Hotel New Folias

This hotel exceeded my expectations, I stayed 2 nights at the beginning of my trip and 2 nights at the end of the trip and I really wish I spent more time there! The staff are so welcoming and very pleasant in particular Omar at reception who was super friendly, professional and patient and provided good advice on the local area. The pool guy (sorry didn't get the name) was very accommodating, making sure everyone has a sun-lounger and would move it wherever you wanted it, lovely guy.
I loved the LOCATION! 5 minute walk to a nice beach, 5-10 minute walk to a shopping centre and less than 10 minute walk from the buses that service the airport and most other areas in Gran Canaria. Lots of plants and nature around and not too crowded with people considering the busy month of August.
The room was a good size, modern, clean with very good air-conditioning. The sea/ pool/ plant view was magnificent! both on the 5th floor as well as the 2nd floor.

Hotel was beautiful, very clean and tidy. Staff were very polite, welcoming and helpful! Our stay was wonderful, hotel location is 2 mins from a gorgeous beach, bus stops right outside and food/shops all very close

Very nice hotel. Me and my partner stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The sunbeds and pool was very nice. The staff was very helpful and the room got cleaned.very close to the city were it is a lot of restaurants and shops. Very close to the beach were u can bath and have a drink at a bar. The staff helps u with taxi if u want to travel to another place.

Stayed here for a week and it was really nice. Very good location, very nice room with a kitchen that has all the necessary appliances (super important). I really enjoyed the view and the staff were also really nice.

The only small downside is that if you have a loud neighbor you will hear everything even if you close the balcony.

Depending what you expect from 3 star hotel and that you want on your holiday 😉.

We had 6 great days, thank you. We were very impressed with the bicycle room and all the tools available. All day sun balcony, even a coffee machine in the room, and the big pool. Best hotel in Masp :)

I was fine. Excellent value for money, excellent breakfasts and comfortable room. Nice and kind staff, especially the girl at the reception Cris.

It was a very nice hotel, the room was clean as were all the common areas. Plenty of food at the buffet style breakfast catering to English, Spanish and other European diets.

The pool was beautiful, cleaned daily and there were plenty of sunbeds. I liked that the children's pool was faraway from the main pool. The staff at the hotel were all polite, saying hello, or good morning etc depending on the time of day.

The pool bar manager was really nice, spoke very good English and was helpful also. A very special mention must go to the hotel manager, Azahara Campos, who through her impeccable English, made our checking in and our stay delightful. She knew all the best places to go and recommended some great bars and restaurants.

A great bonus staying at this hotel is that there is a sandy beach only 5 minutes walk in one direction and the centre commercial is 10 minutes in the other direction where there are numerous bars and restaurants.
