This hotel is undoubtedly beautiful and luxurious and the location at the Esplanade is convenient and scenic.
The breakfast caters to Western tastes only, but the view in the restaurant makes up for it. Coffee, tea and service are great.
Even with the best efforts, the rooms retain a smell from aged materials, as one would expect from a historic hotel. But something to be aware of for those with sensitive noses.
The showers are quite small but the rest of the bathrooms is spacious.

Excellent location, solid & comfortable bed, big bathroom, friendly & helpful staffs.
Room is a bit small, breakfast: selection is limited (wish have steam vegetables, chicken sausage, better coffee). Sauna area is not big.

Staying at Hotel Kämp was like entering a dream world, but with more luxury and less snooze. From the grand lobby to my spacious room, everything screamed VIP. The bed? So comfy I considered taking it home. The bathroom was bigger than my first apartment!
Breakfast was a royal feast—I lost count of my trips to the buffet. The coffee alone is worth a stay. I even tried the sauna and came out feeling like a new person—relaxed and refreshed.
Hotel Kämp made me feel like royalty. If you want to be pampered and indulge in luxury, this is your spot. Just don’t blame me if you never want to leave!

We had a great weekend at Hotel Kämp. We will definitely come back to see what the hotel will be like after renovations. Great service overall. I want to recommend their own Kämp Lager beer which they really should make a bigger deal of as it's delicious and isn't really mentioned anywhere on their menus. They took care of any issue we brought up immediately.
Some small niggles which are not complaints really, just pointersl. Our curtains didn't block the sun completely so we got sun in our face inn the morning. We were in the spa without our clothes and had our keys cards cancelled at noon despite having late checkout which was stressful, our toilet flushed if you leaned back too much while sitting on the toilet which was a cold wet surprise every time.

I had a business lunch here and the selection was perfect. The staff were professional and friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The beef tartare was splendid.

Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Kämp Bar, and it was an outstanding experience.
The ambiance was chic yet cozy, perfect for unwinding after a long day. What truly stood out, however, were the cocktails. Each drink was a masterpiece, skillfully crafted with a balance of flavors that delighted my palate.
The bartenders clearly have a deep understanding of mixology, and their passion shines through in every sip.
The service was exceptional as well; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience.
Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a great place to relax, Kamp Bar is a must-visit.

Perfect hotel in a perfect location in Helsinki. Breakfast was great too. Had the privilege of staying for 3 nights when we travelled in a big group of 9 pax. Transfers arranged by the hotel was punctual and comfortable. Will definitely stay in Hotel Kamp if we are returning for the 3rd time to Finland.

The location and the building of the hotel is beautiful. It's perfect for a nice evening in the restaurant or a bar. The spa is splendid as well. But if you plan a romantic night or want to have an experience of booking their most expensive suit, I really don't recommend.
The breakfast to Mannerheim suit was 40 minutes late, orange juice and several items were missing. Their separate kitchen didn't have a kettle, and it took the same amount of time to bring it. The table in the dining area and some other items were full of scratches and I would say the rooms were in need of renovation, especially because this hotel claims to have luxurious suits. I really liked the bathroom though.
Next and the last time, we stayed in the Executive suit, where I discovered a plate with fruits and berries all covered with mold at the bottom.
For this money, better travel to Paris or the UAE and be treated like a princess.

Hotel Kämp is the epitome of luxury and far exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was regal, yet inviting, and the staff were truly phenomenal.
Despite being in the center of everything, it offered a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle, affording me quiet luxuries to really enjoy my time and space. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location to explore Helsinki! We were here for two nights and throughout each day we were able to pop back into our hotel if we needed to, which is very convenient! The room is lovely and comfortable and the hotel restaurant and bar are definitely worth visiting!
