Barcelo Costa Ballena Golf & Spa

Just stayed at Barcelo Costa Ballena with my pro and 10 other ladies. We had a super 5 nights there and would not hesitate to recommend others to this Hotel. The rooms, lobby, reception area, 2 pools bars, restaurant are all great, and staff are friendly and helpful throughout. (Just wish we'd had time to go to the Spa!)

Great place for golfers to begin their journey to become decent golfers and for golfers who can hit the balls more than 200 meters. Great practice facilities. The golf course is in good condition and the Par3-course is fantastic - even on days when there is no electric power in the whole of Spain.

I signed up for the yoga event, which was amazing. It was a good pace and the food was good, worth the price.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel!!! I am especially grateful to Concha Aumesquet who went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and even recommended great beaches!!! I would like to thank Pedro at reception who was so helpful on the phone before my arrival, gave me the quiet room with a great view that I had requested and was so friendly and nice! Iván was the perfect waiter at the snack bar and gave us great recommendations and was professional and has a great smile. Miguel Angel at the snack bar was lovely. Even the cleaners made sure everything was ok and offered tips about the area. The spa was the best I have ever been to and Cristina gave me a wonderful massage. I love everything about this hotel but the people who work there make it kind of magic!!!

Excellent service and very comfortable staying while playing golf. The staff handled the 16 hour power outage brilliantly.

Nice place over all and higly reccoment to go for golf trip. Kind and happy staff and werry helpful to fix anything that need to fix

I was very pleased with my stay at Barceló Costa Ballena Golf & Spa in early April 2025. The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and professional. My room was cleaned daily and I didn’t encounter any insects or pests inside. The Wi-Fi in the room worked well, although there were occasional moments when I had to renew the connection code at the lobby, which was handled without any trouble. I had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the selection of food was good - there was no reason to complain. The outdoor swimming pool was great too, although I mostly relaxed on the sun loungers and enjoyed the sunshine. I played golf every day during my stay. The course is in excellent condition, and the facilities for practice were also very good.

I had a fantastic golf trip! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! I recommend!

Great service, fast and no problems. Rooms are spacious and a nice view on the golf course with a sound of ocean waves. The welcome in the reception is really good and attentive. The buffet has something for everyone and it is good quality on the food.
