Scandic Rosendahl

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast selection is super. I had a lovely walk in the nature protection area.

The views from the Pyynikki tower are gorgeous. I also walked to the city center which is also within a walking distance.

I stayed at Scandic Rosendahl, and my experience was honestly quite memorable. As someone who really appreciates comfort, good service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this hotel delivered on many levels.

First of all, the location is stunning. It’s right next to Pyynikki Ridge, surrounded by beautiful nature and lakes perfect for peaceful walks and just unwinding. I love spending time outdoors, and having such easy access to nature was a huge plus. It felt like the best of both worlds: being close to the city while still getting that calm, scenic environment.

The hotel itself had a nice, relaxed vibe. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable simple but well-kept. The bed was super cozy, which I really appreciated after long days of exploring. I also noticed how quiet it was, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep.

One thing that stood out to me was the breakfast buffet. I’m a bit of a foodie when it comes to breakfast, and Scandic Rosendahl didn’t disappoint. There was a wide variety of options, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It’s the kind of breakfast that gives you a good start to your day.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I value good communication and kindness, and they really made an effort to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable. Whether it was answering questions, giving directions, or just offering a warm greeting, their service added to the positive experience.

If I had to mention one downside, I’d say the decor felt a bit dated in some areas. It didn’t take away from my comfort, but a little refresh would make the space feel even more inviting.

Overall, my stay at Scandic Rosendahl was peaceful and enjoyable. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel with great surroundings and solid service. I’d definitely stay here again.

Old and awesome! The 80's 90's vibe is definitively present ✌🏻🥳😎 The rooms are tidy. Has 2 pools and a bridge running over the larger one. Saunas nice. Like other S-Hotels, Rosendahl has a sweetly mellow moods. Family friendly 🙋🏻‍♂️

Take a walk outside, check out the gorgeous surroundings by the lake. If it's summer you can take a swim whenever you like, in Finland the lakes are clean and safe. Only 3 times the local fishermen have seen this huge marine creature moving beneath the waves of the nearby lake, something octopus like they said! Watch out for that.

Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Gluten free stuff available also.

Some grannies wrecked our Tesla's rear end in Tampere while we were sitting in the traffic lights, BAM! Otherwise it was all good.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature. Plenty of free parking spots. Delicious breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. But the pillow in the bed was not the best. A nice pool but the water was a bit too cold.

Hotel was clean, but style was quite old. Anyway nice workers, and good breakfast. Amazing nature area around. Good sauna and swimming pool. Normal price of standard room could be cheaper.

I was there for only three night and the weather was terrible except for the first day. I went for a walk and I saw a beautiful environment around the Hotel, The lake, the beach and walking plays in the middle of the nature. Nearby there is also beautiful old town with small street that remember me my hometown in Italy. I think that in summer it is really a special place. I heard that nearby there is also a "kesäteatteri" but of course it is open only during summer time. However on the other evenings I was not bored. I have been in the sauna, in the gym and spent little bit time at the bar. After all nice place to be.

We stayed here for our wedding night in one of the suites. It was a fantastic room, luxurious and clean. Great beds and breakfast with a big selection. The staff is also very helpful and nice. Highly recommend this hotel.
