Zaragoza, Joaquin Costa, 5 🧭 Map
We’ve stayed here twice and both times have been superb. The staff are so friendly and the location can’t be beat. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel is a little tired in parts though, and the bathrooms are quite old-fashioned, but other than that I’d highly recommend.
First reason to stay here, the staff. They are amazing, and are there at every turn to assist. Check-in was a breeze, starting from valeting the car, through recommendations on area dining, attractions, etc. Next, the room was spacious, clean, and ready. Third, the breakfast is magnificent. Variety and quality made it a buffet to remember. Finally, location. It's a short walk to the old town, and is...
This hotel is an interesting curiosity. It wants to be a like a 5-star place, and the service and public areas are up to that level, but things like the tiny lift and limited-size bathrooms mean that in some ways it feels like a city boutique hotel. We had a very good night's sleep and paid a very fair price. Underground parking 300m from the hotel was €10 for 24 hours, which we felt was OK. There...
We had a fantastic stay at Gran Hotel. Special mention to the wonderful gastronomic offer & service at their restaurant, including the morning breakfast! We highly recommend it if you travel to Zaragoza!
Such a great service and food in the city center of Zaragoza! We came here on vacation, I had dinner with my family at the bar La Ontina in this Hotel and the meal was delicious, there was a lot of variety and good options for everyone. The service was so nice in a beautiful environment. I definitely recommend having dinner at La Ontina.
A comfortable stay with great location to the old town. The room is very clean and dust-free. Bathroom is spacious with plush towels. No complaints at all with the room. Parking is extremely difficult here along the streets. Take note that overnight parking at the hotel is 24.20Euros a day.

Excellent hôtel both modern and elegant with plenty of wood. Room very comfortable. Generous breakfast in the eating area. Service is welcoming and friendly.
The rooms have everything you need BUT THE AIR CONDITIONING IS CONTROLLED BY FRONT DESK or some system that turns it off without you realizing it. If you try to re start it, it will not. PLEASE stop doing this if you consider yourselves a 5-star hotel. I called the from desk and the lady said “turn down the thermostat”…. Of course that did not work either. Breakfast buffet was good.
We stayed here last week really disappointing as you arrive to be told you have to park across the street in a underground car park and by the way its 16 euros a day !! This needs to be added to their website! So people are aware no parking and have to pay 16 euros. The hotel were very accommodating when we couldn't get our vans in to the ungrounded due to height. They let us park in their underground...
Great location and clean rooms. Certainly can do much better in the rooftop service. Waiting an hour and a bit for the food. Which we found out later the waiter forgot to put the order through.
shower was in middle of the room and u can see the blur of the persons body which was strange and unbeknownst before I arrived. gym was kinda under construction/-adjacent to it but still usable. room service cleans daily and the location was central to everything we were doing, and there were some solid restaurants nearby
Nice hotel with good restaurant as well às rooftop bar.... located in heart of Zaragoza and most of the attractions are at walking distance

First night impressions...elderly clerk seems less than inviting. Wanted to charge ,90 for coffee pods for the room. Building in and out has an outdated charm, like an old lady wearing out her fine clothes from her youth. Hotel seems desolate and depressing with a hint of past charm.
A bit dated but good location
Excellent central city hotel, as a result rather expensive. The young lady on reception was immensely helpful and our room was comfortable, spacious and clean. It was a great base for seeing the city.
Very nicely located hotel in the centre of the beautiful city.
- Very central - Large bed - Spacious room - Helpful staff
Very clean, and very polite staff. Comfortable bed the size of a tennis court. However, the noise coming up from the street all night long was horrendous. Packs of happy (?) youths cheerily called to each other with tremendous energy until we got up for breakfast. Not the fault of the hotel, but maybe they have rooms at the back where the aural stimulation is much less.

Spotlessly clean, well laid out studio apartment, good value for money. Staff were really helpful.
For the price we paid the room was ok, shower head was old, breakfast is not included 10€ per person, neither is parking thats 12 € extra. In the other places we stayed everything was included and for a way lower price. I recommend if you do park there it's a small vehicle as the parking garage is tight. The location though is fabulous, public transportation available close by, a mall just in case...
Do not park here! Parking is limited, much narrower than parking in Japan(!), and frequently obstructed by pillars. Beyond that the hotel is simple, but clean. The breakfast is decent. Bus cards can be purchased across the street at the tobacco shop, and there's a nearby tram that will take you directly to Old Town.
Best place if you go to world trade center Zaragoza
Hotel is pretty cramped. Rooms barely fit the bed. Bathroom sink is not useful to put your stuff. As most hotels in Spain, the bathtub is partially enclosed so you always wet the floor. Parking is extremely tight even for medium cars. Worst part is breakfast, don't pay for it as there a lot of bars and cafes around it. Food is stale and doesn't taste good.
100% recommend!

Fantastic staff, friendly and efficient. Hotel is in a good location, near the old town of Zaragoza. Dog friendly too. We used the car lift down to the underground car park, quite an experience. Very reasonable price for one night. Add-on for parking €18 and dog €10.
We had good time stying here but as receptionist said you will get a good view from window that was not there ..Rest all was good.🙂
The wheelchair accessible room is perfect! Breakfast is outstanding. Awesome staff. Pretty good location, near downtown and right next to many public transit options. Absolutely recommended!
Very nice place to vist stayed for a couple of days near to a lot of attractions This hotel does not have restaurants in evening or bar but staff are great and helpful
Good location, with onsite parking (around 18€). Room is big. Bathroom is nice too. No view.
Low cost high quality hotel. The only downside is the free breakfast is just coffee, fruit, juice and cookies due to Covid. The restaurant was closed. Room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. Perfect location, walking distance to the Palace and also to the Taoas. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is located in the perfect place. Garage in the downtown is a great solution, and it isn't expansive. I couldn't change speed on AC ,so it works on its own way, or you have to turn it off. Little but annoying in hot days.
Location is great but the rooms were lacking some basic things. Not enough charging ports near the beds, no bin apart from the bathroom, air con didn't work, and the WiFi was terrible. Perfect location for the basilica however.
The hotel is great especially the help desk and the workers in general. 5 out of 5 stars for Chema at the front desk for being so helpful and nice with us! The only issues we had was with the ongoing construction that there was outside because the walls are quite thin, but luckily the hotel is very close to the main street but not directly facing it so it was very quiet. I definitely recommend!
Very kind people are running this place. The room was big enough, very centrally located. No coffee machine in the room, but there are two cafes within a minute.
Everything was perfect, the lady at reception was lovely and very helpful. Great rooms, good location in the old town, a bit of noise at night from street bars, but all in all, good value for money.
We would highly recommend this hotel. The location is incredible and the room was lovely and dark (with the shutters closed) and quiet and the beds very comfortable. We would not have woken up without an alarm!!! Everything was spotlessly clean. Reception staff were super welcoming and helpful. Despite being so quiet, it is in the centre of the historic part of town and the cafe on the corner 1885...

Room was very good clean Service was very kind from all staff And location is really good . You are near with everything to visit.. restaurant tapas shopping area 😊we will come back for sure
I liked the hotel, i spend one night only without breakfast so I have nothing to comment on that. I had a problem with the bathroom water not going down but it was fixed straight ahead. I saw some dirt on the bed sheets but nowhere else. Overall, its very good for its price.
the hotel is perfectly located - close to many attractions in zaragossa and the room we stayed in was really really nice - didn’t expect this quality for the low price totally recommend to stay here for your visit
For the price we couldn't have picked a better location to visit the old town. Parking in the underground opposite is a bit pricey
The location is excellent, it's right in the heart of Zaragoza, but because of its architecture it's rather quiet. My room was small, but well-equipped and comfortable. The breakfast isn't outstanding, but diverse and satisfying. For this price I think this is a very good catch.

Nice location with river views and 2min walking distance to "Basilica del Pilar". Great value. We tried the restaurant and it has good quality food at a reasonable price.
It's a really nice hotel. Very central, very clean, great staff. For a few extra euros you can get a room with a great view, some have even balconies. Well worth it!!
Impossibly small rooms but everything you need with real queen beds and amazing showers. Staff is friendly, prices are great, and location is amazing
The room was verrryyy coold and the heating was not really working. The floor is uncovered stone freezing your feet. Brrakfast is good location is great.
Nice hotel, very well located, however the isolation is very bad. We were 2nd floor and could hear the tramway all the time + everything that was happening outside + in the corridor. We didn’t sleep very well because of that. Service was great, especially the person at the reception on Friday 1st march at night. Rooms are correct, but bed are not double ones, only 2 separate beds stuck together
Good level hotel. Good breakfast. Excellent position

Nice hotel and staff are good. Saw previous reviews and I see below problems are not taken care, hopefully they do 1. Weak Wifi 2. Aircondition in room is not cooling as needed. 3. Maybe they change the breakfast menu sometimes. I heard that they don't provide water and kettle as complimentary anymore.
Great location, good parking, great little hotel.
It’s a cozy hotel with nice rooms. It was a bit hot in the room, but the staff said that the air ventilation system wasn’t working yet. Location is probably not the best as it takes some time to walk to the Old Town, but it’s still walking distance. The bathrooms are spacious and have toiletries.
Staff is kind and polite. Room and bathroom were clean. Good location in city centre.
Good value for money, good location, a little bit outdated
Excellent service and garage access is seamless. The receptionist who checked us in was super polite, kind and helpful. This would be five stars, but the mattresses are a bit old and need replacing. Other than that, the rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were nice. It was great to have a full-sized bath tub.

Room had strange knocking sounds all the time. Bathroom door wasn’t working properly and I was expecting a smart tv, didn’t have it. The Gym is very small and you need to call before-hand to use the steam bath so it wasn’t working when I went there. The pool and view are very nice however
This is a 5 star, according to its own proclamations. I think it dates back to the '80's, but has been sort of refurbished in 2015. Either way, this is a luxury Hotel with an '80's feel to it, and the quality of the materials used is astounding throughout. And it's not expensive. Service was excellent at the reception desk. Garage extremely convenient. And somebody cleaned my filthy cat windscreen...
Amazing showers. Great rooms. Internet that makes you yearn for the days of dial up modems since those would have been faster. For all the pomp and flair they have thrown into the decor, you think they would have made the bare minimum effort to supply functional internet. But no. That is too much to ask. There's an anecdote about judging a book by it's cover...and maybe there is an equivalent to hotel...
My experience at this hotel was truly exceptional. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and elegantly designed. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. The on-site dining was a culinary delight, and the amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were top-notch. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. I can't recommend this hotel...
This hotel is adjacent to the Aragonia mall. For the Reasonable price We stayed one night, some thoughts: 1.Bed is too Jumpy 2.WiFi very slow 3.No Coffee machine in the Room !? 4. Sound insulation is poor - you can hear next Room very clearly Apart from those.. it was not bad
This hotel was just a delight. Clean, quiet and friendly. This price ratio was expectional and special thanks to Miguel who made our stay and the conversations especially comfortable and interesting. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay, a litte bit away from the main centre and a nice little spa on the top.

Good location for a stay before going to Barcelona. Big room.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is good and offers plenty variety. This hotel offers great value! This review is compared to others hotels stayed during my two months in Spain and Portugal. Believe me when I say this hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed at half the price!!!
Stayed at Eurostars hotels elsewhere so knew standard would be good. Lovely rooms, we had booked two rooms for our party both were looking over the expo site with lovely views. Shower in our room would not hold in the holder properly and was disappointing. Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment. Parking was 18 euros a night in the area of the car park under the hotel. Great base for exploring...

Impressive hotel in the public spaces and very nicely located close to Old Town. However we found our room (727) lacking in five star ness and we were a little disappointed (faded glory). Our room had a few maintenance problems (big coffee stain on one chair, damaged sharp metal trim on table) and was a bit jaded with stains on the walls and wood. The rooms on the 7th floor are very old fashioned...
Very well placed for our purpose - seeing our daughter in an orchestra at the basilica. We will definitely return when we have more time - Zaragoza is amazing. The pool area could have been a bit more interesting but the pool was lovely
Traditional ES 5 star hotel .. Great location .. maybe a bit challenging navigating to it ..
Very beautiful, nice and clean, good breakfast, kind stuff and convenient location. The gym needs to be a bit upgraded.
Beautiful hotel with a great staff. We stayed 5 nights and had fresh towels every day when needed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast service in the morning was a great collection of items.

Window in our room was damaged and was difficult to close. The decor was in poor condition with marks and scratches on the walls.....stains on the seats....and no evening meal service....we arrived late and had to go out looking for restaurants. Instead of relaxing.

You know that everything is about your experience. I liked this hotel despite minor shortages that could be improved. Well well well, let's start with accessibility, it almost 6 km by car from the highway Madrid- Barcelona, with easy access. There are a plenty area for parking car around the hotel. really nicely located, but with the car it was not so easy to get to, due to some work, we had to park to a close by parking.
Good hotel in central city. Pool inside with little cold water, outside pool closed begin of May. Room 608 in good condition, clean, good comfortable bed, separate bathroom(no mould) with separated area for WC, big TV screen with some international programs. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Negatives are air-conditioning in breakfast area too cold. (lucky who gets a place next to the toaster:-)), carpet...
Perfect location, good price. A little bit of chaos in the pool managing (dealing with the Covid regulations): we were 2 guests, we booked a spot at the pool but they just gave us one subbed knowing we were 2 people... a little bit weird. Anyway, very centric, good quality and clean.
Rooms are big and clean. The room I booked was really good. It's expensive but good for enjoying a weekend just in the centre of the city. Staff could be more friendly but any complaint.

4 Star Hotel. All stars well deserved. Rooms are fine, so is the reception and breakfast. Easy access to the hotel by car, as the garage is directly underneath
We received a double bedroom, but it doesn’t feel/look like a 4-Star hotel. Old bathroom. Loud cleaning service noises in the morning on the rooms next door. No coffee/tea/water boiler in the room. Breakfast felt like a 3 star hotel breakfast. Good service at the counter during the day. Great location.
Couldn’t fault the hotel itself, but the air con wasn’t that efficient. Not a small thing when the temp outside was 39. The main thing was the waiter in the restaurant charged us for 2 Menu del dias, when my wife only had a main course. Not good!
The Hotel Silken Reino de Aragon is in a great location for walking to the shopping and historical part of Zaragoza. Very safe with underground parking. It is narrow! Only stopped the one night. It is very easy to find. All the staff are very friendly. The restaurant was very good with a good choice. Very comfortable bed ,nice to have a bath and a separate shower
The hotel room was great, above expectations. We also liked the breakfast there. If we're ever going to visit Zaragoza, we'll book again here.
Location is far from city center, around 25 euros for taxi. Breakfast is abundant. Driving in is a easy and quite suitable for short stay. Recommend!
The website says 15 minutes from the city center by public transport - that is only true if you use a "public" race car. There is a bus that takes you downtown once every 1/2 hour, and it is more than an hour. Taxi costs about €25. Very deceptive website and they do not refund your reservation. The rooms are ok, nothing remarkable.

Honestly. I don’t know what people expect. We paid about £80 to stay in this perfectly adequate, spotlessly clean hotel. Yes, it’s on a sort of industrial site, but it’s directly off the motorway, and there is a bus service about 50 metres from the hotel if you want to get into town.
