Sport Hotel Monte Feliz - powered by Playitas in San Agustin

Stayed here in August. Rooms were great we had a 2 bedroom self catering apartment. Plenty of room, beds were fairly comfortable a little on the hard side for me but I preferred a softer bed. Kitchen was small, simple but adequate. Bathroom was a good size, shower was large and always had hot water and good pressure. The hotel had nice food at a reasonable price. There was a small spa shop that sold most of what you needed (larger supermarket a short walk away) there were lots of sports activities available and classes such as yoga etc the communal pool was large and busy with fun activities during the day such as water polo and aqua aerobics. There were lots of sun beds easily available but we were told that this is three low season and only at half capacity but was still fairly busy each day. Bar, reception and all other areas were clean. All staff were helpful and easy to talk too. The hotel itself is in a quieter location with around 5 outside restaurants near by. There was no nighttime entertainment so if you want a more lively area you can catch a bus/taxi or hire a car. We prefer a quieter hotel that we can relax in.

My stay at Monte Feliz was absolutely amazing! I went there with my football team, for a week of activities, sports and fun, but also for leisure and relaxation.. Rest assured, Monte Feliz made that plan so much easier to accomplish!
I shared a room with 3 others, and the living space was more than enough. The living space, included a kitchen area, a living room (with a TV, couch and dining table), and 2 bedrooms. These features made it easier to prepare ourselves for the day, and helped immensely for comfort. For the one meal that was not included in the package we had (Breakfast & Dinner), my friends and I could prepare in the kitchen area in the room, which was very handy.
The facilities look very professional and seem to be taken care of. The gym had many machines and a good free-weight section. Hygiene rules were also politely asked to be followed by staff and signs around the entrance to the gym. If you forgot your towel in your room, they allow you to loan one for your workout. Overall very positive experience at the gym. The Padel court, Tennis court and Football & Basketball pitch were in good condition. The pool facilities were closed at the time of my visit, however they were kind enough to cooperate with a neighboring hotel, so that we could get access to their pool (about a 5 minute walk downhill).
The food provided was fresh, warm and delicious.. I really enjoyed having scrambled eggs on toast every morning! There was a large variety of foods provided, and all 18 members of my sports-team looked satisfied.
The staff were positive and did their jobs very well and efficiently, so I have no complaints whatsoever! If you plan on visiting gran canaria with a couple of friends, to focus on sports, I highly recommend this hotel!

As a family with 2 children always looked for such places with plenty of activities for children and for us as adults,
This place ticked all boxes,
Great room with fantastic views, pool activities every day, short walk to the beach and plenty of local restaurants and shops.
There is a Local bus station that takes you everywhere around the island.
The resort restaurant is great with different food every day, in the room also there was a fully kitted kitchen if you want to cook yourself, but what’s the point when you come here to relax.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and thank you to all the staff that have been so amazing.

The hotel was excellent. Rooms were clean, modern, and well-presented. One of the standout features was the gym—it felt like a proper commercial facility rather than a typical underwhelming hotel gym, with plenty of quality equipment for a full workout. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The outdoor pool was warm and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax and sunbathe throughout the day. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight, with a great range of clean, protein-rich options including eggs, meats, and even ready-made protein shakes—perfect for anyone trying to stay on track with their fitness while travelling. The hotel’s location was ideal: tucked away from the noise and busyness of the main tourist areas, offering a much more relaxed vibe, but still easily accessible via regular local buses. Overall, a great spot to unwind, train, and enjoy some quiet time in the sun.

This hotel really is excellent. The apartment is clean and well equipped and cleaned regularly. The staff are friendly and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The pool area is perfect with ample sun beds and a lovely pool bar. David the life guard is exceptional with the highlight of the day being a fitness class he takes part in. The music is great. We had a problem with our TV not working properly, this was promptly dealt with. Today a bottle of champagne was delivered to our room for the inconvenience. Outstanding!

We recently returned from a very enjoyable week (NOV. 24) at this complex, this is definitely ideal if you are looking for an active, sporty holiday....excellent onsite modern fully equipped gym (free for guests) ....all kinds of classes (aerobics, spinning, body pump etc..) on all day in 4 large areas within the grounds..staff very friendly and efficient, rooms a good size and well equipped if in need of a little TLC just a little mostly absolutely fine, we had no complaints...the resort of Bahia Feliz is very quiet with limited restaurants, but they were good and fine for a weeks stay...we would return definitely

A wonderful resort to enjoy your holidays with family and friends! Unique sports facilities (gym with top-class equipment, WOD box, areas for yoga and group training, tennis, paddle tennis, swimming pools and cycling center, within the same complex). Nice place to visit, and very nice view. Although when i was exploring the hotel i found a bunch of alive cockroaches in the hallway by the elevator. One of my favourite things about te hotel is the black cat😸 It was very friendly and once came inside of my apartment so i gave her a bit of food. If the cat happens to follow you to your apartment you can carry her in your arms to the lobby, she wont mind😺

This is a no frills but really lovely hotel for the price! We had a very large apartment which was clean and very spacious for 2 adults and 2 young children! All crockery needed and a big fridge to make breakfast in the apartment and shopping facilities and restaurants on your doorstep! Nice reception staff and a chilled environment! Few things could be updated like the children’s play area and the splash pad didn’t seem to be working but otherwise really happy for the money we paid
