Stayed here for a month whilst visiting friends and family in Helsinki. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, approachable and helpful. It is very accessible with the #9/9b trams and is also a short 10-15 min walk to the tallink / eckero terminal. It is walkable into town as much of Helsinki is. I spent over four months here and wholeheartedly recommend it! The 24/7 reception is outstanding - the ladies were friendly and exceptional. Stayed with UNITY for 5 days. Rooms are not cleaned daily (totally fine for me), but are perfectly clean upon arrival. Beds were good, rooms very quiet, hotel-employees super helpful and friendly. You can also get the room key in an app - very cool. The free umbrella rental is an awesome plus as well. Aparments are also fitted with a fully working kitchen and a nice terrace.

Contactless, Self Service Hotel. An overall fantastic stay. 2 drawbacks. 1. I was sent instructions by the hotel while l was on the airplane. Then l didn't know anything was sent. Overall property was nice, hotel room was spacious and enough for a week stay. However, the pillows had a distinct smell to them of body odor and when receiving more towels/pillows those had a odor. The fridge was also leaving off a bad scent where I couldn’t even open it. Nothing was even in the fridge and smelled as such upon arrival. Metro & buses 200m walk. 24 hr supermarket 100 m away. Rooms, small but all you need & clean. Access via pin number's, all very straightforward.

There are dusts on the ceiling and the floor is dusty. Appreciate they are giving us extra sets of towels for our 4 days stay.

Good location near old town and attraction. Easy access to public transportation and train station. Nearby supermarket and convenient store. There are nearby restaurants as well.

They immediately accommodated my unreasonable request to leave my luggage the day before check-in. The free-use washing machine and dryer were a lifesaver on a long trip.

Content there was an iron, microwave, even a bidet! Windows can be opened by using a key found on the table.There is a storage room for the luggages if needed and laundry room with all supplies.I personally appreciate the fact that only a code is needed to get in and out. It's cheap and there's desk if you need to do work. They're weird about making you take out the bins, which I've never had to do at anywhere else I've ever stayed. Location is good though and you could do worse.

The hotel itself is very cozy, clean and comfortable. But the minus is the fact that after 11pm the zone becomes completely "dead". Nice flat in a really nice area, surrounded by elegant Art Nouveau/Romantic Nationalist buildings. Flat is spacious and comfortable; tram stop just a few steps away. No frills, but a laundry room on site. Building has a lift. Bathroom/shower could be a bit more pleasant. Recommended.

Could definitely do with an eye for detail being run over the place and furnished in a more luxurious way versus the very obvious "cheapest possible materials" approach. Nice room, more like a serviced apartment. Lots of space, with a kitchen, sauna, and living room. We had 4 people, 2 in twin beds in the bedroom, 2 on single beds in living room, which was a bit light at night. Location is ok, a bit out of the way but only 15 mins walk from the centre.

Excellent no nonsense place to stay at for a day or a month. Very clean and tidy and great breakfast. The staff is the best.

I had a room with kitchen which was perfectly acceptable. It was clean, I didn't hear any noises during my stay, the breakfast service was good, employees in general friendly. Only I found out on my arrival day that towels are not changed if you stay shorter than 7 days. This could have been explicitly mentioned upfront, to avoid misunderstandings. Other than that, I recommend this hotel.

Before you book this apartment, you have to note few points. 1) This address is only the agent office and NOT the actual apartment address. The apartment is 3 blocks away, and will be miserable to check in on rainy days. 2) There is NO elevator from street level to the apartment building. Our apartment was just next to office. Really liked to process of key boxes it made getting in around 12:30 so much easier. Almost everything was provided in aprtment. We requested for baby high chair and got it the same day. Apartment was very big and quite spacious for 6 people. We enjoyed our stay

I did an out of hours key pick up & the instructions were great. However the apartment was a 20 minute walk from the office where you pick the keys up, which at 1am wasn’t too great. The apartment itself however is hugely disappointing. If I wanted to stay in an Airbnb I would have booked it. Currently staying at one of the properties. From first contact to check in, everything has been perfect. Office is easy to find and the directions to access the apartment were straightforward and easy. The apartment exceeds expectations. Highly recommended.

I stayed 3 nights in Mikonkatu 11 and really enjoyed it. The security is excellent so if you are a solo traveller you will feel very comfortable in the complex. The apartment was a 1 bedroom with a pull out sofa in the lounge room. There was plenty of rom with a dining table, lounge and enclosed balcony. The bathroom had a washing machine so really an ideal setup for anyone who wants an extended stay...

Clean and spacious in a great central location. It is a bit dated, but it wasn't advertised to be otherwise so I didn't expect it to be. The staff is very helpful - the kitchen knifes in our apartment were blunt and the quickly replaced them with brand new. We stayed there for a week and would definitely consider the hotel again next time.

Nice place. Not cheap. Couldn't use heating as was turned off so at times room was cold, but managed with portable heater. Very quiet hotel and location. Very pleasant staff at reception. Beds comfortable but pillows horrible. Couldn't switch off fan from range hood over cooker in room so had that noise 24/7 for 4 days. Spacious and overall a very pleasant stay.

4.5 stars, took a little off for the mediocre pull out couch bed and meager pillows. Staff helpful and the in house laundry and sauna facilities were very much appreciated. Good location with easy access to city centre, and far enough away from the train station to avoid nuisances.

A spacious and comfortable apartment that we very much enjoyed. So much better than a cramped hotel room and at a better price. It is clean and comfortable with the amenities of home. Cook your own food if you want though the kitchen is small. Located in a quiet neighbourhood not far from city center. We highly recommend this place.

The overall experience was alright which is very good considering the price of the hotel. As a 3 star apartment hotel it offers what you need, though no breakfast or restaurant. The things I can complain about are in the details. My partner and I stayed here on our first visit to Helsinki, and found the staff friendly and helpful. The room that we stayed in, a self-contained apartment, was very nice - reasonably spacious with great facilities. The location of the hotel is also quite good, close to public transport, cafés and other points of interest.

I would book again. Clean, close to public transportation, supermarkets, pharmacy and walking areas. This is an excellent location to spend your vacations or business trip. This is a very safe location and the amenities of the apartment are top of the line.
