We had a sea view room that was literally on the beach, the position couldn't be beaten and it was lovely to hear the sea whilst laying in the comfy beds. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed these on the ample terrace that also fronted the beach. The price for food and drink was reasonable. We would highly recommend the Hotel Continental.

Sadly have to revise this review downward significantly after stopping in multiple times in the afternoon for so Salmorejo. Service is terrible, servers attitude horrificly disrespectful and service virtually non existent. Not a one off bad experience from afternoon dining room staff unfortunately.
Always enjoy their Motown night dancing, food is always good and staff mostly pleasant. Manager is always very nice. Restaurant staff sometimes a little grumpy but thats offset by the rest. Nice mid level property local family owned. Always enjoy my stops for lunch or dinner and dancing.

We have been coming to this small hotel over many years.
Why do we repeat returning?
From the moment you reserve online or by phone call, you can guarantee 1st class Service from the reception management.
This is a boutique hotel overlooking the beach, in fact it is on the beach. Hotel Continental offers rooms on two floors, all with good size balconies overlooking the beach. The bar and dining areas are also overlooking the beach, plenty of space to relax and dine. There is a discotheque attached to the hotel which is in the basement which is open at weekends.
Hotel Continental is a Family owned business, it attracts like minded people, travellers who appreciate small intimate hotels where they know they get the personal touch. I’ve given up on the 5star hotels where one is just a number.
These hotels like Hotel Continental are the gems in the list of the hotel directory.

Called in for a drink and some food as they have a lovely terrace at the back overlooking the beach. Bottle of wine was fine . Later we ordered some food from the limited menu.
The Toasted Sandwich with fries was OK if a little over done.
I ordered the Roasted Pepper salad which when it came was a surprise. It wasn’t a salad with lettuce and Tomato. This was more like a soup. The peppers had been cooked to a mush which, served cold was delicious and would have made a great side dish with Fish or Meat. Buy on its own?
However our biggest disappointment was the fish and chips with Peas. We were told there were no garden Peas only Mushy.
When it came the Mushy peas were cold so we asked if they could be heated up.
Sadly they weren’t returned to the table until the food was finished.
When we complained the waiter sad it wasn’t his fault he was “ on his own”.
Maybe they need to think about staffing for the future.
Such a shame as this venue is getting popular but it won’t last if service is poor.

It's one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few over many years. The location is beautiful. One step and you are on the beach. The staff and food are very good. Nothing is too much for them. The room was spotless. I will visit again soon. Thank you for a great stay.

There was 10 of us on our trip for birthday celebrations. The hotel was perfect. Fab location right on the beach great pool and general all round services. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were made very welcome throughout our visit and because of that we will definitely return.

I loved everything about this hotel. The plentiful choice at breakfast. Great morning coffee. The restaurant lunch Time menu was reasonable. The pool area set up was good to. New loungers and umbrellas the location on the beach. We booked a sea view room which was extremely quiet with a balcony but unfortunately it was too hot to sit out on during our stay. The room although compact it had an exceptional Aircon system and a normal fridge. Loved the walk in shower as not a fan of showers over bath. Free safe to. Parking on site.

Our fourth stay and our last. Our air conditioning didn't work and they said they didn't know but we had a fan in the room which meant the last guest had a fan because the air con didn't work! Why lie? Disappointing as we asked on day 2 at breakfast for it to be fixed or to move rooms. We came back from work to find the man had done nothing about it and the lady on reception tried to help but maintenance said it was broken and offered a mobile unit in the end which we couldn't have as we can't have the back door open fully all night. Our fridge had a rotten milk smell and the lady changed it, shame the man on reception ignored our request for help.
Breakfast wasn't as good as you have one pod coffee machine and have to queue behind people who don't know how to use it. It's too slow for having 1. We won't be again as werent offered any money off or anything when air con didnt work. Its a shame as we liked the location.
Tip: don't eat there, worst ribs we have ever had (on rib night)and lasagne over microwaved till was dry and crispy.

We were in the bottom rooms , room 9
As we had a baby. They provided a cot, mattress ( a good thick one at that!) and lining and a wee pillow. The cot and sheets were immaculate! Very clean rooms. Bed and pillows was comfy The only downfall for the rooms is that the walls are thin so we could hear next door talking ect ( thankfully it was just the in-laws)
Also the plug placement right over the bed is a bit inconvenient I think it should be moved.
Breakfast was delicious! Great choices to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Will definitely recommend and be back
