Clarion Hotel Helsinki, Helsinki1 / 50

Helsinki, Tyynenmerenkatu 2 🧭 Map
The sauna was great, as was the pool with the glass floor jutting out, just wish it was warmer as it’s open air on the 16th floor and it’s was quite cold. Sky room was a really nice place to chill out with a drink
Good hotel for solo business trips. The sauna and the pool are extra nice. Perhaps the lack of a restaurant during the evening might be a downside.
The hotel is about half a mile from the ferry terminal (West Terminal 2) and a short ride on a tram from the central railway station
The pool and saunas also open at 07:00 and close at 22:00 but are closed around lunchtime each day. The breakfast area is a good size, with sufficient tables and seating, and there is a good choice of food on offer
The gym is open from 07:00 until 22:00 each day and has a limited selection of equipment. The pool is on the roof level and is open air with the saunas (separate saunas for male and female) are on the same level
The shower room is fine and the shower cubicle is a reasonable size with good water pressure and the options of regular shower and rainfall shower. 0 square metres so it is big enough to fulfil its purpose

Nice restaurant got a pool in the cellar. That felt a bit outdated with a bit to cold water. And found out the receptionist was wegan also. That made it easier for us to get recommendations
This is a very nice place to stay - the breakfast especially made an impression. Very fast check-in and the staff was friendly and attentive. Room was spacious with a nice view
Got our room within 5 mins even if we were 1st timers on the hotell
In the lobbies, they have this great ambient music mixed with natural sounds playing, great touch
The central train station is just a stone’s throw away, making transportation a breeze. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-appointed
I was in Kubernetes event there. Environment and professionals were great. Food was overall good, service was quite good as well. Rack was not monitored and cafe didn't have anything to eat

The view from the room overlooks the lake. It's nice to be in the center of the city. The staff is caring and friendly. A very well located hotel for Helsinki
Had an excellent stay, definitely recommend. Breakfast was busy but well maintained, lots of options for everyone
The reception guy was very friendly and hospitable however there were flies hovering around the computer monitor
At first I thought they'd move on but the second time I went down to reception, they were still there, flying about and making that area feel dirty. Other than that, solid breakfast in the morning
Rooms were clean and peaceful, beds very comfortable 👌 only complaint is that the pool upstairs could be a bit bigger😁 otherwise great, will visit again
Check-in was at 15 but we only got our rooms around 16:30. There were a lot of other people in the hotel lobby at the time of our arrival. Many of the guests had to wait 10-15min in a queue to check in

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable room and spacious. Awesome breakfast. Great location accessible to many attractions. In the city centre
Spacious room, guest needs well covered without being excessive. Towel warming rail was a real godsend for me. Thoughtfully arranged hanging spaces that I very much appreciated
Rooms are a great size, plenty of lifts, and great buffet breakfast. Great place to stay if you want to visit the little market, which is close by, around 800mt flat walk. Not close to much else however
I really liked the commitment to sustainability, including paper bin liners, rubbish sorting, and encouragement to drink Helsinki's delicious tap water rather than bottled
The service is classic Finnish - helpful when you ask for it. The sweet location is near the port, Allas Sea Pool and the old market hall. Trams run very close by and are frequent
A couple of pizza places, and small supermarket and ATM. The beautiful church sits just behind and above the Marina. Dining in is an option, and there are snacks available in the foyer/ reception of the hotel

Really a nice hotel located right next to the central railway station in Helsinki. Kind and warm-hearted staff at the reception and super nice rooms
What a beautiful new hotel in the most convenient location in Helsinki! The bed was super comfy, bath tub was a pleasant surprise, service very friendly and flexible, the building itself is so pretty - i felt like a VIP staying here
Tip for dinner: burger at the hotel bar was amazing ✨
The hotel has a very unique character, loved it. An old train station building very nicely renovated. Location is excellent, you can walk to every interesting place in Helsinki from here.
Great hotel, couple minutes away from the train station! The windows are so good, you don’t hear the noise from the central station! The breakfast is amazing, wide variety of food available! I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting Helsinki
The location of the hotel is extremely central and convenient to the train station (literally next door). It is easy to get to all the main points of Helsinki from here either by foot or a quick ride on public transit

Best Hotel I've ever been to and I've been in 5 star hotels in other eu countries. Great breakfast, great rooms, great staff, free coffee in the check in area, beautiful area, in the city center
Very good hotel in centrer of Helsinki, 4 minutes walk to central station. Rooms spacious and brand new. Various food were provided during breakfast. Lots of vegan and sustainable foods
We stayed in a room on the -1 floor, which was neat and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast buffet was a delightful bonus
The staff and rooms are fantastic, and the little touches and gestures made the trip great. And, of course, one of the best breakfast buffets (if I have to compare the other 4 Scandic hotels we stayed in)
One of the best places I have stayed in Europe! Worth all the hype. I am a very light sleeper and I got full 7 hrs of good sleep, the room was clean and stylish
We loved everything from the location, service, and the rooms. One of the best Scandic hotels we stayed in during our Scandinavia trip

Superb hotel in the city center. Oposite Helsinki central station. Good basis to walk towards the different Helsinki high lights. Breakfast is on the 10th floor. You get every morning for free a vieuw over the city
I was traveling with a baby and there were several elements that made me happy: Room was spacious, even the pram fitted in easily. There was a king-size bed and a bathtub, both helpful with a small baby
The hotel is from 1952 Olympic games. It is certainly not outdated, but breases the atmosphere of that moment in rime. Well done by the magazine and staff. I was lucky to have a corner hotel room
The hotel exceeded my expectations. This is not a luxury hotel but the original elements of the interiors were well kept and created nice classic vibes
The break buffet has a wide range of food. Separate counter for gluten free
Additionally, the breakfast can definitely be improved upon as a lot of stuff felt old or overcooked; they have clearly gone for quantity (of products) over quality here. Nevertheless, we had a great stay all-in-all

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! We stayed in five-star hotels and luxury villas throughout our trip to Estonia and Finland, and this hotel turned out to be our favorite! The hotel is exceptionally warm and cozy, with fantastic attention to detail
The central location made it a breeze to explore the city, and it was always a delight to return to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel
This is a beautiful and unique hotel, right on the Bulevardi, one of the nicest streets in Helsinki. The decor was cozy and beautiful, the breakfast was excellent and traditional Finnish
I had an amazing stay. I loved my room and all of the amenities. The breakfast is out of this world and all staff were very lovely. I will 100% stay here again when in Helsinki!
The abundance of candles, traditional Finnish music, pine-scented bath products, and plush reindeer furs give the property a lot of character and really add to its cozy feel
The property is nestled in a quiet Bulevardi neighbourhood where quaint and niche shops / restaurants on different streets await exploration, a really great alternative to the Central Area scene

My daughter had lost her jacket and we were not aware till we were on the last day of our trip. We called Scandic over the phone and the lady at the phone said it was not there
As a business trip it's great for transport with the bus depot being in the shopping centre accessaable by the lift so come rain or snow you'll have a easy onward journey. Staff were very helpful and friendly
We thought we might make a visit to Scandic just to re check and we approached a very warm and welcoming gentleman at the reception desk ,we showed a picture of my daughter wearing her jacket and he went into room and came out with HER JACKET!!☺️also the janitor’s extent of help they go for certain needs of the customers at any time of the day or night
In the lobby , there was a play area for kids which my children really enjoyed😁!The room’s facilities were good 😌 and easy to access
It was a very pleasant experience with Scandic😊!There was a variety of breakfast options which were delicious 😋
Really appreciate the gentlemen and ladies for their help and support 😊! Scandic was definitely a 5/5 for me!🥰

This is my go-to hotel in Helsinki. The massive gym is by far the best hotel facility in Helsinki. Just a 10-15 min walk to the railway station, Kamppi etc. , and as a plus the walk is along a beautiful park waterfront
The breakfast selection is excellent, I'd definitely recommend as an add-on. On the other hand the lounge is a bit sad, I would not pay anything extra for that
Great location, nice room. Parking is small and NO ELEVATOR from parking to lobby etc. Expensive hotel, but it worth this price.
I attended conference for 2 days. Food served during lunch buffet was really of good quality. Deserts served during lunch time looked like bakery chef craft with berrys and chocolate along with simple colorful macaroons.
Will definitely stay here again. Very close walk to downtown. Great food. Great customer service. Also have a nice full gym, pool and sauna. This will absolutely be my go-to hotel for visits to Helsinki.
We really liked the hotel. Very clean room. Great breakfast. There are some shortcomings, but they are quite minor. We will definitely return to this hotel

The hotel delivers a good experience during my stay at the end of Jul 24.   Staff at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. Hotel seems to be dated and quite dark as limited light was turned on when I arrived
Very easy access with public transportation and cruises. Our room was very clean and modern. We loved the facilities and stylish interior throughout, especially in the restaurant and the room
There was Finnish touch in the room deco which was really nice. The menu in their restaurant provided a great selection of food and drink. The service was excellent in both the hotel and the restaurant
As the reception was crowded with guest checkin, after trying to search it by ourselves for a while we eventually learned from the fitness area renovation staff that the sauna is also closed
Easy check in and helpful staff. Overall, it was a really nice stay. We had only two issues during our stay. The toilets in the reception area were small and not very clean
Unfortunately, the fitness area was closed for renovation. Although it was mentioned here that there is a sauna, we struggled finding its location or schedule

It's located very close to Helsinki city centre and has a lot of food options very near. The gym was open 24hrs and while it doesn't have full gym equipment I was able to complete a good workout
While the room was on the smallish side, the staff and all the hotel services greatly made up for it. The staff were welcoming and ready to offer assistance in all things
I loved how everything was designed to make the most of the space. And can we talk about breakfast? It was so good—everything was fresh, and there were tons of options, no matter what you’re into
They were great about allowing us to check in a little early, and quick to offer assistance with any question or issue we raised
It’s like stepping back in time, but with all the luxuries of today! The rooms are on the smaller side, but honestly, they’re so beautifully decorated and cozy, it didn’t even matter
But what really made my stay memorable was the staff. They were so warm and welcoming, always there to help with a smile or just to chat about what to do around the city

The location is good, on the edge of the city centre, the reception staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean with good bathrooms (on the downside they're a little small, and hot at night)
The location is less than ten minutes walk from the central train station and a couple of minutes from the metro, so very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great
In a superb spot for the railway station and acted as a great base as we explored the city centre. It's very central yet the hotel is very quiet. I stayed in a family room that had plenty of space and a comfy bed
I really like this hotel, it's quite old fashioned in some ways but that's why I like it! For a three star it's excellent, the room we had was quite large with a couch and two armchairs
This is a very reasonable hotel, relatively 'budget' by Helsinki standards at around €130 per night for a double/twin including breakfast - they often have 'deals'
The decor is quite old and of it's time, nothing wrong with that. I would stay there again any time, in fact I did

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of key attractions, shopping areas, and Helsinki Central Station
Very nice place in Helsinki city center. Close to railway station. Nice gym and meals. Nice and kind staff. No dislikes. Liked everything.
Very good hotel near the central train station. One day at the start of the breakfast (6:30-7:00), the staff was unable to make omelettes for about at least half an hour
Nice hotel, 5 min walk from the chatedral and central station. Rooms are quite large and clean even if a little up to dated. Breakfast is vaste with a high quality
Opens from 6-11 daily They have sauna separately for men and women The breakfast is excellent from the quality and variety My only negative point during my stay is that i have requested an early breakfast to go for a day that i have an early morning activity I was given the only thing that i specifically said that i cant eat (pork sandwich) and 1 apple 1 orange 1 small piece of cake and a kids juice...
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Helsinki

Coffee, tea and service are great. Even with the best efforts, the rooms retain a smell from aged materials, as one would expect from a historic hotel. But something to be aware of for those with sensitive noses
The room was neat and the turn-down service was amazing. There was a long handwritten note with my name written there, great! Food was delicious. About the service staff: Unprofessional
Renovation was going on, so there was some noise in the lobby and the lounge area was closed. But except the professionalism of the staffs, I'd say everything else was top class
The TV had built-in Chromecast, internet was fast. You get personalized webpage to greet you. Also the bath tub was so clean. We really had a great time there
This hotel makes you feel as if it is a 7 star one! The staff treats you like royalties. The rooms are spotless clean and very well furnished. All that comes with no extra pay
Next day the hotel mistakenly charged us 12€ and repaid us back when complained. Then one person took hours to come to the room when asked for a room service

Location is good, but in Helsinki there is 2 Omenas. The other one is a bit closer to the absolute center and railway station.
I spent three nights in this code only hotel. Overall happy with the experience. Pro Location is good and room was clean. Comfortable matrass and handy to have a fridge and microwave. Cons shower could not get hot
My room was standard and tidy, the bathroom sink handle was extremely hard to turn, but other than that the room was great; there was a mini fridge, a double bed and TV, along with a water boiler and a hairdryer
A weird smell from the shower head in the toilet. It was alright for one night at a reasonable rate in Helsinki. A few nice add on as the microwave, water boiler and a fridge, plus a few coffee pouches.
The first difficulty for us is not to be able to leave our luggages until check-in time (16:00). Rooms are simple and clean with kettle, mini-fridge and microwave. Supermarket, restaurants nearby

A beautiful stay in a lovely hotel. Staff were very welcoming, the room was ready when we arrived at 10am which was a huge relief, and what a room!! Cannot remember a nicer setup and finish to a hotel room
Breakfast was varied (with exceptional vegan options)
Excellent staff. Included breakfast was decent. Wish room had been cleaned more regularly (there were a few days that I returned to me room finding it hadn't been cleaned)
Nice clean hotel with stylish finishes! Clean and spacious rooms. Would be a five but my room was near the gym which was noisy.

Truly one of the best hotels in Europe, I absolutely loved my recent stay at Hotel St George and am already thinking about when I’ll be back
The various art pieces from renowned artists are incredible and the common areas are stunning. - Food: do not skip breakfast or the bakery
Cant think of much to improve, though my only suggestion would be to add Nespresso machine to the room for that fresh morning coffee before breakfast
Great location, service, and beautiful bar. I wouldn’t have changed a thing it, very well situated, walkable, in a cute area
For context we are a couple in our early 30’s, without children fyi. We stayed for the marathon, it was the perfect distance from the start line and location for city centre

Good value for money. It's a simple hotel. Clean with very friendly staff. If you want to stay central in Helsinki but aren't prepared to pay too much for a place just to sleep, then this hotel is a good choice.
Booked a twin room for 2 people, very large space, noise cancelling windows, AC + heating. Service is excellent, option for late checkout and breakfast is included, food is great and staff are very friendly
Space: Central and full of art decors with minimalistic hints with a dash of Finnish designs from Alvar Aalto Rooms: Clean rooms and comfortable space that can make you rested after a day's work or travelling Service: Impeccable and smiling people
