Mainly giving the place three stars due to the low price. Upon entering the hotel you can tell that it is not a very professional establishment, but this was not what I was expecting as I was looking for somewhere cheap.
The staff are friendly enough. My room fit the basic level of comfort, especially the bed which was very comfortable. The breakfast was overpriced for what it was, but ticked the boxes.
The only real issue I had was actually something out of the hotel's control - noisy people on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Though the hotel is beautifully situated in a pretty street in the town centre, the residents of Chambery do not seem to be able to respect that 0400-0600 is not a very ideal time to shout at each other.

Almost a disastrous non-stay. I didn't get access at 9pm, even though I had notified my ETA in advance. No entry code sent out in advance. Notice pasted on the door gave an incorrect contact number. Only thanks to a resident exiting the locked front door did I get inside and see a notice with correct contact number.

WHAT A SHAME!
Couldn't spend the night at the hotel as expected, and as paid.
The rooms were infested with bed bugs and the hotel receptionist/ manager didn't want to refund me for the night i didn't even spent there.
The hallway, the rooms and the bathrooms smelt like hell and was dirty as i never seen before, even in a 1 star hotel.
I had to manage in the middle of the night to find another hotel, that i paid twice the price because everything was full that night.

The location in town allows you to get around on foot but on a Friday evening does not allow you to sleep peacefully The mattress has had its day and should only accommodate one person Poor soundproofing On the other hand the price is correct

The photos on the site are very far from being realistic. Dilapidated hotel Repairs = do-it-yourself. Non-smoking room: smell of cigarettes and burns on the furniture. Closable window. Decent bedding if you like softness No friendliness

The hotel is cozy for it's price ammenties in the room are very appreciated having a boiler, tea, coffee and free wifi, however it's very loud at night and heaters didn't work

This is the bestest place to stay with the bestest guys, I never mate guys like them before and after the two guys of this hotel, I came here to get the contact details of the reception guys as it's being around 4 years I visited this place and would visit the place again just to meet those guys, Now I am in India, These guys provided me best hospitality possible. Live you both that men and a lady I don't have words for them ❣️🥺❣️. If possible please pin me the contact details, hope you remember me, stay for 15 days and searched a room for me it was 4th October 2018 when I visited to you. Thanks for your support.

The place was great. the Room had really good amenities like a mini fridge and a microwave so you can have a nice breakfast or easy dinner in your room. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The price for the room and the location of the hotel es really convenient you are really close to Chambery center downtown

Good location near the city centre. Clean rooms and friendly reception. Only downside was that there is no airco so the rooms got very hot
