Hospedium Hotel Continental

It's one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few over many years. The location is beautiful. One step and you are on the beach. The staff and food are very good. Nothing is too much for them. The room was spotless. I will visit again soon. Thank you for a great stay.

There was 10 of us on our trip for birthday celebrations. The hotel was perfect. Fab location right on the beach great pool and general all round services. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were made very welcome throughout our visit and because of that we will definitely return.

I loved everything about this hotel. The plentiful choice at breakfast. Great morning coffee. The restaurant lunch Time menu was reasonable. The pool area set up was good to. New loungers and umbrellas the location on the beach. We booked a sea view room which was extremely quiet with a balcony but unfortunately it was too hot to sit out on during our stay. The room although compact it had an exceptional Aircon system and a normal fridge. Loved the walk in shower as not a fan of showers over bath. Free safe to. Parking on site.

As we had a baby. They provided a cot, mattress ( a good thick one at that!) and lining and a wee pillow. The cot and sheets were immaculate! Very clean rooms. Bed and pillows was comfy The only downfall for the rooms is that the walls are thin so we could hear next door talking ect ( thankfully it was just the in-laws)
Also the plug placement right over the bed is a bit inconvenient I think it should be moved.

Breakfast was delicious! Great choices to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Escaping the freezing cold weather of Canada, we decided to spend some quality time this January in Mojacar. With a high of 19oC today and sunny weather ahead, what's not to like?

Yesterday we stopped by the Hotel Continental beachside restaurant for lunch. One of the best locations you will find directly on the Mediterranean in Mojacar. Even in January, people were out and about walking along the sunny deserted beach.

With it being a quieter time of year for the year round residents, the pace of life is very agreeable. As is the reduced volume of cars on the road and no problem finding parking anywhere you choose to go.

The Hotel Continental staff are very friendly and upbeat. You feel well looked after as you peruse the various menu options available. We had the Rack of Ribs with BBQ Sauce; absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth tender. Fresh soups and Salads were another option. There is also a Snack Bar area offering Sandwiches and Baguettes. (See Photos posted)

Our server Klara was delightful and very efficient in helping us select our food choices. Everything was home made, hot and delicious. We will most certainly return.

With it being off-season, many of the regular restaurants are only serving tapas at lunch time or stay closed until 7:00 p.m. when the dinner menu is available. Thankfully, Hotel Continental are happy to see you at any time. Their Café con Leche is the best I have tried in Mojacar.

What a fantastic little hotel that just seemed to keep on giving a terrace you could nearly put your feet in the sea , the staff seemed that they wanted to please you all the time and even cooked a fresh breakfast other than the buffet. The late music bar was at the end of the hotel and underground so there was no noise transmission, I defiantly want to return, it was pleasure to stay there

We recently returned to this hotel, which is our favourite in Mojacar due to its location right on the beach. Hotels are no longer allowed to be built on the beach side in Mojacar so this is the only one (I’m aware of) due to it being built many years ago. The hotel is old, yet has been modernised with stylish and contemporary designs and finishes. There’s still room for improvement, such as the soil border between the restaurant and the beach hasn’t been planted and other minor things, but the stunning location far outweighs any negatives. We really enjoyed having a G &T on the hotel terrace watching the windsurfers and paraglide, kiteboarders. Our room and large balcony was right on the beach and had everything you could want, including an extremely comfortable bed. We fell asleep and woke up in the morning to sound of the sea, absolutely beautiful. The view of sunset and especially the moonlight on the ocean from the hotel is also beautiful. The restaurant, again right on the beach, serves a delicious breakfast with freshly cooked options, freshly squeezed orange juice, full barista coffee to order and everything you could want including healthy options. We always had an extra coffee after breakfast because the location is so nice. The hotel also offers meals and snacks throughout the day. The pool area has been recently refurbished and drinks from the bar are served there. We had no problem getting sun beds etc during our stay in June. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to visiting the Hospedium Hotel Continental again in future. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time in the hotel, the location on the seashore is perfect, the sea is so close and you can’t get enough of the view.

There are plenty of amenities around, loads of restaurants to choose from but do not miss the delicious menu and paella on site, to die for !

The breakfast has a wide choice of traditional food and once again, many good options, with local selection, incredible bread selection and cooked choices.

We had a sea view balcony and have enjoyed every minute of it, with only sand separating our balcony from the sea.

All this couldn’t be good without the help and dedication of the staff. They are all very pleasant, funny, professional and can’t do enough to help you have a lovely time. A big thank you to Rodie, Séverine, Rocio and the charming lady from Liege as well as the chamber maid staff.

Do not miss either a cocktail by the pool, the raspberry mojito and pina coladas are to die for 😍.

All in all a 3 star hotel which operates way above its level, thank you to all the stall members 👍🏻👍👍🏿
