Ibis Barcelona Aeropuerto Viladecans

You know what you pay for when staying at an Ibis. It’s pretty consistent across. The hotel main area was on the modern side and felt inviting. The rooms on the smaller side but for a single night, that’s more than acceptable. Also I am not sure if the hotel wasn’t busy or the rooms were well insulated, but I didn’t hear anything throughout the night.

The only let down for me during this stay was the slow check-in process. The staff seems to wear multiple hats (half bar tender, half receptionist). In fact the check- in desk is at the end of the bar, so I wasn’t sure whether to order a beer or ask for my room key🤣. Also, despite having completed the online check-in a day before arrival on the Accor website, my details were still asked at reception. Kinda defeats the purpose.

Additionally, the hotel charges a €7 parking fee but there doesn’t seem to be any verification process as we exited?? Note there is a free car park just next door.

Lastly, there were some leftovers of human hair stuck in our shower door…

I am only giving a 4 star due to the reasons mentioned above. I don’t think this would prevent me from returning here again should I need to catch an early flight from BCN airport.

Well located to the airport and the beach, as well as shopping outlets. Super nice staff in the restaurant, and a great little menu with pizzas, salads, burgers, and drinks. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Hotel is near to the airport and very far away from the main area. Hotel is very nice, we have breakfast buffet and it was every nice. Although room for 3 was very small. Bathroom had bare space for standing. Room was clean. Service was very nice. Common area is very lively and well lit even at midnight.

First of all, although this was the first time that me and my wife and I have stayed in a one-star hotel , I believe this is a solid 4-star review hotel. I am so much thankful to the guy Jusef for his excellent approach.

He was extra helpful with communicating everything and helped us a lot. Give this guy a raise seriously 👏 🙌

Thanks to Carlos for his great service at the Reception. I came early and the room was ready. I kindly asked for higher floor and got it. The room was clean and the view from the room was amazing.

Will definitely come back to this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel, location is very good: close to public transport and supermarkets. rooms are clean, quit and neat. the most important is the reception staff, they are all great, namely Santi and Meriyam they are so kind and helpful, smiling and ready to assist.
I enjoyed my stay here and I do recommend it.
