AC Hotel Sants by Marriott

I had a very upsetting experience at this hotel. My bag was stolen directly from the hotel lobby — a place that should be safe and monitored. Shockingly, the only “security measures” in place were small cards on tables warning guests to beware of pickpockets. If theft is that common, the hotel should be taking far more serious precautions — like visible staff presence, surveillance cameras, or secure key entry requirements to enter certain areas.

To make matters worse, the response from the hotel staff was extremely unhelpful. As a foreign guest who doesn't speak the local language, I felt completely unsupported. There was no effort to bridge the language barrier, offer real assistance, or even show concern beyond the most basic reaction. I was left to deal with everything on my own in an unfamiliar country.

This experience was deeply frustrating and disappointing. I expected a safe environment and basic support from the staff — neither of which was provided. I strongly recommend that other travelers, especially international visitors, look elsewhere. Your safety and peace of mind are not guaranteed here.

Bonvoy TE here; I would avoid this hotel. AC broke twice in my room, ran into people in the very slow elevators with broken AC as well. Did not honor my TE status with breakfast. Noisy location both with traffic and also a park with people/dogs very late. It is very well located and the staff were nice but way too many negatives to consider again.

This was my second time staying at this property, and the second time was a huge letdown in comparison to the first time. First, I want to give recognition to three phenomenal employees who set the bar high that every Marriott employee should strive to achieve. Thank you Lidia, Rafey and David! I’m a Marriott Titanium member and my room was not upgraded, and I noticed there were available vacancies. The bed was absolutely horrible, and as other people have mentioned, makes lots of noise between the mattress and the frame. What is the best Marriott pillows I’ve had in years! The most disappointing aspect was in comparison to my first visit when I had phenomenal food in the restaurant downstairs in the lobby. This second time the kitchen was closed for most of the week and unable to serve any warm food for either breakfast or dinner at night. That is completely unacceptable and why I have redone my previous positive review to a more negative one.
