Close to city centre, friendly staff, good Breakfast, nice rooms, cafe-bar, garage, albeit with a limited number of places. The view of the sea.

Overall a good stay, but a few issues! Not the usual quality one expects from a Hilton. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff did a great job. One morning the hot water broke

If I may have a minor critic, it is just about the fact that the hotel did not offer me any compensation (I just expected something small and symbolic) after a problem with warm water one morning when I had to take a very cold shower before going to a professional appointment

The staff was great, very welcoming and helpful when you needed them. However, there were very few amenities. The pool is indoors, small and cold. There was only one restaurant and no room service

One of the best hotel we stayed in the Scandic region. The only hotel out of 10 that has a bathtub and a swimming pool too. Has both heater and air conditioning. No idea why essential such as a kettle is not provided.

(My toddler doesn't like grown-up toilets, so it's a big deal for us!) Check-out was at 12, so with the toddler we even had some time for a dip into the pool while the baby took a nap

We had the best stay at this hotel. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we stayed 4. Sauna and pool really are great. The hotel is super clean and the staff is super sweet

The rooms are huge and have a very specific design. Very comfortable beds, duvets have a strange consistency but didn't affect my sleep. Only one elevator, but didn't add too much waiting time

The suites at the Forenom Aparthotel Kamppi are pretty good for the price. It is convenient to be able to get in and out with pin codes and not have to check in with a front desk

The suites have all the basics, including a microwave, mini fridge, and hot water kettle. The beds are pretty comfortable. However, while all the bedding and towels were clean, the room was a little dirty

Nice restaurant got a pool in the cellar. That felt a bit outdated with a bit to cold water. And found out the receptionist was wegan also. That made it easier for us to get recommendations

It‘s a great hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the staff is very friendly, supporting and quick. There is a pool and a sauna which are both lovely facilities

This is my go-to hotel in Helsinki. The massive gym is by far the best hotel facility in Helsinki. Just a 10-15 min walk to the railway station, Kamppi etc. , and as a plus the walk is along a beautiful park waterfront

The breakfast selection is excellent, I'd definitely recommend as an add-on. On the other hand the lounge is a bit sad, I would not pay anything extra for that

We came from France for Christmas with my family and it was the best winter holiday I’ve ever had. Workers are always so welcoming and friendly to everyone around. The relaxing facility in the hotel is amazing

Stayed 5 nights in July 2024 and I can really recommend Clarion Hotel in Helsinki. The hotel is quite new, the rooms where clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent

I had a small double room but the soundproofing was terrible, I could hear my neighbours coughing and despite being on a high floor, the noise from outside. I'm surprised to see other reviews didn't mention it? 2

Overall good stay but there was some.issues with the cleaning of the room. I stayed for 5 nights and I had to comment three times to the reception about the room tidiness.

Sauna area needs desperatly updating. Room was nice ja renovated but bit cold. Breakfast was so delicious that it made our stay very satisfying!

(The staff kindly brought me a new pot to use, tho she almost put the glutenfull knive in it, so maybe just a little bit of education to the staff about gluten free and cross contamination would be good) If maybe like those small individual packages of hazelnut spreads and jams can be added it would be absolutely perfect!

However it would be nice to have maybe small individual packages of hazelnutspread/nutella, because the pots that stand on the counter to be used are shared with people who use their knives to spread it on glutenfull bread, and this unfortunately gives cross contamination and makes me ill

It was a short stay but it was nice. Friendly staff and simple and clean rooms. I regret not having time to enjoy the pool and sauna.

also a tram station in front, if you would like to go to the city center which is 5 to 6 miles away. also a grocery store just across the street. If you need something to eat instead of restaurants

As someone who grew up in this neighborhood, coming to Kalastajatorppa was like stepping into a time capsule. This iconic hotel has been one of the top addresses since I was a kid

Only things to note are I'd wanting to head into city center or ferry terminals, it is about a 15-25 minute taxi ride depending on time of day

Users were reasonable, they also have 3-5 taxis at all times waiting outside lobby

It has received some upgrades, but in essence the hotel is how I remembered it to be. Oh, they added iglo rooms at the waterfront. And, watching the sunset from the seaside restaurant is always a nice way to end the day

Location was quite central and fairly close (maybe 5-10 min walk) to a Lidl. Other guests there that I met were really friendly

The Yard Hostel is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. The hostel is located in very close proximity to the central train station and the public airport bus

Furthermore, he beds are great and include privacy curtains, hooks to hang stuff up and outlets. The Yard also has a common kitchen and plenty of bathrooms, and showers

Everything was nice, cozy common area, nice kitchen, good showers. Not as sparkling as on the photos. The lighting in the room and in the bed cell was very bright and cold white. No washing service.

However, they don’t have anyone on staff to address guests bad behavior after business hours, nor do they have a monitored 24 hour emergency line

The rooms are also great- spacious with a sofa and every bed has their own reading light, blackout curtain, locker etc. After 11 pm was quiet time which was great because I was able to have a decent sleep

The two things I think could be better are: including more kitchen supplies in the apartments (like hot pads, tea towels, and containers to store leftover food in), and improving the cleaning of the apartment & furniture

Only I found out on my arrival day that towels are not changed if you stay shorter than 7 days. This could have been explicitly mentioned upfront, to avoid misunderstandings. Other than that, I recommend this hotel

The tram and bus stops are close by making commuting easy and effortless (you can buy transport cards from the reception). There is a 24/7 supermarket right next door. Excellent service from the staff

The location is AMAZING, we were able to explore the city and come back and rest quite easily. Our view was also great, had it been a less cloudy weather perhaps we would have even seen some aurora action

Location is not bad , i mean if you want to stay really close to central not a best option for you. But 3 km is nothing, while you re walking to the hostel you have also chance to see some important things about the city

Travelling around the world for 5months now. Best hostel so far. Everything was perfect. Room has an automated locker. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and families.

Clean, inexpensive hostel. Decent-sized lockers in each room, which use your keycard to un/lock. Plenty of events for residents, though I didn't personally take part.
