Reviews
The room was spotless, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and offered a very comfortable stay. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Breakfast was the highlight: it’s super complete with a wide variety of options, and I highly recommend trying the omelet with reindeer—a delicious taste of Lapland. Also, they have a very nice sauna on the rooftop - perfect after a long business day.
While the hotel doesn’t have its own gym, they’ve partnered with a brand-new facility just five minutes away. It’s very convenient, as you can pick up an access card and a lock from the reception.
This hotel combines great amenities, excellent service, and a unique location. I would recommend it 100%!
Breakfast was superb! One of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had!
The view from the upper floors is definitely not worth the money, we could see the roof of the arena and that's pretty much it. Couldn't really see the city or the lakes.
The room itself was nice and clean, bathroom was smaller than these rooms usually have but manageable. The hallways reminded me of ship floors. The air conditioning was nice and working, easy to control and quiet!
We liked the breakfast and especially the omelette but the dessert side was lacking. Also, since there were no dedicated time slots the place was packed so full at one point that people were just standing and looking for empty seats.
The personnel were pleasant and helpful.
Our Mystique Deluxe Sauna room was spacious, with a comfy bed, large bathroom, and private sauna—ideal for unwinding after exploring the city. The pine scent and Lapland music in the room added a calming touch.
Breakfast was exceptional, with northern flavors like fresh cloudberries, blueberries, and even reindeer omelets. The staff was friendly, and coffee service at the table was a nice perk. Located inside Nokia Arena, it’s perfect for easy access to Tampere’s events and city center.
Highly recommend for a taste of Lapland charm in the heart of Tampere!
Not any signs of the hotel when entering to Arena entrance A. Which is the closest to railway station. You can get to hotel through there thought if you know where the elevator is. It's just unmarked behind couple corners without any signs.
I took the high floor room with small extra cost, but the view from room - well you see the roof of the arena and some higher buildings in the centre but that's it. Not worth for extra cost imo.
Room is quite small, at least feels smaller than other newish hotels like Torni or Clarion, but it is nice. Bathroom is nice even I would like to see longer faucet as when you wash your hands they will hit the bowl because faucet is so short.
And one thing what seems to be trend now in newer hotels, no bathdropes for all rooms.
The best thing of the hotel - Breakfast, absolutely loved it. Couldn't be much better. Can't think of what would I needed more.
Staff Is very friendly all around, reception, breakfast and floor maintenance.
Location is great and would imagine any happenings in Arena, this would be the place to be.
Everything is new and clean and shiny.
Would recommend.
The room with sauna was a positive surprise.
Great details and the so-called. The Lapland feel is very clear.
Access to the hotel was easy. You can spot the arena from far away since it’s huge! From the train station, go out from Ratapihankatu exit and less than 10 mins walk.
Elevator access to the reception was a bit tricky, it doesn’t have a button inside the elevator but you choose the floor before you get on. Same when you go to your room - you need to touch room key to the machine to choose the floor.
Check in was okay and staff was friendly.
Room was smaller than I expected but I liked the spacious bathroom. (I think it was an accessible room) I liked that TV has lappish BGM. But wished it also had chromecast or something that we can watch videos from our own smart phones. TV only got bluetooth. Bedside has a convenient charging station.
Breakfast was very good. They checked covid passport. They have good fresh veggies selections, as well as warm food, omelette with toppings you like (I requested smoked reindeer and mashrooms), and some unique foods like reindeer liver butter (?), riisipiirakka with smoked reindeer, fresh smoothies, berry juice and joulutorttu etc.
It was nice comfortable stay for a cold winter day. If I come to Tampere I will stay here again.
