Lovely, clean hotel with excellent location right by the railway station. Quiet rooms which is a big plus.
Great breakfast is actually one of the main reasons I usually choose this hotel when I'm in Tampere.

A 4-Stars hotel without bananas or fresh apples but scrambled egg from a Tetra-pack for breakfast.... if you think that's impossible, just go to the Scandic Station in Tampere!

Nice rooms, which seem to have been recently renovated.
Also, it's very quiet. Even when we had room facing the major road, no traffic noise was heard.

Good location and friendly staff. The room was not that clean as I guess it should have been, but I gave feedback after the visit (because some things I noticed later during the visit). Breakfast was quite regular, large selection of...everything. Iced cafe latte on breakfast was a nice surprise on hot summer day.

Friendly staff, good bed and mostly clean room but unfortunately there were couple of issues that made my stay less than perfect.
First of the check in procedure took forever, then after finally getting a room and enjoying all that Tampere has to offer I woke up early with my sinuses clogged. The reasons for the rude awakening were a construction work next door that had the machines going well before 8am Saturday and air vents that looked like they had not been cleaned up for months.

I travel somewhat frequently to this area for business and I recently stayed here for two weeks. My stay here was quite disappointing. The internet was not working for at least 7 days, that's right, SEVEN DAYS, and was still not working when I left. This caused me great inconvenience, as this was an international business trip. I've stayed in flea and black mold infested hotels in less developed countries with more reliable internet than this hotel. There was no offer for compensation, discount, or much reassurance of any kind by management other than "We don't know what's wrong and don't know when it will be fixed".
I don't fault the general staff for this issue, I believe that management needs to take a close look at whatever IT company they are using for their services, and demand better support.
I will, without a doubt, avoid staying in this Scandic hotel on any future trips.

The hotel itself is ok, just a business type with minimalistic look. The choice of neon pink color was something I really was puzzled about, it ain't particularly comforting one. Rooms are comfy, cleaned ans tidied frequently. Breakfasts are ok if you stay for a short time (just avoid mashed eggs because it's ridiculously blunt), but if you stay for longer you may find it monotonous since absolutely nothing changes.
It's all four star-worth, but I take one star off because I found the air in my room way too dry, I didn't sleep well because of this. Both my other colleagues had just the same impressions so I know it isn't just me.
Besides sauna is just never really hot, in fact, once it's been absolutely cold despite we booked it 10h ahead.
