Went here on a Saga holiday and had a great time. Room clean and bed comfortable. Food a bit repetitive but generally good. Staff all friendly and helpful - special thanks to Esmarelda and Lucian. Short walk to small friendly village with good fish restaurants. Great place for birdwatchers with good walks from the hotel. Would be happy to go back again

Great experience with my family. My daughter of almost 3y.o enjoyed the pool, food. The only thing is the activities are only for kids over 4y.o which it does not give the opportunity to the youngers to join even if the parents around. The transfer offered by the hotel to a virgin beach is also interesting and very familiar beach to visit. One point of attention: there is no bathroom there so ensure to be prepared if you have kids.

I don't normally leave bad reviews but having stayed at a few El Fuerte hotels in the past, including this one, I feel obliged to comment. First the room we stayed in was looking very tired and needs some refurbishment. Some of the food in the buffet was well below standard for El Fuerte. One night the fish was so salty it was inedible, which we among other people, complained to the chef about. Out of the last 4 4star hotels we have been to recently this was definitely the worst. El Fuerte need to up there game for me to go again.

Fully enjoyed all the impeccable services . From reception to breakfast buffet, from Indoor and outdoor swimming pool to roomservice. Nice place to be. We spend 8 nights.

Excellent hotel, especially for birdwatchers. In a lovely setting with well cared for grounds. Cuisine “international” so usually something for every taste.

Fabulous hotel, great facilities and lovely staff.
Restaurant very noisy with trolleys rattling around making conversation difficult. Food is a bit repetitive and there’s nothing much to do in the area.

A nice hotel, a bit outdated but still fine.
A bottle of water in the room is something I would have expected at such a hotel, but can be forgiven, the breakfast was ok but I would recommend to skip the dinner, there are some restaurants around that I would rather recommend.
The beach, though it has to be reached by boat, is very nice and relaxing.

Amazing experience for a family weekend. Right on the river bank, just a boat ride from the ocean, the hotel has many pools and activity for kids. We went for a weekend and enjoyed our experience.
The breakfast buffet was well worth. The dinner buffet I'd probably skip next time as you can go to the villa just behind the hotel and there are many restaurants there.
The boardwalk behind the hotel is lovely. It's good for a run or for a long walk.

We have just returned from this hotel. Our stay was perfect, mainly thanks to the wonderful staff.
