff. Lots of entertainment and activities on offer. Largely good food available (for extra, not included in all inclusive) in the pool bar. Two lovely pools. No kids!
Negatives: rather remote location (nearest town of El Rompido is a 40-minute walk and a lot of the restaurants there are only open for a couple of hours at lunchtime and closed in the evening). Buffet food was okay, but never properly hot and rather bland (was hoping for some authentic spicy Spanish fare!). Drinks selection in the day at the pool bar was limited. Entertainment got repetitive after a week. Nowhere to buy a bottle of water with a lid to take to the beach!!
All in all, a lovely place to go all inclusive and relax in the sun by the pool for a few days, but beyond that you might get bored and crave a hot, more flavoursome meal!

Positives. The hotel is a good and the facilities and rooms are nice, the staff are friendly. No complaints.
Negatives. The food and drinks. We ended up eating out every night. The food quality is poor and 50% of the people cooking it don't care. The hotel could be fantastic, but is really let down by the food. The drinks are OK..... what you would expect from a cheap all inclusive but I've stayed at nicer hotels along this part of Spain.
Sun beds, we ended up renting a day bed when we wanted to sunbathe as the quality if the sunbeds and shade isn't great. Cost 25 euros including a bottle of cheap fizz.
The Spa!!!! Just awful. Do not waste your money. My wife used to work at a spa and we have had plenty of experience to pass judgement. We both said separately this was the worse we have ever experienced with two separate therapists.
When we checked out we asked the manager to call us as I didn't want to leave a negative review as I prefer to feedback for improvements. Still waiting for the call hence the review.
I think I'm being generous with the score of a two because the staff were friendly, we had a car so could drive out for food.
Final comment, alot better experiences to be had elsewhere along this beautiful coastline. Avoid if you have the option and don't bother with the spa it's dreadful.

My friend and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful oasis. This was a much needed break and I feel so rested now. The rsuperior double oom surpassed our expectations and was spacious and clean with a lovely balcony. The staff were delightful, friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. We loved the variety of food on offer.
