That’s one picturesque location indeed! Lovely view and great opportunities for walks. The hotel is nice — you can borrow a bathrobe for a small fee if needed. But mind you: only small cups of tea, no kettle! That was a bit hard for me to handle. 😅
My room was big, with a large window overlooking the lake and the velvety night sky. It felt as if I were far away from the city. Breakfast was delicious and vegetarian-friendly.

I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I really enjoyed the food, the lohikeitto for dinner was delicious and the mustamakkara served at breakfast was very tasty.

The reception was fast and friendly. The hhotel itself is oldish and nothing fancy, but has everything you need. There is a pool are in the basement and a very small gym. There are also two small cozy beaches just around the corner.
The hotel offers free parking for its guests. You have to get a parking permission from the lobby and put it in your car's windshield.
The breakfast is super. They have everything I want from a breakfast, different types of eggs, bacons, cheeses, ham, bread, rolls, veggies. They also serve black sausage and carelian pies with egg butter, so delicious.

I stayed here for a business trip. The hotel itself feels quite old and not very clean – especially the bed, which was disappointing. The air conditioning didn’t work properly and even the TV was not functioning well. However, I have to highlight the staff: they were very helpful and tried their best. For example, when I felt cold they quickly brought me a heater. Breakfast was acceptable, not great but okay by European standards. Free parking and easy access were good advantages, especially for work trips. Overall, the staff keep this place running, but the facilities really need improvement.

Nice location with a swimming pool and good saunas. Beach near by and tons of activities. The hotel allows you to rent bikes or you can take a bus.
The room had trash under the bed, but I also checked in early, so maybe they had no time to double check the room.
All room types do not include bathrobe and sandals. Thr badic one requores you to rent them 5 euros for bathrobr and 6 euros for the sandals.
Sauna/pool is included.
The room had very noicy air condition and it was hot, wr chose less sound and had to lower the power of it. Yet it was loud.
Take pair of earplugs on case it is too loud.
If you want the best views, make sure you ask to get a room from the beach side. The parking lot wasnt much of a view 😅

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast selection is super. I had a lovely walk in the nature protection area.
The views from the Pyynikki tower are gorgeous. I also walked to the city center which is also within a walking distance.

Ensimmäinen kerta ikinä kun respa ei toivota tervetulleeksi. Ei myöskään kertonut aamiaisesta tai aamu-uinnin aikataulusta. ”Nimi tuohon ja tuohon. Allekirjoitus” Lämäsi avainkortin tiskiin. Ei kertonut mikä kerros, missä hissit tai että huoneeni kaukana kuin ruotsinlaivalla.
Toinen henkilö myöhemmin palveli aivan loistavasti. Myös yörespan kärsivällisyydestä pitää antaa täydet pinnat. Oli kyllä kiva kun ennakkotiedosta poiketen baari olikin auki kun tulin keskustasta hotellille.

the breakfast was okay, surprisingly they have vegan options and the location of the hotel is great, around the forest and by the lake but there are so many downsides. 2 out of the 4staffs we encountered were not friendly and doesn’t really speak english. when you enter from the main door to the lobby, you can smell something bad. the room smells and dusty, we found 2 dead flies, it was so cold in the room because the air conditioner/heater doesn’t work properly and the glass were dirty. the bathroom is so outdated and looked ugly, feels like we were in a cruise ship. we wanted to complain but we heard someone complained and only received 2soda drinks, so not worth it. they have big free parking spots outdoor for hotel guests and 4h free for non guests. they have garage parking too, 6€/daytime and 12€/for a night, but I don’t recommend this, there is another big parking spot nearby the hotel, 10hrs weekday from 8-21, they don’t tell you about this spot, so save your 12€.

I love spending time outdoors, and having such easy access to nature was a huge plus. It felt like the best of both worlds: being close to the city while still getting that calm, scenic environment.
The hotel itself had a nice, relaxed vibe. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable simple but well-kept. The bed was super cozy, which I really appreciated after long days of exploring. I also noticed how quiet it was, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep.
One thing that stood out to me was the breakfast buffet. I’m a bit of a foodie when it comes to breakfast, and Scandic Rosendahl didn’t disappoint. There was a wide variety of options, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It’s the kind of breakfast that gives you a good start to your day.
