The hotel is beautiful and clean. Love the shower especially. The reason for my 3 star review - the hotel Wifi is AWFUL! It has been really terrible for 3 days in a row. A premium hotel charging premium prices should not have a Wifi system from the 90s! And this has been the case every hour of my stay, not just a few minutes here or there. The hotel is in a great location for the beach, restaurants and bars, and the base. The front desk people were hardly ever present and not very friendly. The room cleaning service was inconsistent. The bed was one of the worst I have slept on and the pillows the worst by far.

Coming from 🇺🇸 it was nice stay for a very doable price. The receptionist was kind and willing to assist with getting a taxi to arrive. Free Wi-Fi was VERY fast for all my devices. We have stayed here several times over the past decade. Always clean with professional staff, and a very convenient location for walking to a number of lical spots, including the beach. Their pool area is quite nice as well, and always spotlessly clean.

stayed at Hotel Carribe in Rota Spain for several months twice! I was with the US Airforce. The staff and owners of Hotel Caribbe became our Friends and treated us as life long friends! the hotel is absolutely perfect for anyone!

This simple no-frills hotel in downtown Rota is excellent. The complimentary WiFi is very stable with decent speed. There is a walled outdoor swimming pool. They have a buffet style daily breakfast for a nominal fee. Each room has its own AC unit. Just be careful the shower stall is very tiny, and the water temperature can be a bit finicky. Great value for the prices paid!

The location is good, 5 minutes walk to the beach with some nice restaurants close by. It was clean and well maintained with nice helpful staff. The room was pleasent with a nice balcony. The pool was nice and clean but there was a shortage of sunbeds at busy times. I would stay here again.

Nice pool, and we had a nice large suite, but the average room looks like a closet (average European hotel room). Honestly a quite little family hotel. If you have kids the place is perfect! The swimming pool are nice but not gigantic, the resort is pretty small so they can move and be independent, the kid's club is super active and offering kid's show at night. For adults it's a bit more limited, the lobby's bar is nice but no ambiance, no way to take a coffee outside after 7pm, the only place to eat is the buffet...

Just stayed at Barcelo Costa Ballena with my pro and 10 other ladies. We had a super 5 nights there and would not hesitate to recommend others to this Hotel. The rooms, lobby, reception area, 2 pools bars, restaurant are all great, and staff are friendly and helpful throughout. (Just wish we'd had time to go to the Spa!)

Excellent service and very comfortable staying while playing golf. The staff handled the 16 hour power outage brilliantly.

Golf course is enormous, 36 total holes that I'm aware of but there may be more, driving range that you can get a little view of the ocean, course is beautiful, great to play on, very open, well maintained

Good Hotel but needs to improve restaurant since there is too strong smell from the grills. The location is fine. The view is very nice with the golf field. You can take a park inside or outside no problem. To reach the beach it is a 5 minutes walking but Hotel offer a transfer if you want.

This spa is very relaxing, and I really enjoyed the thermal circuit, and the ice pools were exactly what my legs needed after a good workout! Photos aren't allowed at this spa, but I'm sure you could view them on the website.

This is the second visit for us. The location close to the beach was great. The pools and slides are fantastic.

Food was meh, my AC was broken and I had to fix it myself because maintenance never showed up. Decent water entertainment if you have kids but that's about it.

Luxury without frills, a great hotel to stay with family and friends. Delicious breakfast and super kind staff. Great for an informal yet very comfortable stay. Lovely stay at Soho boutique. Gorgeous place. Was there for a wedding and thankfully the hotel kept the pool areas open beyond season as it was still hot enough to relax by the pool. Great room sizes and amenities. Only bad point was that the hotel bar food was below expectation.

Fantastic place. Only things to improve: the cleaning ladies don't wear masks! As soon as they enter your apartment, they remove it. Really? This should not be. We are still in a pandemic. Wearing a mask is the least they could do. Also, one bed was making lots of noise. Kept me awake all night.

Reasonably priced marina with good facilities and the staff is very useful and kind. The surrounding are not very inspiring, but Puerto Sherry is a great place to stop for repairs, as there are good chandlers and boat yards. The entrance is very narrow and probably shouldn't be attempted at night.

We had a very nice stay at this Hotel: nice staff, big rooms and a free shuttle service (especially the driver was really sweet and was always there to help us). Looks like a once great hotel, now most of it feels neglected. There are rather nice bars in the hotel that are not used, big performance stages and dancing areas that are empty and abandoned. The out side of the building has not been cleaned well in some time, their main sign out front is dirty and un inviting. One night stay for work so I can't really review this place other then give first impressions. Compare to places you'd find in Mexico I though the rooms were much nicer, however, overall place was a bit dated. None the less, I enjoyed the change of scenery with the nice views over the marina.

Amazing staff, great breakfast but disappointed with room. No kettle or coffee machine and the design of the bed was dreadful. There was no headboard or wall just à gap with a piece of 50mm wood which hurt my head if I sat in bed. We have stayed in a lot of Paradors but wouldn't come back to this one because of the design of the bed. A great shame because everything else was perfect.

For a 2 Star hotel it has alot of pluses. Quirky, nothing fancy, but outside roof terasse and bar! Great views. We were in room 401. Very well located hotel right in the heart of this lovely old city. My room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and tidy. My window overlooks a lovely ( and lively ) little plaza with bars, restaurants and flamenco playing guitarists! This hotel which is located in the middle of old town surprises me with it charm. My room is very small but it’s clean and I love the decor. I love how everything is decorated. Each door is different and unique. You definitely feel the moorish influence in this hotel. There’s a beautiful lobby where you can hang out and sit. The best part is the rooftop.
