Servigroup Marina Playa Hotel

Strange being in such a big hotel out of season, the pool was great and the manager was kind enough to turn on the kids water for a while so the kids could enjoy the kids pool slides and cannons. We were there on days with no animation so difficult to comment. The receptionists were helpful. The shower in the room smelt very bad when we arrived of feet, but the reception got housekeeping to spray the room (too much aerosol) we used the shower mat to avoid touching the shower floor. Room was otherwise kept clean and beds turned down each day / towels replaced. Disappointed with the spa, was expecting more luxurious setting. Jacuzzi again smelt really unpleasant (friend said likely lots of chlorine) - steam room wasn't working but smelt of farts. Sauna was good. Food in restaurant was generally good and lots of choice. Bar service was good, but setting was a bit depressing with only a few people there. With a car location was fine, otherwise far from other restaurants, shops and bars.

We headed over for a European Track day and this is the second time we’ve been and it is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it’s kept impeccably clean and the staff are so very nice and welcoming and what’s more there is nothing they won’t do to make your stay and experience even better. This is the second time here and Im already looking forward to returning next year.

Stayed for a No Limits track event at Andalucia Circuit. The hotel was great. The rooms were clean. The food was decent. The staff were cheerful and pleasant. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Great long weekend for a bit ow sunny down time

We thoroughly enjoyed 3 nights at Servigroup Mojácar Playa. All meals taken were excellent. We had full board and found dri ks in the restaurant to be of average price for a 4 star hotel. The pools were excellent especially the one that appeared to be salt water. Beautiful view up to Mojacar Pueblo from the very comfortable room that also had a Seaview. The restaurant was very well run by the first class restaurant manager and all his very pleasant staff. We enjoyed the Girasol sitting area in particular and all staff who worked in there at lunch and dinner were particularly friendly as were the girls who checked you in for meals. The housekeeping staff, pool staff and maintenence men all worked hard to keep place clean and tidy. The only thing we found better at the Marina Mar was the indoor leisure facilities and the bar at the side of the hotel had a bit more life than the beach bar at the Marina Playa. The entertainment in both hotels was geared towards children but that was not a problem but maybe a few activities geared towards adults would be good. Building work was going on at the hotel next door which was a bit off putting when we arrived but never really noticed it whilst in hotel itself. All and all a great stay and hope to return.

1st time in this hotel. Staff are great, hotel clean food good , can get a bus transport outside good. Indoor pool is a bonus if weather is poor or like me you don't like cold water but could do with a bit of a refurbishment. All round lovely stay would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Just WOW! The standard of care in this hotel is perfect....a truly fabulous team of people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The reception and restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning team....all superb!! A special thank you to Vanessa in the bar!!! The rooms are not the most modern but the hotel is immaculate with comfortable beds and great showers!.... Tea and coffee making facilities would be truly welcome in the room The view from our room was spectacular....We could never tire of it My husband really enjoyed the pool and spa facilities, said they were excellent. The restaurant facilities were so well managed. Two really large groups arrived whilst we were there and every single member of staff worked so hard to accommodate everyone. The choices of breakfast, lunch and dinner were great quality, varied and well presented (I was concerned as we had read some poor reviews.....totally untrue!) Even the hotel Manager took the time to introduce herself to us ....once again so friendly All in all a fantastic stay. We have worked in tourism for over 30 years and know how difficult this type of work can be..... 10/10 !!! and Congratulations Team Marina Playa. We are already planning our next visit !!!
