I had a great stay at this hotel. The underground heated parking was a fantastic bonus, especially in colder weather. Staff were pleasant and made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a lovely view of the city. The location was ideal – just a short and easy trip into the city centre.
I really enjoyed the food; it was tasty, with generous portions at a reasonable price. The bar also deserves a mention, offering a great selection of drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
All in all, a very enjoyable stay – I’d be happy to return.

When we entered our room it was ok. After the first day and the "cleaning" by the hotel it was not: the only thing they had done was to empty the waste basket. Bed was not done, there was waste on the floor and the bathroom was a total mess. The floor of the bathroom was dirty end unhygienic. When we complained, they said that they only clean the room between the gusts. Funny, because they charge you for cleaning every day. I will never go to this hotel again.

It’s a nice hotel with clean rooms and nice reception staff. I had the premium plus room and the sauna and balcony were great with a big comfy bed.

There are major road works all around this hotel currently (June 2025) and certainly when we were there in May. Getting to and from the train station is a major obstacle course
Nowhere on the hotel website did it explain this, or the noise level of the major works...thankfully not at the weekend, however it did affect our stay. There is a small sign at the check-in desk notifying guests of the problems with an apology, but that's it.
Poor, not to be recommended until works are completed. It is a reasonable 3 * hotel

Stayed one night at Scandic Tampere Station. Overall, a decent experience. The room was a good size and there was free coffee available in the room – but strangely, no English breakfast tea, just flavoured options. A small thing, but it left a lasting impression as a UK guest.
There was quite a bit of construction work going on nearby, and unfortunately, it seemed to start around 5am, which wasn’t ideal. The room also had no air conditioning, so it was uncomfortably warm through the night.
I didn’t get chance to try the breakfast due to early meetings, but it looked decent as I walked past. TV selection had the same issue as other Finnish hotels – very few channels familiar to international travellers.
All in all, not a bad stay, but a few things could be improved to make it more comfortable.

Lovely, clean hotel with excellent location right by the railway station. Quiet rooms which is a big plus.
Great breakfast is actually one of the main reasons I usually choose this hotel when I'm in Tampere.

A 4-Stars hotel without bananas or fresh apples but scrambled egg from a Tetra-pack for breakfast.... if you think that's impossible, just go to the Scandic Station in Tampere!

Nice rooms, which seem to have been recently renovated.
Also, it's very quiet. Even when we had room facing the major road, no traffic noise was heard.

Good location and friendly staff. The room was not that clean as I guess it should have been, but I gave feedback after the visit (because some things I noticed later during the visit). Breakfast was quite regular, large selection of...everything. Iced cafe latte on breakfast was a nice surprise on hot summer day.
