The average review is a 4 star, which I would agree with.
Too many 1 star reviews though that are not accurate. Nice, clean hotel with comfortable bed and quiet rooms. Very quiet when considering the square it sits on. I slept like a baby.
The bathroom/shower is camper style, hence it loses a star. But by European standards, this is normal.
Best water pressure and shower experience though in 3 weeks of traveling through Europe. Don't believe the haters, they just don't want to shell out on the Ritz. This place is perfect for price.

Nice hotel… not so walkable area, but very good location if you need to move around Barcelona.
They are just across the street from the main public transport station where you can take almost any transportation to any part of the town

Unfortunately the beds are horrible. If they would just have put a topper mattress on, it would make a huge difference.
The location is very good, close to the station and walking distance to many areas of the city.
A lot of dust buildup, which would be easily removed (we removed most) if they actually priotized cleaning of the rooms.
You wont hear much noise from the streets, but the noise from other rooms is loud.
It does not feel like a 4 star experience.

The only thing good is the hotel located right next to the Barcelona Sants rail station, however there is road work around the hotel.
The price is expensive considering the overall quality of the hotel. Well, it's summer so get ready!!!
When we checked in, the Asian girl was nice, then the rest of the time when we passed by the reception, there was nobody. We called from the room, and nobody ever answered the phone... service was terrible!
The design of the room is ONLY suitable for solo passenger or two people who have an intimate relationship or family has no kid, since there is absolutely NO privacy because the bathroom area is completely open! The sink is right next to the bed, the shower and the toilet are looked like in the closets or cubes..
We booked because they are under the chain of Marriott, but we left very disappointed!

The rooms are what you’d expect - pretty basic, clean and typical for a train station hotel. What blows this place away is the breakfast offering. Exceptionally fresh ingredients, extensive cold and hot options and unusual pasties. We were totally surprised by breakfast. Staff were incredibly friendly as well. Would definitely come back here.

It was a very short but very comfortable stay, the room is comfortable and functional, the details are fantastic, both the coffee and the slippers. The ideal place to get around Barcelona. Without a doubt I will repeat.

We were received in a friendly professional manner. The rooms were clean and compact, in line with what one can expect for the price. A 4 Star hotel, however, it is not, hence the three stars I give it in my evaluation. In a 4 Star Hotel the beds do no not stand on shaky legs, the wall separating the toilette from the shower is of a more robust material, the fridge is not just 15 cm deep, so that I cannot even put a bottle of wine in there. Having said all that, the rooms were acceptably clean, and in good shape. The proximity to the station is incredibly useful (30 Min with R2N). So if you do not expect a real 4 Star Hotel you will get a good deal here.

Good breakfast. Nice rooms. For some reason alarm in hotel kept going off all night, around 2am, and I could hardly sleep. Close to metro station which was nice and staff spoke English. Not sure why the blaring alarms were so obnoxious and couldn’t be turned off.

Good hotel, located very close (about 100m) of the Barcelona Sants station so very convenient when using public transportation and coming from al prat airport. The hotel rooms were clean and modern, the bed itself isn’t bad but ours was on wheels which isn’t always practical. The staff was very helpful and kind.
