The hotel is beautiful and clean. Love the shower especially. The reason for my 3 star review - the hotel Wifi is AWFUL! It has been really terrible for 3 days in a row. A premium hotel charging premium prices should not have a Wifi system from the 90s! And this has been the case every hour of my stay, not just a few minutes here or there. Great hotel to stay at in Rota! It’s within walking distance to many restaurants and a very close walk to the beach. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds. The pool is also great. We have stayed here several times over the past decade. Always clean with professional staff, and a very convenient location for walking to a number of lical spots, including the beach. Their pool area is quite nice as well, and always spotlessly clean.

stayed at Hotel Carribe in Rota Spain for several months twice! I was with the US Airforce. The staff and owners of Hotel Caribbe became our Friends and treated us as life long friends! the hotel is absolutely perfect for anyone!

This simple no-frills hotel in downtown Rota is excellent. The complimentary WiFi is very stable with decent speed. There is a walled outdoor swimming pool. They have a buffet style daily breakfast for a nominal fee. Each room has its own AC unit. Just be careful the shower stall is very tiny, and the water temperature can be a bit finicky. Great value for the prices paid!

The location is good, 5 minutes walk to the beach with some nice restaurants close by. It was clean and well maintained with nice helpful staff. The room was pleasent with a nice balcony. The pool was nice and clean but there was a shortage of sunbeds at busy times. I would stay here again.

Clean room. Great price. Courteous staff. Expected the tub to be bigger it is small. It only fits a small person. I’m 5’10 for reference and I was barely in. Expected more hot water. Coming from 🇺🇸 it was nice stay for a very doable price. The receptionist was kind and willing to assist with getting a taxi to arrive. Free Wi-Fi was VERY fast for all my devices. Honestly a quite little family hotel. If you have kids the place is perfect! The swimming pool are nice but not gigantic, the resort is pretty small so they can move and be independent, the kid's club is super active and offering kid's show at night. For adults it's a bit more limited, the lobby's bar is nice but no ambiance, no way to take a coffee outside after 7pm, the only place to eat is the buffet...

Just stayed at Barcelo Costa Ballena with my pro and 10 other ladies. We had a super 5 nights there and would not hesitate to recommend others to this Hotel. The rooms, lobby, reception area, 2 pools bars, restaurant are all great, and staff are friendly and helpful throughout. (Just wish we'd had time to go to the Spa!)

Staying for 4 weeks and all good - nothing major to complain about. All staff are very helpful. We have a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool.. The apartment is a bit aged but everything works but some updating required. No dishwasher but so what?

Room very nice. Unfortunately for the hotel and ourselves the room next to us had some sort of all night party. NOT the hotel's fault but it wasn't conducive to a good nights sleep. Reasonably priced marina with good facilities and the staff is very useful and kind. The surrounding are not very inspiring, but Puerto Sherry is a great place to stop for repairs, as there are good chandlers and boat yards. The entrance is very narrow and probably shouldn't be attempted at night.

Amazing staff, great breakfast but disappointed with room. No kettle or coffee machine and the design of the bed was dreadful. There was no headboard or wall just à gap with a piece of 50mm wood which hurt my head if I sat in bed. We have stayed in a lot of Paradors but wouldn't come back to this one because of the design of the bed. A great shame because everything else was perfect.

It's an old hotel located by the sea, so the facilities are old and the hotel should be updated. The breakfast is neither good nor bad. Overall, the price/performance ratio is average.

Very well located hotel right in the heart of this lovely old city. My room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and tidy. My window overlooks a lovely ( and lively ) little plaza with bars, restaurants and flamenco playing guitarists! This hotel which is located in the middle of old town surprises me with it charm. My room is very small but it’s clean and I love the decor. I love how everything is decorated. Rooms have no A/C. Dusty between furniture. Thermostat only gives heat. With it turned off our room was still warmer than the hallway and outdoors. Parking barely fit a very small economy car. 4point turn needed just to get into the parking garage, and guided by a staff! Great staff, friendly and helpful. Location is a bit of a hike to see anything worthwhile.
