Hotel Pilar Plaza

The location is perfect, directly in front of the Basilica! Although a room facing it will cost more. The triple room has a huge king-size bed and a twin, and the bathroom has a "space capsule" vertical jacuzzi. The room a/c was adequate. Discounted Parking is underneath the plaza, and an elevator exits right by the hotel entrance.
The breakfast buffet was quie good.

We really loved our room with the interesting layout and view from the balcony was absolutely stunning!
The location of the hotel is excellent, however this comes at a price of being woken up by all the street noise of late party-goers at 3am and bells of the cathedral from early hours of the morning, every 15mins.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The first couple of floors smelt like sewerage in the corridors, but seemed to have cleared on the second day of our stay.

Superb location in heart of old historic city. Convenient car park adjacent. Nice reception. Room had nice big comfortable bed. En suite shower room had the necessities. Big TV.
Room cleaned well and promptly each day. Breakfast had good selection and very pleasant young lady to look after hot drink orders.
Could do with a handyman to deal with cosmetic scars that time and use inflicts.
Overall a very good place.

We stayed in a room just in front of the Basilica del Pilar and it was an extraordinary experience.
You can look through the window at night and in the morning and see the grand Basilica. Great view by the window as l read one of my favorite books and had a great conversation with my husband because cit is super quiet and tranquil. There is always room to improve - the rooms are one of those needing an upgrade.

+ Hotel faces the cathedral and is very near to most major attractions and landmarks Receptionist a young man was very helpful and pleasant.
- Breakfast service on the 2nd day was very slow, she was not a happy person in her work. On our first day the server a young girl with glasses was superb and very helpful

Hotel location is the bonus here and we booked through AirBNB so great value.

Parking is nearby (around the block) in an underground car park and hotel residents get a slight reduction on the parking fee.

The hotel bar has a small menu and despite me asking if they had all items, when I ordered my vegan burger, they didn't have it. However, they removed some drinks from our bill to make up for it.

Breakfast was reduced from €15 to €12 on offer and Vegan options at the breakfast were very limited - mushrooms and toast.

The room and bathroom were clean but a little tired and could with updating. Screen cast to the TV was great so we could still watch Netflix.

Eco friendly bathroom elements were great and the staff were very friendly and spoke English.

Walking to the main church square was great as only took a few minutes - one street away.

We will stay here again, but probably eat elsewhere as we did see quite a few local places with multiple vegan food options.

The location is right in the middle of everything. The front desk personnel was very helpful with a lot of recommendations. The room was large, with a huge bed (2m/2m at least), very clean and modern minimal furnished. The bathroom was very big and modern and clean. Housekeeper came every day to tidy the room. NOTE: use the AC to heat up the room very fast; there is no mini fridge

Excellent disposition - in the heart of the Central place of Zaragoza!
Excellent service by the personnel, good living conditions.

The hotel itself was ok, but it needs some cosmetic repair. We really liked the view from our window and the proximity of the parking.

The location of the hotel is great, parking in the underground public parking is only a few meters away from the door. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the plaza and the Basilica. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. The receptionist Carmen was excellent and spoke very good English (she did let us practice our Spanish indulgently). Breakfast was served in the atmospheric basement, good variety of options.
The hotel have a deal with the parking garage, when you check out of the hotel you hand them the parking ticket, pay the lower fee and they endorse the ticket.
Be aware that the bells on the Basilica toll every 15 minutes in the daytime - started at 8am but with balcony door shut it was hardly audible - we left the door open and enjoyed hearing them.
